Abstract

Morris "Moe" Berg was a member of Princeton University's class of 1923 where he distinguished himself as a student and as an athlete, graduating magna cum laude and earning the title of captain of the baseball team his senior season. During the Second World War he was an agent for the Office of Strategic Services, operating in Europe on projects investigating Nazi resistance in Yugoslavia and German rocket engineering. Consists of two small notebooks containing Berg's handwritten recollections about his baseball career and travels to Cuba, a telegram sent to Berg in 1937, a letter sent to Berg by a fellow intelligence officer in 1951, and a 2007 dvd titled "My Time with the Catcher Spy" by Neil J. Farkas.
