Description
Brigadier General for Loyalist forces during the American Revolutionary War. Copy of letter to his brother, Lieutenant Colonel William Skinner. Discussing revolution, the role of Congress, and fate of Loyalists, etc. With a warning not to send letters of a political nature unless the courier is completely trustworthy. The copy is attested true by Charles Thomson, Secretary of Congress. 2 pp.
