These boxes contain materials saved by Andre De Coppet regarding the provenance and purchase of items in this collection. Most of the material consists of clippings from auction catalogues and letters from dealers. The material is organized alphabetically by name of subject; for example, provenance information for George Washington letters is filed under "Washington, George."
