Ledger book kept by Ignacio Muñoz, administrator of the Hacienda de
Mazaquiahuac, for the early 1830s. The ledger book chronicles payments, debts,
workdays, and death of workers on the Iturbe family sugar plantation located
near Tlaxco and Izucar. Interspersed within the ledger book are loose letters
to Muñoz from José Mariano Bonilla (his superior in charge at the hacienda) and
from Francisco de Iturbe, as well as loose records of expenses/payments related
to the hacienda and a record of burials for 1830. (Bound in leather.)
