These files include records of various committees, bills, appeals, and acts. Box 88 contains only records regarding the House of Representatives. These files include bills, reports, and documents related to the House Committee on Naval Affairs. Southard served in the U.S. Senate from 1821-1823 and again from 1833 until his death.
