The collection consists of 157 letters written to Robins discussing mathematical questions, computations, and solutions. Correspondents include A. H. Bell, Reuben Davis, Josiah H. Drummond, Edmund Fish, M. A. Gruber, Artemas Martin, who was editor of The Mathematical Magazine, George H. Richards, and C. A. Roberts.
