Consists primarily of four albums of photographs taken by Wilder Haydn Haines (Princeton Class of 1915) during a trip to China and Japan from October 27, 1920, to July 2, 1921.

The collection consists primarily of four albums of photographs taken by Haines (Princeton Class of 1915) during a trip to China and Japan from October 27, 1920, to July 2, 1921. Included are views of Peking, the Great Wall, Tientsin, Shanghai, Nanking, the Yangtze River, Hong Kong, Yokohama, Nagasaki, and Kyoto. The photographs are accompanied by a transcript of a journal kept by Haines and his wife, Mildred, during their trip, and by pamphlets, memorabilia, and a small amount of correspondence, 1921-1923, with T. M. Tsoh, a Chinese banker.
