Description

Pencil drawing for "Mary Poppins in the Kitchen" (1975). The drawing shows Mrs. Banks throwing up her hands while Mr. Banks plays horsie with two small children on his back. Labeled "Sunday (the beginning)" and "Traced from drawing (in pencil) ready for inking." Approved by Travers: "Yes OK. P.T." Other notes in pencil. Final version of this illustration published on P. ii of first American edition
