This subseries contains documents pertaining to Baruch's activities as
the leader of the War Industries Board, a government agency that
coordinated the purchase of war supplies during World War I. The
subseries consists of minutes, reports, price charts, bulletins,
correspondence, and subject files.
The subseries is further divided into Board Records, Correspondence,
Subject Files, and Reports. The Board Records and Correspondence are in
two sets of bound volumes. The subject files are filed in three boxes.
The reports consist of individual volumes shelved at the end of the
Subseries 2I: United States War Industries Board; 1913-1923; Bernard M. Baruch Papers, Public Policy Papers, Department of Rare Books and Special Collections, Princeton University Library.
