This subseries consists of press and private photographs of Baruch and
his family, prominent people with whom Baruch was associated, and
miscellaneous places and scenes. Researchers are advised that the Baruch
with Friends and Dignitaries photographs show Baruch with identifiable
figures of public life, whereas the Friends and Dignitaries photographs
show figures of public life without Baruch. Furthermore, the Baruch with
Friends and Dignitaries photographs may overlap with the Events
photographs, in which other persons have not been identified. The Places
subgroup consists of prints, postcards, and slides showing Baruch's
properties; it includes some hunting and boating scenes.
Some prints may be accompanied by negatives. A number of photographs of
friends and dignitaries are autographed.
Further subdivided into Photographs of Bernard Baruch and Miscellaneous
Photographs. Photographs of Bernard Baruch contain Portraits and
Candids, Baruch with Friends and Dignitaries, Events, and Photograph
Albums. Miscellaneous Photographs contain Members of the Baruch Family,
Friends and Dignitaries, Places, and Unidentified Photographs.
