Scope and Contents

Four 5 x 8" albumen cabinet cards of Fort Stanton, New Mexico, including three views of the fort from various directions and one depicting men, which may include African American troops known as buffalo soldiers, grooming horses. Cards are titled "No. 230, Fort Stanton, N.M. from the N.W.," "No. 231, Fort Stanton, N.M. from the S.W.", "No. 233, Fort Stanton from the N.E.", and "Grooming Horses at Fort Stanton."
