The Renton accession (1947) is described in Marguerite McAneny's "Renton Collection of Programs and Playbills," Princeton University Library Chronicle VIII: 187-189 (June, 1947). It consists mostly of 19th century materials, e.g. Chicago, 1870s. There are also some color printing such as that for the Apollo Theatre in Atlantic City (1909).

Series 1: Manuscript Travel Material, 1886-1922

This series consists of diaries and a map containing descriptions and particulars of ordinary life and travel, noting historic events and scientific phenomena such as vegetation and soil erosion, on trips covering areas of Utah, Arizona, California, Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, New Mexico, Kentucky, Tennessee and Ontario, Canada. Seven of the diaries contain approximately 2,110 photographs and photographic postcards, a majority of which are captioned silver gelatin snapshots made by Fraser himself, ranging from 4x5 cm. to 16x25 cm., along with approximately 100 printed postcards.
