Consists of a manuscript promissory note for a bill of exchange brokered by Haym Salomon for 1776 pounds, signed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, by John Wilcocks and Nicholas Low, two New York merchants and developers, two weeks after the Treaty of Paris was signed and shortly before the British Army evacuated New York City. The note is endorsed by Salomon, and the docketing mentions financier Robert Morris, Jr. (1734-1806), for whom Salomon worked as a "Broker to the Office of Finance."

Consists of correspondence and printed materials collected by German studies and comparative literature scholar Theodore Ziolkowski (1932- ). The majority of the collection comprises Ziolkowski's files on Hermann Hesse, particularly pertaining to the reception of Hesse's work in the United States in the 1960s and 1970s. Other materials relate more broadly to 20th and early 21st century literature, with a focus on modern German authors and authors writing in German.

Theodore Ziolkowski was a Princeton University professor in the departments of Modern Languages and Literatures and Comparative Literature from 1964 to 2001, and Dean of the Graduate School from 1979 to 1992. The papers include teaching-related materials such as research notes, lectures notes, course syllabi and examinations, as well as materials relating to Ziolkowski's governance of the Graduate School.

Charles W. Yost (1907-1981) led a varied career as a diplomat, United Nations representative, writer, and scholar. He was a member of the foreign service intermittently between 1930 and 1971, after which time he devoted himself full-time to writing and teaching. Yost's papers document his professional life in the Foreign Service, as well as his time in academia, and include his correspondence, writings, and photographs.

Makoto Yasuda is the former chairman of Private Investment Company for Asia (PICA), an association of 243 North American, European, Japanese, Australian, and Canadian companies and banks. Based in Singapore, PICA funded new and existing private businesses throughout Asia, specifically in countries with tiger economies. The collection is comprised of PICA's annual and quarterly reports, investment proposals and reports on investment projects, and Board of Directors and Executive Committee meeting minutes and correspondence.

A writer of fiction and nonfiction, Philip Gordon Wylie (Princeton Class of 1924), authored hundreds of short stories, articles, serials, syndicated newspaper columns, novels, and works of social criticism. His collection consists of manuscripts and correspondence representing his life work, ranging from Dormitory Ditties, published during his college days (circa 1920), to The End of the Dream, a novel published posthumously in 1972.

The Joshua Butler Wright Papers (1909-1938) document a thirty year diplomatic career in legations and embassies of the United States in Europe and South America and as Assistant Secretary of State under President Calvin Coolidge. The Collection contains correspondence, documents, publications and most notably, diaries reflecting Wright's impressions of various official and non-official activities.

Series I: Correspondence (1909) consists of a few pages of personal correspondence written to a Mr. and Mrs. Bob while passing through the Panama Canal zone.

Series 2 contains correspondence sent to Richard R. Wright between 1931 and 1934, his undergraduate years at Princeton. Richard was the son of Harry H. Wright. Most correspondence comes from his family's home in Allentown, New Jersey, as well as from Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA. His correspondents include his mother Mary (Mae), his father H.H. Wright, his sisters Elizabeth and Mary, his uncle W.L. Wright, Jr., and a woman named Jeanne. Occasionally included are letters Mae received from her brother Fred in Harrisburg, PA, letters Mae and Harry received from Elizabeth once she was studying at Wilson College. Two of the letters are written by Richard Wright from Princeton, to each of his parents, and postmarked May 1935.

The Wright Family Papers consist of correspondence received at Princeton University by Harry H. Wright, class of 1903, and his son Richard R. Wright, class of 1935, during their undergraduate years, as well as printed postcards and class directories, a songbook and Daily Princetonian style book. The Wright family owned a farm in Allentown, New Jersey, and the correspondence reflects family news, domestic and farm life at the turn of the twentieth century and again during the 1930s.

Series 1 contains correspondence sent to Harry H. Wright between 1899 and 1903, his undergraduate years at Princeton, mainly from his family's home, Merino Hill, in Allentown, New Jersey. Correspondents include his brother Walter Livingston Wright, Jr., his mother Elizabeth Wright, his father Walter Livingston Wright, his sister Bessie, his sister Mame, Bertha B. Richards, and a woman named Jean. Postmarks come from Allentown, Hightstown, Imlaystown, Davis, Nelsonville, Cream Ridge, and Atlantic City, New Jersey, as well as Lincoln University in Pennsylvania. The correspondence reflects mainly domestic and farm life and family news.

WPRB is the student-operated FM radio station of Princeton University, providing music and live sports broadcasts to the Princeton campus community and surrounding areas. The records consist of various materials which document the origins and development of WPRB, including constitutions, by-laws, photographs, membership lists, clipped articles, board minutes, correspondence, and financial reports.

The WPFC served as a watchdog against limitations on press freedom and provided practical assistance programs to journalists abroad, especially in developing countries, to enable them to establish and maintain a free press. The World Press Freedom Committee Records document the administration and activities of the WPFC for its entire period of operations and include project files, meeting minutes, correspondence, and publications.

Consists, primarily, of a life-long series of correspondence between Carter Godwin Woodson, founder of the Association for the Study of Negro Life and History, and Charles H. Wesley, African-American historian and college president.

Consists of 32 letters written in John Witherspoon Wood's own hand to his mother and other relatives. The letters discuss Woods' life as a student at Princeton including current events, academics, and the changing face of the campus. Especially notable is a September 14, 1835 from Woods to his mother in which wrote that 60 of his fellow students nearly lynched an abolitionist.

Murphy's papers document her tenure as Director of the Washington Legislative Office of the ACLU. The majority of the files are composed of memoranda, articles, and papers written by Murphy and the ACLU on a wide variety of civil liberties issues, including affirmative action, the justice system, rights to privacy, voting rights, issues affecting minorities, and issues involving religion. The papers also include Murphy's correspondence files, budget files, and executive committee meeting minutes.
