This series consists of various items mostly relating to Chase's family connections to the artist's colony in Woodstock, New York.

Consists of selected papers of Edward T. Chase (1919-2005) including correspondence, manuscripts and other documents relating to Chase's professional career as a book editor at several New York publishing companies spanning the years 1972-1995.

Consists of the works of Dora Marsden, including The Definition of the Godhead, The Mystery of Christianity, and The Philosophy of Time. Contains correspondence, documents, printed matter, and circulation lists for each of these works.

Dora Marsden was an English author, editor, and suffragette. The collection contains correspondence about Marsden's books and periodicals, manuscripts sent to the periodicals, correspondence with other feminists, part of James Joyce's A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, and correspondence with contemporary literary figures.

Consists primarily of letters received by American poet Sara Teasdale (Mrs. Ernest Filsinger) from over 100 poets, authors, editors, and friends, many of whom enclose examples of their work and discuss their own and Teasdale's poetry.

This series consists of correspondence, from about 1945 to 1972, with approximately 200 different people, including family, friends, acquaintances, and professional colleagues of F. Scott Fitzgerald. This series is organized alphabetically by correspondent.

Consists of correspondence, manuscripts, and printed material relating to the Fitzgerald biography The Far Side of Paradise (1951) by the literary critic, editor, biographer, author, and educator Arthur Mizener.

This group of material relates to five generations of the Trenton branch of the Scudder family. The first generation is represented by Richard Betts Scudder (1670-1754) with an appointment as lieutenant in a British company of foot soldiers in Burlington County from 1711 and two inventories relating to his Trenton estate, both dating 1754. For Richard Betts Scudder's grandsons Daniel Scudder (1736-1811) and Amos Scudder (1739-1824), there is an indenture dating 1770. Daniel Scudder's grandsons, John Scudder (1796-1840), Jasper Smith Scudder (1797-1877), and Abner Scudder (1800-1878), are represented by two indentures as well as a receipt for a slave named Samuel Conover, all dated 1825. Edward Wallace Scudder (1822-1893), son of Jasper Smith Scudder, is represented in two documents: a print of the members of the Supreme Court of the State of New Jersey in 1886 and an invitation to a World's Columbian Exposition event in 1892. Finally, the class notebooks of Wallace M. Scudder (1853-1931), son of Edward Wallace Scudder, are present in the collection and provide information regarding his training as an engineer at Lehigh University, circa 1869 to 1873, and his training as a lawyer at Harvard University from 1879 to 1881. The last items in this group of materials are a draft and final version of an article for the newsletter titled "The Scudder Association, Inc.," dating 1983. This newsletter and the drafts contain biographical information on Edward Wallace Scudder (1822-1893), Wallace McIlvaine Scudder (1853-1931), and Edward Wallace Scudder, II (1882-1953).

Westfield, New Jersey, was part of Elizabethtown from the time it was settled in late 1664 until 1794, when the Township of Westfield was created. The New Jersey Documents Collections, 1601 to 1983, consists of New Jersey legal documents, the bulk of which are from the town of Westfield, Union County, and include land records, financial records, estate records, and court records, many of which were created by various members of the Baker, Downer, Hetfield, Johnson, Miller, Pierson, Ripley, Ross, and Woodruff families. The majority of the collection material dates from 1750 to 1890.

This series consists of personal writings of Valentine Bargmann, most of which are notes likely written and used while he was a professor at Princeton. Many of the notes lack context and contain no heading or date. They include a variety of mathematics and physics equations along with some explanatory text. Also included are drafts of two essays written by Bargmann.

This series consists of letters sent to Bargmann from family members, friends, and colleagues. The bulk of the correspondence from 1920 to 1940 is written in German. Much of it is from family and friends. The bulk of the correspondence from 1945 to 1973 pertains to Bargmann's position as a professor at Princeton. The bulk of the last run of correspondence contains letters discussing awards which were bestowed on Bargmann.

Consists primarily of letters by Aaron Burr (Princeton Class of 1772) to members of his family and associates, along with some documents pertaining to his legal career.

This series contains manuscript materials for several of White's works of fiction and drama, including various manuscripts, copies, and drafts of his novels, short stories, and plays, occasionally in several versions.

American Charles William White wrote historical novels about artists and writers under the pen name of "Max White." Active as a historical fiction writer primarily in the 1930s through 1950s, White traveled in the same social circles as Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas. The collection consists of manuscripts and correspondence of Charles William White ("Max White"), including correspondence with Alice B. Toklas and Gertrude Stein.

Consists of a petition/letter in very small handwriting in Modern Greek of an anonymous political prisoner accompanied by a document in the type of a diary that was smuggled out of the Gyaros detention camp. It is an account of the sufferings of the prisoners from 1947 to 1950: it describes the daily activities in the camp, the living conditions, and more importantly, it names the prisoners being tortured and the guards carrying out the abuse. Also, present are typed transcriptions of letters in English smuggled out in this handwriting from the detention camps and prisons of Aē-Stratēs, Corfu, and Gyaros, dated in 1954 and 1955.

Consists of papers relating to post-World War II Greek history and politics, 1940s-1970s, collected by Norma Spector in her role as the public relations liaison of the Federation of Greek Maritime Unions (FGMU) in New York City.

Screenplay written by Fred Brady and Hans Jacoby for a 1950 Cardinal Pictures, Inc., comedy about a trivia quiz show. The movie was directed by Richard Whorf and produced by George Moskov. This is an undated photocopy with some pages bearing revision dates of August 14 or 15, 1949. 135 leaves.

The series consists of scripts (both typewritten and photocopied) of films, television series episodes, and made-for-TV films, ranging from comedies to tragedies and romances and spanning a period of almost sixty-five years.

Includes a history of Miles City, Montana, written by William Wiseham Dade Terrett, as well as other materials created or collected by members of the Terrett family.

Consists of Courtenay's personal writings, correspondence, documents, photographs, and ephemera, as well as papers related to his collection and sale of Native American cultural heritage objects, art, and remains. Obituaries, genealogical papers, and related materials dating from the early and mid 20th century were added by Courtenay's Terrett family descendents.

This series consists of seven scrapbooks (1863-1961), including one by Clinton Ledyard Blair documenting his years at Princeton University (1881-1890), and two related to John Insley Blair (1863-1908, 1899). This series is arranged chronologically by date.

Consists primarily of travel diaries, scrapbooks, and photograph albums composed by railroad industrialist John Insley Blair and his family. There is also a small selection of letters of Clinton Ledyard Blair regarding a fight over Woodrow Wilson's reforms at Princeton University and Blair's relationship with the University's Board of Trustees.

The F. Wallis Armstrong Collection of Christopher Morley consists of writings and assorted miscellanea of the American poet, essayist, and novelist Christopher Morley (1890-1957) collected by the American engineer Francis Wallis Armstrong (1907-1956).

Also includes two audio cassettes from the American Audio Prose library of two readings by George Garrett at the University of Cincinnati.

Eugene O'Neill, the celebrated American playwright, was a director of the Provincetown Players and a founder of the Theatre Guild. He won the Pulitzer Prize for Strange Interlude (1928) and, posthumously, for Long Day's Journey Into Night (1956). The collection consists of fifteen manuscripts of O'Neill, most of which are first drafts of plays and include preliminary notes.

Consists of 40 letters by various authors to Peter Schwed on the occasion of his retirement in 1982 as editor, publisher, and vice-president (1945-1982) of Simon and Schuster, Inc. Also present are brief comments on these letters by Schwed and a copy of his self-published Plum to Peter: Letters of P. G. Wodehouse to his Editor Peter Schwed (1996).

Consists of additional correspondence and manuscripts.

José Martínez Sotomayor was a Mexican lawyer, judge, and writer who published novels, short stories, and nonfiction. His personal papers includes correspondence and autograph and typescript manuscripts of three of Martínez Sotomayor's books.

Consists of material by and about John Lott Phillips, a graduate of Princeton (1774), a clergyman of the Church of England, and a loyalist to the British Crown.

Consists of the addresses and papers by Elmer W. Engstrom in bound volumes.

A collection of 29 bound manuscripts including but not restricted to contemporary copies of Handel's musical works. Some of these copybooks include works by other contemporary composers. Also included are several indices of Handel's works and a scrapbook concerning 19th-century performances at various Handel festivals.

Includes files of the activities of the Deal and Walmer Handelian Society, founded by Hall in 1946, arranged by event, followed by files on other such societies, including one in Brisbane, Australia. Following the files on Handel societies is material on East German Handel festivals. The collection consists of the personal and family papers of five members of the Blair and Lee families of Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia -- Francis Preston Blair (1791-1876); his daughter, Elizabeth Blair Lee (1818-1906); her husband, Samuel Phillips Lee (1812-1897); their son, Blair Lee (1857-1944, Princeton Class of 1880); and his cousin, Andrew Alexander Blair (1848-1932) -- reflecting their various political, journalistic, naval, family, business, legal, and domestic interests.

A bibliography (1941-1980) of Dr. Thomas's scientific publications is provided at the beginning of this section. Reprints of the papers, if present, follow the chronological order of the bibliography; where they are lacking, a full citation is given. Later (post-1980) papers continue the chronological order. At the end have been foldered miscellaneous material, including electron microscope photographs and requests for reprints of Dr. Thomas's papers.

This sub-series consists of "Mis primeros versos," a notebook (24 unnumbered pages) with poems written when the author was twelve years old.
