The Dillon Gym Library was housed in Dillon Gym, which opened in 1947. Dillon Gym is now mainly used as the headquarters for the Campus Recreation program, and includes various administrative and varsity athletic coaches' offices. The majority of the collection is made up of published material such as athletic handbooks, rule guides and technique charts; athletic organization convention and conference reports; and university publications (sports schedules and programs, admissions material, faculty, staff, and alumni guides and fundraising publications). The collection contains several areas of focus—notably, material on women's sports at Princeton.

This microfilm consists primarily of pamphlets published by non-governmental organizations and government agencies from various Latin American countries in relation to women and gender issues. The bulk of the material was published during the 1980s and 1990s.

Louis Adamic was an author deeply concerned with American immigrants and their experiences in the "melting pot." This collection consists of papers of Adamic, including manuscripts of his books, short stories, articles, and lectures, as well as sketches, paste-ups, and proofs of Adamic's own journal T & T. Also included are correspondence, subject files, and works of other writers.

Elmer Adler was a printer, publisher, editor, and author. This collection consists of the personal papers of Adler as well as the business archives of the Pynson Printers and The Colophon.

Consists primarily of papers of Frank Nelson Doubleday and his son, Nelson, relating to their personal and business relationships with prominent authors and artists published under the Doubleday imprint, such as Joseph Conrad, A. B. Frost, Rudyard Kipling, T. E. Lawrence, and W. Someset Maugham.

Mildred Gilman Wohlforth was an American journalist, newspaper reporter, and novelist. Her papers include over 600 letters from friends, family, and literary associates, along with autograph and typed manuscripts for several unpublished novels. Also present are selected papers of her husband, Robert Wohlforth, a journalist, business analyst, and author.

The Lulu Glaser Papers contains various artifacts, letters, photographs, and other items belonging to Lulu Glaser, a popular singer and actress during the early 1900s. Glaser starred in a couple Broadway plays in the 1890s and later opened the Lulu Glaser Opera Company in 1900, where she produced a number of operas before retiring from performing in 1917. Collection includes materials relating to Glaser's many productions as well as offers insights into her personal life before and after retirement.

J. Douglas Brown (1898-1986) was an economist and Princeton University administrator who was an expert in the field of industrial relations, especially on the subjects of Social Security and personnel and manpower issues. He was one of the leaders in the development of the Social Security program and also served in the War Department during World War II on manpower issues. Brown's papers document his career as a government consultant, as a scholar, and as a university administrator and include his correspondence and writings, reports, meeting minutes, notes, and publications.

Consists of personal papers of American naval officer Harpur Allen Gosnell (Princeton Class of 1912), including his articles on naval history and naval subjects.

Bernard M. Baruch was a financier and public adviser. This collection consists primarily of public papers relating to Baruch's various involvements in government affairs.

Consists of a collection of miscellaneous legal and financial documents, correspondence, and other manuscript materials, assembled from various sources, that relate to New Jersey history or inhabitants of New Jersey from the late 17th century through the mid 20th century.

G. Edward Pendray was an early proponent of rocket power and space flight and co-founder Pendray and Company, a prominent public relations firm. The G. Edward Pendray Papers consist of correspondence, notes, memoranda, drafts, reports, photographs, and printed material related to Pendray's career in public relations and his life-long interest and involvement in aeronautics and astronautics.

The President's Program was a fundraising drive initiated by Princeton President Harold W. Dodds in 1936. Targeting alumni, the program had an ultimate goal of raising over 7 million dollars, to be distributed across three major projects; the construction of a new library, the developement of the school of public and international affairs, and increased scholarship funds. Consists of regional files containing correspondence with program representatives throughout the nation.

Harold Sprout was a professor of Politics at Princeton University. Consists of Sprout's collection of copies of papers in the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library (Iowa) pertaining to the London Naval Conference of 1930 which resulted in a treaty for the limitation of naval armaments and the exchange of information concerning naval construction between the United States, Great Britain, and Japan.

Christian Bernard Shea was a member of the Princeton Class of 1916 and an avid supporter of Princeton athletics. The collection consists of Princeton University athletics statistics and newspaper clippings compiled by C. Bernard Shea between approximately 1901 and 1960.

Consists primarily of letters and postcards to various friends, fellow poets, and associates by American poet and editor Allen Tate.

The Cameron Family Papers consist primarily of the correspondence and writings of former Princeton University professors Henry Clay Cameron (1827-1906) and his son, A. Guyot Cameron (1864-1947), with some correspondence relating to Henry C. Cameron's wife, Wilhelmina "Mina" Louise Cécile Chollet (1832-1908). There is also a significant amount of Cameron family photographs as well as some documents, printed matter, and ephemera relating to Princeton University. Famed Swiss-American geologist, geographer, and Princeton professor Arnold Henry Guyot (1807-1884), a relative of the Cameron family through marriage, is also represented in the collection through classroom maps, correspondence, a journal, and printed articles and lectures by and about Guyot. Most of the materials in the collection are professional in nature.

John Peale Bishop (Princeton Class of 1917) was a noted author, poet, and editor. This collection consists of manuscripts, correspondence, documents, drawings, printed materials, and memorabilia of Bishop.

Conists of personal papers of William Tipping Esq, of Brasted Park, Sevenoaks, in Kent, and Avray near Paris. He was the son of the successful Liverpool merchant John Tipping, who in his twenties traveled extensively in Europe and the Middle East before turning to Tory politics and serving as director of the London and North Western Railway.

This collection contains George Field's files of the organization Freedom House (1933-1990; Bulk Dates 1941-1969). Freedom House was formed in October 1941 as an organization dedicated to the defense of freedom throughout the world--a cause perceived to be in great danger. Founding members included George Field, Dorothy Thompson, Wendell L. Willkie, Herbert Agar, Herbert Bayard Swope, and Rex Stout. These and other members had been involved in both Fight For Freedom and in the New York Chapter of the Committee to Defend America By Aiding the Allies. Freedom House carried on the spirit of these two organizations by acting as a clearing house of information. Its first agenda was to work, during World War II, to prepare the country for peace, and then after the war to continue to defend peace and freedom throughout the world. Throughout the period from 1941 to 1967 George Field was the Executive Director of Freedom House and was in charge of the day-to-day activities as well as the long-range planning for the organization. These records reflect Field's position in Freedom House during this time. The collection contains only the records that George Field retained from Freedom House, not the official records of the organization. Included in these records are Field's copies of Freedom House meeting minutes, correspondence, newspaper clippings, publications and writings, financial files, legal files, and photographs.
