Kernodle Collection of Louis E. Laflin, 1940-1973
The collection consists of letters by American educator and playwright Louis Ellsworth Laflin (Princeton Class of 1924) to George R. Kernodle (a friend from Yale Drama School), written over thirty-three years. Also included are Laflin's notes and papers on Asian/Indian, Egyptian, and Greek drama, copies of six plays written by him, and copies of two essays on the founding and history of Princeton's Theatre Intime.

Subseries 18E: Gift Letters (Donor Files), 1940-1987, consists of the correspondence, memoranda, and other documents related to the donation of gifts to the University from individuals. While most donors were alumni, many were not. The files include material about numerous notable individuals, including Irving Berlin, John C. Danforth '58, William O. Douglas, Doris Duke, Brooks Emeny '24, Prince Saud Al-Faisal '64 of Saudi Arabia, Roger S. Firestone '35, Robert F. Goheen '40, George Kennan '25, Richard J. Riordan '52, Charles S. Robertson '26, Laurance Rockefeller '32, Donald Rumsfeld '54, and George Shultz '42. Not every solicitation was successful. This material is similar to that found in Subseries 7C: Finances--Endowments and Gifts.

Arthur Cort Holden Papers, 1940-1993
Arthur Cort Holden was a member of the Princeton University Class of 1912. He went on to earn a graduate degree in architecture from Cornell University, and joined the New York City firm of McKim, Mead, and White, later forming his own firm and advising Frank Lloyd Wright on the design of the Guggenheim Museum in 1949. Consists of personal papers and correspondence of Arthur Cort Holden.

The clippings in this collection were collected decades after Zelda Fitzgerald was hospitalized at Craig House. The clippings include F. Scott Fitzgerald's obituary, and several articles about either Zelda Fitzgerald or F. Scott Fitzgerald from the 60s and 70s, a couple of which were from the publication, Princeton Alumni Weekly.

Series 1: U.S. Military, 1941-1948
The U.S. Military Series is largely composed of Fuller's personal correspondence with friends and family, notably his wife Georgia, discussing his experiences in the military and their daily lives. The series also includes his diaries from this period, memoranda Fuller wrote to headquarters about the merits of fellow servicemen for promotions, military business correspondence, papers that Fuller translated into English for the military, informational memoranda on military procedures and tactics, and negatives of pictures Fuller took of war devastated eastern Europe. Also included is correspondence related to Fuller searching for employment after he was discharged from the military and papers related to his company, Bodkin Research Manufacturing Co., Inc.
