David F. Bradford (1939-2005) was a professor of economics and public affairs at Princeton University and served on the faculty from 1966 to 2005. His main areas of study were public finance and urban problems, and he was internationally known as an expert on taxation. Bradford's papers document his academic career and include correspondence files and conference files, as well as papers related to his research with Harry H. Kelejian, his appointment books, and biographical materials from his years as a student.

This series consists of typed manuscripts of articles, essays, press-release, and reports of individuals, organizations, or governmental offices.

Consists of the collection of Alexandros Xydēs, Greek diplomat and art critic. Included are typed manuscripts, correspondence, off-prints, ephemera, and other printed material with a focus on Greek politics, Cyprus, human rights, and international relations.

Includes correspondence, in Greek, between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece and George Seferis during his post as a diplomat in Cairo (Egypt) dated 1944; typescript of a press release regarding Seferis's decision to stay away from politics (1969). Consists of correspondence, manuscripts, and ephemera by and relating to John Steinbeck collected by Preston Beyer, cofounder of the John Steinbeck Society of America. Included is a large amount of correspondence (circa 1939-1993) of Beyer with bibliographers, critics, collectors, biographers, universities, friends, and relatives concerned with the life and works of John Steinbeck.

The first series consists of various materials which document the origins and development of WPRB, including constitutions, by-laws, photographs, membership lists, clipped articles, board minutes, correspondence, and financial reports. The records are especially illustrative in their documentation of the station's beginnings. Nearly every piece of correspondence from station member H. Grant Theis is preserved, often with his own retrospective commentary attached. There are also several drafts of station histories, and large amounts of correspondence and technical reports detailing the station's move from AM to FM broadcasting. The records also contain a number of photographs of WPRB staff and facilities. These photographs have been left in their original locations, and are interspersed with the station records.

WPRB is the student-operated FM radio station of Princeton University, providing music and live sports broadcasts to the Princeton campus community and surrounding areas. The records consist of various materials which document the origins and development of WPRB, including constitutions, by-laws, photographs, membership lists, clipped articles, board minutes, correspondence, and financial reports.

Includes personal and professional photographs of François Wahl and Severo Sarduy. Also includes photographs of friends, pets, and Wahl's home.

Includes audio or visual materials regarding artwork done by others, photographs, and audiocassettes. The bulk of this series features an extensive slide collection of Sarduy and Wahl's travels.

Series 2: Files on Dedications, Memorials, Inscriptions and Donors, 1939-1978, 1991-1992, 2010 (bulk 1959-1975) consists primarily of correspondence and memoranda, along with a limited amount of architectural sketches and other planning documents related to various projects and events.

Working in conjunction with the Office of Development, Princeton University's Office of the Recording Secretary receives and officially acknowledges gifts to Princeton on behalf of the president and the trustees of the University, and keeps donors informed as to the impact of their gifts. The files from the Office of the Recording Secretary consist of records of gifts donated to Princeton.

Albert Montefiore Hyamson was a British civil servant, Zionist author, and historian who served from 1917-1921 in the Jewish Bureau of the United Kingdom Department of Information and from 1921-1934 in Mandate Palestine as Director of Immigration. The Albert Montefiore Hyamson Papers consist primarily of reports written by the Palestine Group in the The Royal Institute of International Affairs, correspondence regarding Palestine between Hyamnson and J. L. Magnes, and a small amount of clippings.

The records of the War Service Bureau include a wide range of documentation for Princeton men who served in World War II. Materials include biographical, military and school-related information, as well as correspondence between the students and Princeton University staff, faculty and students, and subject files for the War Service Bureau office.

Series 3: Questionnaires (1944-1949) are arranged chronologically by class, and alphabetically within each class. The questionnaires consisted of a series of questions and categories for academic and personal information.

Series 1: Records of Men consist of records of individual Princeton University students who served in the military from the Class of 1943 through the Class of 1949. There are single cards for each individual on which is noted biographical information, military rank, home address, service address, and other related information. There are also folders for individuals which include correspondence between Princeton University faculty and staff of the War Service Bureau office, as well as other materials relating to that student's class. For the Class of 1943 there are only cards, but for the Class of 1944 through 1949 there are individual folders for most men. The records are arranged chronologically by class, and alphabetically within each class. In general, the cards appear at the beginning of the chronological run.

This collection consists of the individual academic files of former undergraduate students of Princeton University. The files contain grades, transcripts, and other information relating to the subject's academic career.

Series 1: Bureau of Student Placement Records, 1940-1953 consists of army, navy, and marine corps plans for colleges, card files containing information about students in the service, and the correspondence of director Gordon G. Sikes which includes letters to and from servicemen, military officials, and other University administrators.

The Bureau of Student Placement was an administrative office at Princeton University that operated roughly from 1945 to 1953 and acted as a liaison between the various armed services and the Princeton University community. The records consist of army, navy, and marine corps plans for colleges, card files containing information about students in the service, and the correspondence of director Gordon G. Sikes which includes letters to and from servicemen, military officials, and other University administrators.

Series 6: Later Additions contains Woodrow Wilson Foundation Annual Reports, Link's correspondence pre- and post-Princeton career, and some additional materials.

Arthur S. Link was an author, editor, scholar and publisher, but is best known as the leading historian on Woodrow Wilson and for his leadership over the publication of Wilson's papers. This collection consists of the personal papers of Link, which includes articles, correspondence, notes, office files, and presidency records of the American Historical Association.

Series 3: General, 1940-1962, arranged alphabetically by topic, contains articles and dispatches written by Hughes for Time-Life, Inc., notes and book reviews related to his monographs, newspaper clippings on Hughes, and schedules, calendar pages and diary notes related to the Eisenhower administration. Photos found at the end of this series include those for Report from Spain, official Navy photos from the trip on the U.S.S. Helena to Korea with Eisenhower, and a set of general photos kept by Hughes.

Emmet John Hughes (1920-1982) was a journalist and speechwriter. The collection is primarily composed of drafts, research files, reviews, and other materials pertaining to various books and articles written by Hughes. The collection also documents Hughes's work as a speechwriter for Dwight D. Eisenhower in the presidential campaigns of 1952 and 1956 and the first year of Eisenhower's presidency, as well as his role as a political advisor and speechwriter for Governor Nelson Rockefeller's 1968 presidential bid.

Charles A. Lindbergh and Anne Morrow Lindbergh were a famous twentieth-century aviation couple. The papers consist of manuscripts of Charles's A Letter to Americans and Anne's The Wave of the Future, A Confession of Faith, with related correspondence.

Consists of photographs of Middle East scenes collected by Bayard Dodge, president of the American University in Beirut, Lebanon.

The collection consists of letters by American educator and playwright Louis Ellsworth Laflin (Princeton Class of 1924) to George R. Kernodle (a friend from Yale Drama School), written over thirty-three years. Also included are Laflin's notes and papers on Asian/Indian, Egyptian, and Greek drama, copies of six plays written by him, and copies of two essays on the founding and history of Princeton's Theatre Intime.

Subseries 18E: Gift Letters (Donor Files), 1940-1987, consists of the correspondence, memoranda, and other documents related to the donation of gifts to the University from individuals. While most donors were alumni, many were not. The files include material about numerous notable individuals, including Irving Berlin, John C. Danforth '58, William O. Douglas, Doris Duke, Brooks Emeny '24, Prince Saud Al-Faisal '64 of Saudi Arabia, Roger S. Firestone '35, Robert F. Goheen '40, George Kennan '25, Richard J. Riordan '52, Charles S. Robertson '26, Laurance Rockefeller '32, Donald Rumsfeld '54, and George Shultz '42. Not every solicitation was successful. This material is similar to that found in Subseries 7C: Finances--Endowments and Gifts.

Arthur Cort Holden was a member of the Princeton University Class of 1912. He went on to earn a graduate degree in architecture from Cornell University, and joined the New York City firm of McKim, Mead, and White, later forming his own firm and advising Frank Lloyd Wright on the design of the Guggenheim Museum in 1949. Consists of personal papers and correspondence of Arthur Cort Holden.

The American Ballet Theatre is an American ballet company founded by Oliver Smith and Lucia Chase in 1940. The collection consists of programs of performances of the Ballet Theatre dance company from its first performance in 1940 until 1979.

Series 1: Correspondence and Related Material contains general correspondence to and from (mostly to) Tobey while he was living and teaching in Samsun Turkey.

Consists mainly of correspondence and manuscripts of Tobey (Princeton Class of 1940) from the period (1955-1976) when he was a member of the staff of the Turkish Ministry of Education in Samsun, Turkey, teaching English.

The clippings in this collection were collected decades after Zelda Fitzgerald was hospitalized at Craig House. The clippings include F. Scott Fitzgerald's obituary, and several articles about either Zelda Fitzgerald or F. Scott Fitzgerald from the 60s and 70s, a couple of which were from the publication, Princeton Alumni Weekly.

The U.S. Military Series is largely composed of Fuller's personal correspondence with friends and family, notably his wife Georgia, discussing his experiences in the military and their daily lives. The series also includes his diaries from this period, memoranda Fuller wrote to headquarters about the merits of fellow servicemen for promotions, military business correspondence, papers that Fuller translated into English for the military, informational memoranda on military procedures and tactics, and negatives of pictures Fuller took of war devastated eastern Europe. Also included is correspondence related to Fuller searching for employment after he was discharged from the military and papers related to his company, Bodkin Research Manufacturing Co., Inc.

Jeffrey Fuller (1917-1970) worked for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) from 1948 to 1966 and also served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Fuller's papers document his service in the U.S. military and his work for the ACLU and include his personal and professional correspondence, memoranda, and diaries.

Consists of correspondence with individuals such as Carlos Baker, John Addison, Barbara Whitehead Holmes, and David Whitehead, as well as others.

The Miscellaneous Dance Files Collection contains printed programs, souvenir programs, clippings, and reviews of various ballet companies and choreographers.

This collection consists of papers of Diego, Cuban poet, author, and translator. Included are correspondence between Diego, his wife, various friends and other writers.

This last series contains all of Gesner's oversize work from the collection. The oversize contents include sheet music, manuscripts, conductor's scores, posters, a scrapbook, and Gesner's diploma from Princeton University.

This series includes all the materials donated to the Mudd Library by Melissa McGann. The work found here is mostly from Gesner's early years and collegiate years. The folders contain early plays, songs, and scripts.

Clark Gesner (1938-2002) was an American composer, lyricist, and writer most famous for his theatrical production You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. His papers document his entire career and include scripts and scores, as well as production notes, correspondence, publicity and reviews, and photographs.

Consists of correspondence and miscellaneous materials related to Walter Kauzmann's work on the Manhattan Project and his career as a professor of chemistry at Princeton University.

This collection of workbooks, reports, serials, pamphlets, and flyers documents the history of Brazilian educational initiatives and programs over the past six decades, from 1940 to 2006, with an emphasis on materials from the late 1980s and early 1990s.

This subseries consists of negatives, contact sheets, color transparencies (slides), manuscripts, research, interviews, correspondence and a few prints for Douglas Kent Hall's unpublished photography projects. The material spans Hall's entire career and most of the projects are thematically related to other concurrent projects or publications located through the rest of the collection. When known, those relationships are listed at the project level.

This series consists of photographic and manuscript material spanning Hall's entire career, from when he started experimenting with photography in 1965 until his death. Manuscripts, research, interviews, correspondence, working drafts, audio and visual materials in magnetic and optical formats, and reviews are also included with the project to which they correspond.

May 2008 Accession consists of correspondence between family members prior to and following Allen Macy Dulles' injury as a Marine lieutenant in the Korean War. Prior to the injury, the correspondence documents Dulles's education and activities at primary school, Phillips Exeter Academy, Princeton University and Oxford University. Following the injury, materials include correspondence to and from Allen Macy Dulles, professional and personal correspondence of Allen Welsh Dulles and the Dulles family, correspondence with doctors regarding Dulles' physical condition, and military records including a citation for the Silver Star Medal which Dulles earned for his wartime leadership and bravery.

Allen Macy Dulles, son of Clover Todd and Allen Welsh Dulles, was a student of history and politics with plans for a career in public service until he sustained a serious injury in the Korean War. The collection consists of correspondence between family members prior to and following Allen Macy Dulles' injury as a Marine lieutenant in the Korean War.

This series consists of photogrraphs of Susanna Moore and her family as well as photographs of Frank Conroy, Deborah Eisenberg, Michael Laughlin, Mike Nichols, Jack Nicholson, Michelle Phillips, Roman Polanski, Wallace Shawn, and Richard Sylbert. Also includes images of Moore as a model.

Susanna Moore is an American novelist. Her papers consist of drafts of novels and nonfiction books, correspondence with writers and artists, teaching materials from her time spent teaching incarcerated writers and Princeton undergraduates, photographs, and audiovisual material.

This accession of materials includes drafts of poems and prose writings, correspondence, writings of others on the subject of Reina María Rodríguez, and some printed material and ephemera. Of special note is the group of eight letters from the Cuban writer Antonio José Ponte to Rodríguez, sent between 1988-1990.

This file group includes drafts, excerpts, addenda, and final versions of various writings by Pacheco, including poetry, short stories, scripts, screenplays, essays, articles, translations, and others. Also included are writings by other authors, including translations of Pacheco's works. A large number of writings were undated, untitled, unattributed, and in many cases, drafts and fragments mixed together, which were impossible to separate and identify given the disorganized state of the material upon receipt.

This file group consists of correspondence from various colleagues, publishers, family, and friends. Frequent and notable names found throughout the correspondence include Octavio Paz, Juan Vicente Melo, Carlos Fuentes, José Miguel Oviedo, Sergio Galindo, Félix Grande, Guillermo Cabrera Infante, Homero Aridjis, Carlos Monsivaís, Rosario Castellanos, José Bianco, Vicente Rojo, Hugo J. Consists of thirteen notebooks compiled by American biographer Allison Williams Bunkley while in South America doing research for his book The Life of Sarmiento (1952).

The 2015 accession comprises an additional 12.4 linear feet of research, draft, and publishing materials related to Bell's works, The Year of Silence, Behind the Moon, Devil's Dream, The Color of Night, Soldier's Joy, Charm City, Red Stick, Zig Zag Wanderer, Lavoisier in the Year One, Soul in a Bottle, and Toussaint Before the Spirits, as well as additional correspondence from 2002 to 2011 and subject files from 1995 to 2014.

Madison Smartt Bell (1957-) is an American novelist best known for his trilogy of novels about Toussaint Louverture and the Haitian Revolution, published between 1995 and 2004. His papers consist of writings, personal and professional correspondence, family documents, memorandum books, printed materials, and subject files, including drafts, galleys, and proofs for his novels, short stories, and other writings.

Consists primarily of several versions, reflecting the printing stages, of Backbone of the Herring (1941), Curtis Bok's fictionalized look at courtroom justice seen through the eyes of a judge. Bok was a common pleas court judge in Pennsylavnia at the time.

Consists of manuscripts and related material for four works of fiction by American novelist Harvey Smith (Princeton Class of 1917).

Consists of selected correspondence, manuscripts, and photographs of the Anglo-American poet W. H. Auden, one of the most acclaimed poets of the 20th century.

Consists of selected papers of American engineer, Donald L. Derrom; the bulk of which deals with the building of a rock crushing plant for the Rock Products Corp., Ltd., of Tel Aviv, Israel.

The papers of Joseph A. Robinson, Princeton Class of 1931, are comprised almost entirely of Robinson's letters to his family during the years 1941-1952, when Robinson worked in the Office of War Information and the Foreign Service. The collection includes some drafts and copies of his work, radio scripts and newspaper clippings, as well as photographs, currency, invitations and postcards. Some of the later letters cover portions of his term in the Foreign Service, though with significant gaps. The most fully documented year is 1946. Robinson was involved in the establishment of informational and cultural affairs agencies in Saigon and Warsaw, and describes the internal politics and external challenges of creating an American news presence overseas.

The Princeton Print Club was founded in late 1940 by a group of students seeking to advance the appreciation of graphic arts among the campus community. The records consist of financial accounts, correspondence, and pamphlets which document the activities and membership of the Princeton Print Club.

The Papers of Frederick H. Osborn, Class of 1910, (1889-1981) cover some of Osborn's service to, and interest in, the University as a charter trustee from 1943-1955 and as a member of several advisory boards, including the Curriculum Committee and Psychology Department Council.

Louis O. Coxe (Princeton Class of 1940) was a noted twentieth-century poet, playwright, and critic. The collection contains autograph and typescript versions of Coxe's poetry and sixteen of Coxe's notebooks. Also included are materials for the play Billy Budd, such as notes, drafts, worksheets, galley proofs, and production notes.

Virgilio Pinera (1912-1979) was a Cuban novelist, playwright, and storywriter. The collection consists of his works, including manuscripts of various poems, an unfinished play, theatrical sketches, and prose essay. The collection also contains Piñera's extensive correspondence with Humberto Rodriguez Tomeu (1919-1994), a Cuban short story writer and translator, and Witold Gombrowicz's correspondence with Rodriguez Tomeu.

Consists primarily of biographical information about Virgilio Piñera, Humberto Rodríguez Tomeu, Witold and Rita Gombrowicz, and Graciela Peyrou.

The Helen MacInnes Papers contain the original manuscripts of twenty-two published novels, miscellaneous articles and speeches, and a play of renown Scottish novelist Helen MacInnes.

The Emir Rodriguez Monegal Papers consists of correspondence, manuscripts of novels, short stories, verse, plays, and essays by others, mansucripts of essays and criticism by Rodriguez Monegal, photographs, and printed and recorded material.

The U.S.S. Princeton [C.V.L.-23] Collection, located in the University Archives, contains research materials for the book, Carrier Down, by Marcia Clark in which the history of the U.S.S. Princeton is chronicled.

Frances de Chollet (1900-1994) assisted Allen Dulles with obtaining the diaries of Galeazzo Ciano, the Foreign Minister of Italy from 1936-1943, from Ciano's wife, Edda, who was also the daughter of Benito Mussolini. The collection is mostly composed of correspondence written to Frances de Chollet from Edda Ciano, though letters from Allen Dulles and other correspondents are included to a lesser extent. The collection also contains a small amount of de Chollet's notes documenting her face-to-face meetings with Edda Ciano.

Consists of papers primarily related to Eileen Simpson's book, Poets in their Youth: A Memoir, about her married years with poet John Berryman.

Series 6, Photos and Memorabilia, circa 1941-1984 contains a small number of photos, with the bulk from the 1970s. This also includes the photos used in Tangled Web. It also contains a large framed copy of the covers of the first and last edition of Foreign Affairs that Bundy edited.

This microfilm contains materials published or distributed by Protestant Christian organizations in Cuba. Many are published or printed by independent evangelical groups and distributed by various denominations or churches.

The series consists of scripts (both typewritten and photocopied) of films, television series episodes, and made-for-TV films, ranging from comedies to tragedies and romances and spanning a period of almost sixty-five years.

George Hafstad was a plant pathologist and a field technician with the U.S. Rubber Development Corporation in Brazil from 1943 to 1945. The George E. Hafstad Papers include a diary, several technician reports, and a folder of photographs from Hafstad's time as a field technician with the U.S. Rubber Development Corporation Amazon Division.

Series 1: 1992 Accession of Papers and Photographs, 1942-1984 consists of correspondence, publications, notes, press releases, schedules, and photographs collected by Patrick J. Kelleher over the course of his directorship of the Princeton University Art Museum. Also included are syllabi and course materials from a museology seminar Kelleher taught, and awards received from other museums and institutions.

Patrick J. Kelleher was the Director of the Princeton University Art Museum from 1962-1973. Consists of correspondence, publications, notes, press releases, schedules, and photographs collected by Patrick J. Kelleher over the course of his directorship of the Princeton University Art Museum.

Other materials consist of an initial project proposal, annual reports, directives on handling of materials, typography, and editing procedures, and some photographs.

Miscellaneous negatives were found loose, outside of the envelopes labeled by J. Wayman Williams. Some of these negatives may have belonged with the "Activities" or "Public Relations" groups. They imclude images of laboratory equipment, maps of Princeton's main campus, cartoon tigers with a "P", Williams' Christmas greetings for 1948, a dance in front of a bandstand reading "Prince Tiger"; various groups of people, airplanes flying in formation, people at a stadium, football players posing, ice skaters in skirts, graduation ceremonies, tennis courts, and more.

Herman Struve Hensel (1901-1991) was an international lawyer. This collection consists of two scrapbooks containing clippings, correspondence, press releases, photographs, articles and speeches relating to Hensel's service as assistant secretary of the Navy and to the Army-McCarthy Hearings.

Consists of copies of diaries kept by Blom and his wife, Gertrude Duby Blom, from 1943 to 1959, while searching for Maya ruins in Chiapas, Mexico, in 14 volumes.

Includes twenty letters and a secretarial note from T.S. Eliot. There is also a letter from L. Melton with an enclosure that is a two-page typed manuscript of a blurb written by T.S. Eliot for Mayer's Sociology of Film (1946).

Consists of an author file kept by the British publishing house Faber and Faber and editor T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) on Jacob Peter Mayer (1903–1992), a German-born scholar of Alexis de Tocqueville, Karl Marx, and Max Weber and professor at the University of Reading. There are letters from T. S. Eliot and other Faber and Faber editors to Mayer, as well as related contracts, publication lists, publishers' catalogs, and book proposals.

Includes handwritten and typed drafts of and notes relating to various works, including books, scripts, short stories, music, articles and essays, and poetry, several of which Behan drafted during his time in Mountjoy Prison and Curragh Camp. Of special note are three manuscripts for Borstal Boy, including two substantial annotated typescripts and a copybook containing what appears to be the earliest preparatory draft written in Mountjoy Prison, Dublin, in 1948, as well as notes in Irish relating to the work. Originally established in 1912 as the Self-Help Bureau, the Office of Career Services is an organizational unit of the Office of the Vice President for Campus Life that provides career resources and programming for both undergraduate and graduate students. The records include three bound volumes of annual reports from the Princeton University Office of Career Services spanning the years 1943 to 1977. Topics covered include alumni appointments, work-study, study services and academic support.

John Foster Dulles (1888-1959), was a graduate of the Princeton Class of 1908 who served as Secretary of State of the United States for President Dwight D. Eisenhower. The John Foster Dulles Collection consists of a small group of materials documenting Dulles' connection to Princeton, including materials on his undergraduate career and the Dulles Library.

Horton Davies was a Princeton University professor of religion; his wife, Marie-Helene Davies, is author of LAUGHTER IN A GENEVAN GOWN: THE WORKS OF FREDERICK BUECHNER, 1970-1980 (1983). Consists of papers relating to the novelist Frederick Buechner (Princeton Class of 1947) collected or created by Davies.

Although relatively small, the series, arranged alphabetically, contains items from Schechner's school years, including his scrapbook from his tenure at Cornell University's newspaper, The Daily Sun. Of special interest is a draft of The Engleburt Stories (written in collaboration with his son Sam), as well as a radio play Schechner performed and directed while still in high school.

The material in this collection pertains not only to an individual, Richard Schechner, but also to TDR, The Drama Review, a scholarly journal concerned with the broad range of performance in society and in the arts. Schechner, a renowned scholar, director, writer, and educator, edited The Drama Review from 1962-1969 and again from 1986 to the present date. Particularly in the 1960s, and again in the 1990s, both Schechner and TDR challenged traditional, prevailing ideas about theater-what it is, how it should be presented, and the ritual and ideals behind it. Schechner argued for thinking of "performance" as an all-encompassing genre with "theater" as one of its sub-categories. He is widely recognized as the founder of "performance studies" as an academic discipline. In the process of working out what performance studies is, Schechner and his colleagues at New York University created new ideas and new ways of thinking that still affect today's world of performance, theater, dance, and the social sciences. As "the journal of performance studies," TDR did much to shape the new discipline.

Paul R. Sweet (1907-2003) was a political intelligence officer for the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) in the Research and Analysis (R and A) branch during World War II. He later worked for the U.S. State Department and was a history professor. This collection documents Sweet's professional life, especially his service in the OSS and his teaching career. The collection also contains family correspondence.

This collection consists of flyers, pamphlets, and serials concerning the political process and society in Argentina. The material in the elections sections is comprised primarily of propaganda from the 2001 legislative elections and 2003 presidential elections in Argentina.

Series 4, General, 1944-2012 reflects Becker's personal activities. Becker used his financial and analytical skills throughout his career. He created a small file of his position papers, included are documents for the Investment Bankers Association of America, John J. Gilhooley during his bid for New York City Comptroller in 1961, and the Critical Issues Council directed by Milton Eisenhower. Some of these position papers can be found elsewhere in the series, for example the paper on the position of comptroller is found in the portfolio assembled by Becker and within the John Gilhooley correspondence. Other writings in this series include the foreign press reviews from Becker's Army service in the mid-1950s, and a manuscript entitled "Selling Municipal Bonds."

The Eugene M. Becker Papers consist primarily of planning documents, position papers, articles, addresses, correspondence, and scrapbooks which document Becker's career in public service as Budget Director of New York City under Mayor John Lindsay; Assistant Secretary of the United States Army during the Johnson and Nixon administrations; and Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Mentor Group, a research institute focusing on constitutional, legal-economic comparative studies and sponsor of the Forum for US-EU Legal-Economic Affairs, the Forum for Russian Legal-Economic Affairs, and the Central European Forum for Legal-Economic Affairs.
