May 2008 Accession consists of correspondence between family members prior to and following Allen Macy Dulles' injury as a Marine lieutenant in the Korean War. Prior to the injury, the correspondence documents Dulles's education and activities at primary school, Phillips Exeter Academy, Princeton University and Oxford University. Following the injury, materials include correspondence to and from Allen Macy Dulles, professional and personal correspondence of Allen Welsh Dulles and the Dulles family, correspondence with doctors regarding Dulles' physical condition, and military records including a citation for the Silver Star Medal which Dulles earned for his wartime leadership and bravery.

Allen Macy Dulles, son of Clover Todd and Allen Welsh Dulles, was a student of history and politics with plans for a career in public service until he sustained a serious injury in the Korean War. The collection consists of correspondence between family members prior to and following Allen Macy Dulles' injury as a Marine lieutenant in the Korean War.

This accession of materials includes drafts of poems and prose writings, correspondence, writings of others on the subject of Reina María Rodríguez, and some printed material and ephemera. Of special note is the group of eight letters from the Cuban writer Antonio José Ponte to Rodríguez, sent between 1988-1990.

This file group includes drafts, excerpts, addenda, and final versions of various writings by Pacheco, including poetry, short stories, scripts, screenplays, essays, articles, translations, and others. Also included are writings by other authors, including translations of Pacheco's works. A large number of writings were undated, untitled, unattributed, and in many cases, drafts and fragments mixed together, which were impossible to separate and identify given the disorganized state of the material upon receipt.

This file group consists of correspondence from various colleagues, publishers, family, and friends. Frequent and notable names found throughout the correspondence include Octavio Paz, Juan Vicente Melo, Carlos Fuentes, José Miguel Oviedo, Sergio Galindo, Félix Grande, Guillermo Cabrera Infante, Homero Aridjis, Carlos Monsivaís, Rosario Castellanos, José Bianco, Vicente Rojo, Hugo J. Verani (University of California, Davis), Saúl Sosnowski (University of Maryland at College Park), Juan Armando Epple (University of Oregon), Bruno Arcudi (State University of New York at Buffalo), Manuel Andújar (Alianza Editorial), Mario Muchnik (Muchnik Editores and Ariel/Seix Barral Editoriales), Fernando Vidal Buzzi (Editorial Sudamericana), and many others. Given the disorganized state of the material upon receipt in the repository, the correspondence has been arranged chronologically (by decades), and only the correspondence that arrived in groupings or was easily identified has been separated, including that of Octavio Paz, Juan Vicente Melo, Carlos Fuentes, José Miguel Oviedo, Sergio Galindo, Bruno Arcudi, and the family correspondence, chiefly Pacheco´s wife, daughters, and mother.

Consists of a variety of printed materials, including periodicals, newspaper clippings, articles, publications, broadsides, and other materials.

Series 1 includes a circulating run of the Annual Reports to the President.

The President of the University is charged with the general supervision of the interests of the University and with special oversight of the departments of instruction. This collection consists of the collected reports to the President prepared annually by each academic department and administrative office.

Series 2 is a duplicate run of the Annual Reports to the President.

Consists of thirteen notebooks compiled by American biographer Allison Williams Bunkley while in South America doing research for his book The Life of Sarmiento (1952).

The 2015 accession comprises an additional 12.4 linear feet of research, draft, and publishing materials related to Bell's works, The Year of Silence, Behind the Moon, Devil's Dream, The Color of Night, Soldier's Joy, Charm City, Red Stick, Zig Zag Wanderer, Lavoisier in the Year One, Soul in a Bottle, and Toussaint Before the Spirits, as well as additional correspondence from 2002 to 2011 and subject files from 1995 to 2014.

Madison Smartt Bell (1957-) is an American novelist best known for his trilogy of novels about Toussaint Louverture and the Haitian Revolution, published between 1995 and 2004. His papers consist of writings, personal and professional correspondence, family documents, memorandum books, printed materials, and subject files, including drafts, galleys, and proofs for his novels, short stories, and other writings.

Eugene W. Sloan served as Assistant Secretary to the Treasury (beginning in 1935) and was the creator and first administrator of the United States Savings Bond program. Consists of fourteen scrapbooks compiled by Sloan. Two scrapbooks, which Sloan compiled while Executive Director of the War Savings Staff.

Consists of a collection of thirty-one miscellaneous documents concerning the incarceration of Japanese Americans by the United States government during World War II at the Tule Lake Relocation Center (later Tule Lake Segregation Center) and other American concentration camps. Most of the materials in this collection relate to a 1943 loyalty questionnaire and the resulting segregation at Tule Lake of those labeled as "disloyal," which led to thousands of incarcerated Japanese Americans deciding to renounce their U.S. citizenship and apply for repatriation to Japan. Materials document resistance efforts by organized groups, such as Sokuji Kikoku Hoshi-dan, as well as individual acts of resistance by incarcerees.

Consists primarily of several versions, reflecting the printing stages, of Backbone of the Herring (1941), Curtis Bok's fictionalized look at courtroom justice seen through the eyes of a judge. Bok was a common pleas court judge in Pennsylavnia at the time.
