Stephen Ailes Papers, 1946-1996
Stephen C. Ailes '33 was an attorney who served as Undersecretary of the Army, and later Secretary of the U.S. Army, from 1961-1965. The Stephen Ailes papers consist of alphabetical correspondence, chronological files, speeches, reading files, photographs, and other materials related to his work as counsel to the American Economic Mission to Greece, his time as Undersecretary and later Secretary of the Army, and his time on the Foreign Intelligence Advisory and Intelligence Oversight Boards.
