Brooke R. Stoddard, Class of 2005 is a member of the University Press Club (UPC), who wrote a senior thesis about the history of the UPC in 2005. The collection contains correspondence and interviews with Princeton UPC alumni that Stoddard used for his research, as well as copies of clippings and printed materials.

The collection consists of personal papers of Kimon Friar, one of the first and most prolific translators of modern Greek poetry into English. His work helped bring modern Greek literature to the attention of the international public.

This collection contains letters, cards, photographs and clippings from Lana Peters (Svetlana Alliluyeva) to her friend Mildred Harford. After defecting from the Soviet Union, Peters lived a transitory life in the United States, at one point denouncing the west and returning to the USSR, and eventually retunring to the United States, where she died in 2011.

Joseph Coy Green (Princeton Class of 1908) served in a number of State Department positions, including his appointment as special representative to the International Institute of Agriculture in Rome (1931), chairman of the Armaments Commission (1944-1946), member of the U.S. Mission to observe the elections in Greece (1946), director of the Foreign Service Board of Examiners, and ambassador to Jordan (1952-1953). Included in this collection are correspondence, journals, scrapbooks, diaries, reports, notes, and printed matter.

Graduate work in a formal sense emerged at Princeton in the 1870s when President James McCosh added new faculty and graduate fellowships. This collection consists of theses submitted toward the fulfillment of requirements for master's degrees at Princeton University.

Consists primarily of correspondence, travel diaries, and photographs of former Princeton University comparative literature professor Clarence Brown (1929-2015) relating primarily to his scholarship on Russian writers Osip Emilyevich Mandelstam (1891-1938) and Nadezhda Mandelstam (1899-1980). Correspondence with writer and illustrator Guy Davenport as well as with poet W. S. Merwin, Princeton Class of 1948, is also included.

Consists primarily of material relating to Ohio farmer Luzern Humphrey's overland journey from Kanesville, Iowa, to the Oregon Territory in 1852, his life there through 1853, and his return to Iowa in 1854, including his journal and 51 letters to his wife in Ohio. The Records of the Franklin Book Programs document the activities of the organization from its inception in 1952 to its dissolution in 1978. For 26 years, Franklin assisted developing countries in the creation, production, distribution, and use of books and other educational materials. Its efforts were based on the premise that through wider and improved education, underdeveloped nations could better utilize their human resources to help eliminate hunger, poverty, overpopulation, and economic paralysis.

The Derso and Kelen Collection consists of correspondence, writings, published material, and over 900 cartoons and caricatures in varying media ranging from pencil sketches and ink drawings to richly-hued watercolors and limited edition lithographic portfolios created by the Hungarian caricaturists and political satirists Alois Derso and Emery Kelen. The vast majority of the works were produced between 1920 and 1950, the active period of collaboration between Derso and Kelen.

Consists of the original poems and essays composed for the special spring 1994 issue of the Princeton University Library Chronicle on contemporary American poetry.

John Longworth Swift (1922-2013) was senior engineer and vice president of the Development and Resources Corporation (D and R). The majority of the collection pertains to Swift's work for D and R, especially his supervision of the Dez Dam project in the Khuzestan region of Iran.

Jerome Karabel is an American sociologist known for his research on university admissions policies. Consists of materials compiled by Jerome Karabel while researching for his 2005 book The Chosen: The Hidden History of Admission and Exclusion at Harvard, Yale, and Princeton. The papers contain correspondence, memoranda, reports, and other documents.

Consists of several hundred print photographs (most are captioned) primarily from various French news outlets and agencies documenting people and events of numerous countries and geographic regions spanning the mid to late 20th century.

From the time of the department's institution in 1924, history has typically been one of Princeton's most popular undergraduate concentrations, with the Department of History offering 40 or more undergraduate courses each year. The records consis of subject and faculty files, correspondence, departmental budgets, course syllabi, as well as records from several special projects.

The Student Photograph Albums Series of the Historical Photograph Collection (HPC) contains 180 photographic albums created by Princeton University students. These albums, along with the other photograph collections in the University Archives, help document the experiences of students, faculty, and staff at Princeton University. The albums date from 1851 to 1995, although the bulk date from the 1860s to the 1910s. New accessions are added regularly to the collection.

The Historical Photograph Collection: Alumni Series consists of formal portraits of Princeton University alumni arranged chronologically by class year.

Helmut Meyer was a German-born American citizen who fought for the United States in World War II and founded the Helmut Meyer Literary Agency in New York City. The collection contains files from the Helmut Meyer Literary Agency, propaganda from both the Allies and the Axis from World War II, manuscripts of Meyer's own work, and correspondence from friends and clients.

Consists of librarian Charles Haynes McMullen's data cards (numbering about 10,000) that McMullen compiled for his publication American Libraries before 1876 (2000).

The Bureau of Alumni Records was established in January 1949 as an outgrowth of the records office maintained by the Graduate Council, the governing body of the Princeton University Alumni Association. The collection consists of public files of former graduate students of Princeton University.

The records consist of the academic files of former graduate students of Princeton University. The information contained in each file varies greatly but can include grades cards, Graduate School applications, a photograph of the student, letters of recommendation, as well as biographical information, lists of achievements, news clippings, and obituaries. The General Manuscripts Collection consists of manuscripts and small collections of papers and records which are related in some way to the history of Princeton University. While most documents in the General Manuscripts collection were produced by alumni or student organizations, there are several documents produced by trustees, faculty, and other members of the University community.

Don Oberdorfer is a member of the Princeton class of 1952 and was a well-regarded political correspondent with the Washington Post for 25 years. Consists of notes and photocopies of articles used as research materials for Princeton University: The First 250 Years (1995).

The Dillon Gym Library was housed in Dillon Gym, which opened in 1947. Dillon Gym is now mainly used as the headquarters for the Campus Recreation program, and includes various administrative and varsity athletic coaches' offices. The majority of the collection is made up of published material such as athletic handbooks, rule guides and technique charts; athletic organization convention and conference reports; and university publications (sports schedules and programs, admissions material, faculty, staff, and alumni guides and fundraising publications). The collection contains several areas of focus—notably, material on women's sports at Princeton.

These pamphlets were collected by the Princeton University Library starting from the outbreak of World War I. The collection contains pamphlets published in Europe during and immediately after World War I. They cover a broad range of topics including the economy, the press, the military, arms, territorial disputes, and others. The collection also includes speeches, sermons, bulletins, calendars, and songbooks.

This collection consists of seven research reports written in the 1960s by faculty in the Department of Sociology.

The Department of Psychology dates from 1893, but was not officially established as an independent department until 1920. This collection includes group portraits and portraits of deparment faculty as well as some photos of individuals and locations that may not be Princeton-related.

The Department of Politics at Princeton University is one of the University's largest academic departments, offering undergraduate and graduate courses touching on nearly every aspect of the discipline of political science. The Department of Politics records document the activities of the Department of Politics and its faculty from the time of its founding in 1924 until the mid-1960s, and contain correspondence, course syllabi and notes, examinations, and subject files.

The Department of Classics at Princeton University offers courses, both in English and in the original languages, that treat the whole range of ancient culture, from its mythology to its philosophy, law, and literature. The Art and Archaeology Department is one of the University's most distinguished academic departments, responsible for the education of students on the graduate and undergraduate level as well as the administration of the Princeton Art Museum. This collection consists of the records of the Department of Art and Archaeology, which include advisory council minutes; faculty files; gift records; correspondence; recommendations; project files; course lists; historical documents; and lists of images used in classes.

The Department of African American Studies at Princeton University is an academic department of Princeton University. The records consist of course proposals and descriptions, proposals for a post-doctoral program, and meeting minutes and correspondence of the interdepartmental committee as well as past versions of the department's website.

Consists of various literature, ephemera, correspondence of, and a video interview with, Princeton alumni and anti-war activist David Schankler '71 concerning the antiwar movement of the period 1967-1971 broadly as well as related events and activities at Princeton University while he was a student.

Critical Legal Studies was both a scholarly enterprise and a social movement within legal education, questioning the justice of law for people outside of existing power structures. The Critical Legal Studies Records represent the beginning of a Princeton University Library initiative to collect material such as correspondence, memos, newsletters, meeting programs, posters, and other materials that document the movement.

Angus Deaton, born 1945 in Edinburgh, Scotland, is an economist and academic. This collection features records from Deaton's tenure at the Princeton University Department of Economics with the bulk of records from 1983-2000.
