Andrews Circulating Library and Booksellers was a bookstore, publisher, and subscription library in London in the early to mid-19th century. Consists of an archive of 113 original notes and letters largely composed by British aristocrats or their personal secretaries and addressed to Messrs. Andrews, Booksellers, at 167 New Bond Street, requesting or returning books from the circulating library. The collection contains single letters addressed to Mr. Lodge, Mr. Rooke, and Messrs. Harding. The correspondence also includes requests for stationery, music, and the purchase of new books.

Educated in California and at Harvard, Willard Huntington Wright became editor of The Smart Set (1913-1914). After suffering a serious illness in 1925, he turned to writing detective novels under the pseudonym of "S. S. Van Dine". His papers consist of scrapbooks reflecting the professional and private life of Van Dine, including articles by and about him (1926-1930), reviews of his books, motion pictures, and radio plays, his literary and art criticism, and miscellaneous and general notes (1926-1937).

The J. M. Langford Correspondence consists of letters received by J. M. (Joseph Munt) Langford from an assortment of English authors and noblemen, as well as the indenture for Langford's apprenticeship as a stationer. Langford was born in 1809, the son of John Langford, a farmer in Wallingford, County of Berks, England. In 1825, Langford began a seven-year stationer's apprentice to James Nesbit, for which his brother paid £250. Later, Langford became the trusted assistant to John Blackwood, the head of William Blackwood and Sons publishing and the editor of Blackwood's Magazine. He died in 1884.

The Bache and Wistar Family Collection consists of correspondence between several members of the Bache and Wistar families of Philadelphia, Pa.

Ford Madox Ford was a noted British author, poet, and editor. This collection consists of selected manuscripts and correspondence of Ford.

Consists primarily of United States Army officer George E. Albee's correspondence along with other papers, including a diary documenting his service with the 41st Infantry Regiment during the Indian Wars of 1869, which earned him the Medal of Honor. Some research files on Albee and his antiquean arms collection are also included.

Charles Ruas is an American author, interviewer, editor, literary and art critic, and French translator, who served as the Director of the Drama and Literature Department for New York's Pacifica radio station WBAI-FM in the late 1970s and interviewed writers for radio broadcast and print, including Toni Morrison, Michel Foucault, Carlos Fuentes, Eudora Welty, Susan Sontag, Truman Capote, Buckminster Fuller, Andy Warhol, Mario Vargas Llosa, and others. Included are photographs and documents on Allen Ginsberg and William Burroughs, the St. Marks poetry project, and avant-garde artists and performers. The papers include transcripts and audiocassette tapes of Ruas's interviews with authors and artists, as well as typescripts and galleys of work by writers Ruas edited, including Marguerite Young, and some related photographs, notes, recordings, and correspondence. There are also some translations and other writings by Charles Ruas, as well as a collection of family photographs and papers documenting the history of his family in Tianjin, China, from the 1860s through the mid-20th century.

Consists of personal papers of Nikos Stangos, a prolific Modern Greek poet and one of the most influential figures in British art publishing. For more than 30 years he was responsible for some of the most important art books of the late 20th century. As a result, in his modest way, he helped shape the discipline of art history in Britain and the United States.

The Nancy Crawshaw Papers contains the correspondence, photographs, and writings of Nancy Crawshaw, as well as copies of her published work. Her writings include work on her book The Cyprus Revolt (1978), lectures, broadcasts and articles from her career as a journalist, and her notes and other writings.

Achilleas Antoniades (1947-) is a career diplomat who served as Ambassador for the Republic of Cyprus to the Czech Republic from 2007 to 2009. The files consist of his documents, notes, minutes of meetings, analytical reports, and maps, regarding the political situation in Cyprus from the late 1950s through 2009.

The Giōrgos Vakalo Papers consists primarily of papers by and relating to the Greek painter and stage designer George Vakalo (1902-1991). Included are autograph and typed manuscripts of Vakalo's notes, talks, articles, interviews, TV or radio productions, artwork, as well as his correspondence, notebooks, photographs, and printed matter, such as exhibition art catalogs, magazines, and clippings. Of particular importance are the hundreds pieces of his artwork in a variety of media (ink, pencil, watercolor, conté crayon, engravings) and on a variety of supports (paper, carton, and canvas).

The Thomas Baird Papers consists of the working and personal papers, primarily manuscripts, of the American educator and author Thomas Baird (1923-1990). Also included, and related to both his published and unpublished works, are idea files, notes, writing journals, correspondence with his publishers and editors, and reviews. Furthermore, the collection contains the following materials that encompass Baird's adult life: talks, addresses, and lectures; general, family and travel correspondence; diaries; personal journals; interviews; documents; photographs and audio recordings.

George Augustus Sala was a nineteenth-century English journalist, artist, book illustrator, traveler, humorist, and novelist. The collection contains approximately 300 letters written to Sala by about 200 different people over the course of 40 years. Among the correspondents are prominent authors, journalists, artists, nobility, philanthropists, and other notables.

Consists primarily of correspondence (1959-1962) of English poet Edith Sitwell.

Consists of papers of the notable American statesman and attorney William Pinkney, including writings, political and diplomatic correspondence from his time as minister to Great Britain and Russia, legal notes, deeds, bookplates, and other assorted papers. The collection also contains some papers from his grandson, William Pinkney Whyte, and a notebook from Joseph White, a Pinkney relative.

The collection contains the manuscripts of composer and educator Roger Sessions. It includes compositions reflecting his use of the 12-tone system of composition and ranging from exercises and studies to concertos, sonatas, operas ("Lancelot and Elaine" and "Montezuma"), and symphonies (1 through 9). Also included are miscellaneous musical works such as divertimenti, nocturnes, chorale studies, quintets, and cantatas along with the manuscripts for two prose works.

Consists of personal papers of Kaiē Tsitselē, Greek author and translator, who contributed to the dissemination of the Modern Greek literature outside Greece. The collection consists of manuscripts of some of Tsitselē's novels, short stories, radio scripts, and book reviews along with her English translations of Greek works. Correspondence with her friends and colleagues completes the collection.

Susanna Moore is an American novelist. Her papers consist of drafts of novels and nonfiction books, correspondence with writers and artists, teaching materials from her time spent teaching incarcerated writers and Princeton undergraduates, photographs, and audiovisual material.

The Julio Cortázar Papers consists of the manuscripts, notes, and notebooks of the Argentine novelist and short story writer Julio Cortázar (1914-1984). These papers primarily contain unpublished prose and poetry, as well as some manuscripts of published materials. Though Cortázar is not generally thought of as a poet, poetry is heavily represented in the collection, including a notebook of poems he wrote at the age of 12 (1927). There are also Spanish translations of some of Jean Cocteau's poetry, and lecture notes from two courses that Cortázar taught. Furthermore, the papers contain a small selection of quotations collected from the work of others, and notebooks that include an assortment of prose, poetry, and notes.

Morris "Moe" Berg (1902-1972) was a Major League Baseball player, linguist, and lawyer who became a spy in World War II. The papers are comprised of correspondence, notes, photographs, and miscellaneous and printed materials covering all aspects of his life and work, but relating primarily to Berg's work with multiple government agencies.
