The Princeton Footnotes is an all-male a cappella group at Princeton University that was founded in 1959. The organization that became the Footnotes emerged as a dispute within the Glee Club, which resulted in twelve of the Club's members leaving the Club to form a separate group, the Prospectors. The Princeton Footnotes Records consists primarily of digitized recordings of former Footnotes albums released between 1961 and 1987.

Princeton University was a participant in the first intercollegiate football game in America in 1869. Since then, the University has maintained a varsity football team, competing each season against other colleges in the Ivy League Athletic Conference, including traditional rival Yale. The collection consists of film reels documenting Princeton varsity football games between 1935 and 1990, as well as video of the 2012 season.

D. Hugh Peniston graduated from Princeton University in 1941. This collection includes his course notes and coursework along with his letters home during his undergraduate years.

Consists of Pluto Press publisher files produced by scholars writing about the conflicts of the Middle East, containing 164 publisher's files for 113 books. Pluto Press is a British independent book publisher founded in 1969 and is known for being a radical political publishing house that focuses on contemporary issues. Collection includes correspondence between authors and publishers, publishing contracts, financial projects, press releases, author questionnaires, chapter drafts, and cover designs. The collection spans the years 1982-2017, with the bulk of materials from 1997 to 2010.

The Photographs, Drafts and Publications series contains slides and photographs; drafts of essays by both Elizabeth Benson and Gillett Griffin; and several published items such as flyers and newsletters or journals.

The records of the Physics Department document the scientific and teaching activities of Princeton University physicists from 1909 to 1962. While routine activities such as the hiring of faculty and the education of graduate and undergraduate students are recorded, these records also detail the Department's activities in early studies of theoretical physics, as well as its participation in World War II research activities. There is also a small amount of material that documents Milton White's efforts toward builing the cyclotron (1936).

Undated photographs taken by Lloyd Cotsen all over the world on various subjects. Identified places include Japan, Italy, and the American Southwest. Black and white, color, negatives, and proof sheet photographs are included; some are mounted and matted.

Materials included are related to Cotsen's time working at Neutrogena. Items include Cotsen's personal and business effects, photo albums, Neutrogena souvenirs and ephemera, awards and certificates given to Cotsen, and video cassettes related to the business. Material also includes documents related to Cotsen's contributions to Neutrogena's art collections and exhibitions as well as inventories of art stored at the Neutrogena offices (including documents related to art that Cotsen bought from Nuetrogena and added to his private collection after Johnson and Johnson bought Nuetrogrena in 1994).

The material included documents Cotsen's collection practices, exhibitions of his collection material, the subsequent donation of his collections, and philanthropic contributions to various organizations. The bulk of the material is related to the traveling exhibtion "Masterworks of Form and Texture: Japanese Baskets from the Lloyd Cotsen Collection" and documents related to the Cotsen Textile Traces Study Collection.

Approximately 65 photographs, mostly b/w. Mostly of Máire Mhac an tSaoi and her husband, Conor Cruise O'Brien, on their wedding day, at functions, with her parents. Also includes images of Mhac an tSaoi in Madrid. Also two of his daughter, Kate Cruise O'Brien.

Many of the photographs were used in Máire Mhac an tSaoi's memoir, The Same Age as the State (O'Brien Press, Dublin, 2003). Also includes an album of photographs of Mhac an tSaoi as a young child, with her parents, siblings and maternal family (circa 1922-1930s). There are also several photographs of Mhac an tSaoi during her time in Paris, directly after World War II, and of her first diplomatic posting at the Irish Embassy in Madrid, several of which show her being presented to General Franco. Others feature her husband Conor Cruise O'Brien.

Philip Anderson was a condensed-matter theorist, Professor Emeritus of Physics at Princeton University, and Nobel laureate. This collection consists primarily of Anderson's research files, which include his article and book drafts, grant files, notes, memos and correspondence, a bound run of his talks and papers, and his research diaries and notebooks. To a lesser extent, the collection contains Nobel Prize nomination applications, recommendation letters, photographic prints, and ephemera.

Peter D. Bell was a humantitarian and specialist in Latin American relations who served as president of the NGO CARE USA from 1995-2006. He was also a founder of the Inter-American Dialogue, as well as deputy undersecreatary of Health, Education, and Welfare during the Carter administration. The Peter D. Bell Papers consist of professional correspondence, memoranda, reports, and chronological files from his career with particular focus on Bell's tenure at the Ford Foundation and time spent in Brazil and Chile.

The digital files contain: a number of videos documenting lectures, speeches, television appearances, promotional CARE videos, and staff appreciation events filmed on Bell's departure from CARE; email inboxes; photographs of trips and events; written speeches; various other professional and administrative files from Bell's computers.

Consists of Merchant's manuscript drafts, correspondence, photographs, inscribed books, and other materials relating to the Greek poet Helenē Vakalo (1921-2001), and his English translation of Genealogia. The collection also contains writings by Giannēs Ritsos, Kimon Friar, and materials of other authors and publishers.

Consists of one email printout from Miltos Frangopoulos and letters from the publishers, John Stathatos (Oxus Press) and W.S. Merwin. Paul Merchant's handwritten note found in the file states: "Note from W.S. Marwin after a dinner with him and Dorothy Stafford (William Stafford's widow), when we talked about his friends, Stafford and Ted Hughes, and about Ritsos, whom he admired."

This file group consists of correspondence from poets, writers, editors and publishers, including Helenē Vakalo, Giannēs Ritsos, Kimon Friar and Peter Dent.

The Office of the Vice President for Finance and Treasurer is the administrative office at Princeton University responsible for overseeing the university's budget, procurement services, tax compliance, risk management, and other general, non-investment related fiduciary responsibilities. The records in this collection primarily document the activities of three consecutive administrators who held the position of vice president for finance, either solely or in combination with the roles of treasurer and vice president for administration: Paul B. Firstenberg (1972-1976), Carl W. Schafer (1976-1987), and Richard R. Spies (1988-2001). Also included are the records of Laurel B. Harvey, who served as assistant vice president for finance and administration under Schafer and Spies.

The Office of the Executive Vice President was created by the Board of Trustees in 2005 to administer several existing offices, including campus life, human resources, public safety, and facilities among others. The records consist primarily of correspondence documenting the office's interactions with other administrative offices, academic departments, and advisory councils.
