This collection consists of works, lecture note cards, correspondence, an audio tape, and printed matter of American journalist and publicist Glen C. H. Perry (Princeton Class of 1926).

The Association of Hiroshima University for Sending Atomic-bombed Roof Tiles distributes the tiles in an effort to perpetuate awareness of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and to oppose the use and proliferation of nuclear weapons. The collection includes seven atomic-bombed roof tiles; photographs of the location where the roof tiles were recovered; booklets and pamphlets on the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki; and information and correspondence from Hiroshima University.

These folders contain undated letters that were later identified and given approximate dates. Folder 1 contains the following groupings: seventeen letters, circa 1945-1949 (all letters beginning with "Chère Violette Leduc"); twenty-three "rendez-vous" Letters, circa 1949-1971 (beginning "Chère Violette" and "Ma chère Violette"), which are short letters making appointments to meet at cafes or at Beauvoir's home; and two undated letters. Folder 2 contains a letter from Gary, Indiana (circa August 11th, 1950) discussing Nelson Algren's new house in Michigan; a letter from Norway (circa July 1951); two letters about Ravages (May 1954); a letter from England (circa 1959) mentioning "Coriolan;" a letter and prière d'insérer (circa 1960) related to Leduc's Tresors à Prendre; a letter from Cuba (circa March 4, 1960); four letters (circa 1964) about La Batarde ; one letter (circa 1965) with a title suggestion for La Femme au (petit) renard; thirteen letters from Italy (circa 1952-1963); and thirteen letters to Faucon (circa 1961-1972).

Most correspondence is undated, but in many cases, dates can be found on envelopes.

Consists of nearly 300 letters from Simone de Beauvoir to Violette Leduc documenting their literary friendship spanning four decades, along with 23 notebooks containing manuscript drafts of Leduc's autobiography, La Bâtarde (1964).

Includes obituaries, memorials, newspaper clippings, issue of the Princeton Alumni Weekly, vol. XXIII. no. 24 (1923), and four copies of Erwin Panofksy's printed biography.

Includes official department portraits and photographs of Morey using the Index of Christian Art and at art gallery shows. Also includes photographs of Charles Rufus Morey at cultural events and meetings in Rome, Italy, including at the American Embassy in Rome.

Contains miscellaneous photographic material including negatives and prints, some mounted, most reproduced from publications or assemblages of original shots, most unlabeled but encompassing trips to the Middle East, Syria, Turkey, Jordan and objects in European museum collections.

Includes Keeley's notes on American literature (background for senior thesis and final exams), his general Princeton University reading notes, and his notes on Constantine P. Cavafy.

Includes a beaded child's vest, a wallet, a handkerchief, six small framed drawings of women in Greek costume, a small amount of Syrian currency, a Class of 1948 P-rade button, and other small objects and momentos that Edmund Keeley collected.

Series 5: Miscellaneous Materials of Unknown Origins, circa 1913-1971 consists of previously unprocessed materials whose origins prior to their appearance in the University Archives are unknown, but which appear to be related to the Princeton University Department of Physics. It includes several files on the career of Eugene Paul Wigner, some reprints related to Anne Kenny, photographs of Palmer Laboratory researchers, two photographs of faculty with Albert Einstein, and a roll of microfilm of minutes and other materials.

Photographs donated in January, 2019 by Deirdre (Randall) Petree, who was Fischer's editorial researcher between 1959 annd 1971.

The Arcadio Díaz Quiñones Papers consists chiefly of manuscripts and correspondence of the Puerto Rican professor of Spanish and Portuguese Languages and Cultures at Princeton University, Arcadio Díaz Quiñones (1940-), as well as a selection of manuscripts by others. The collection focuses on Puerto Rican and Cuban literature, but also provides insight into the literature and politics of other parts of Latin America.

This series consists of manuscripts by various authors sent to Díaz Quiñones for criticism, along with some accompanying printed matter. Most of the individuals represented are major Puerto Rican writers and have a following elsewhere in Latin America. The sub-series within this series are organized by accession, with miscellaneous material located at the end.

Livingston T. Merchant was a diplomat and high-ranking government official. This collection consists of Merchant's papers, including correspondence, articles, notes, speeches, statements, interviews, clippings, printed matter, and personal papers.

Francis Catlin was a member of the Princeton University Class of 1947. The collection contains materials distributed at the 1947 Bicentennial Convocation celebrating Princeton University's 200th anniversary.

George Hafstad was a plant pathologist and a field technician with the U.S. Rubber Development Corporation in Brazil from 1943 to 1945. The George E. Hafstad Papers include a diary, several technician reports, and a folder of photographs from Hafstad's time as a field technician with the U.S. Rubber Development Corporation Amazon Division.

This folder contains photoraphs and photography contact sheets of the Forrestal Campus before and after its 1951 dedication. Included are photographs of the Rockefeller Medical Center grounds on which the Forrestal Campus was built, buildings in which Project Matterhorn experiments were conducted, the construction of the Forrestal Campus, the dedication of the Forrestal Campus, the Plasma Physics Laboratory, the external proton beam building, the Princeton-Penn Accelerator, the chemical kinetics section, and an architectural rendering of the Tokamak Fusion Test Reactor (TFTR). Also included are photographs of the Cyclotron running schedule in Jadwin Hall and the Biochemical Sciences Laboratory (Hoyt). Photographs of the following individuals are included: Queen Elizabeth II (?), a bust of Secretary of Defense James Forrestal, Secretary of Defense Robert Lovett, Lewis Strauss, Peter Forrestal, Michael Forrestal, Dodds, Governor Alfred Driscoll, Assistant Secretary of Energy Robert D. The photographs in this folder focus mainly on Einstein at the Institute of Advanced Studies in Princeton, as well as other physicists at IAS. Included are photographs of the grounds of IAS, mainly Fuld Hall. The images of Einstein range from his youth to the age of 72. There are photographs of Einstein's daily life and a photograph of his desk (Einstein's Desk) and Einstein on a bicycle. Also included are the image of Einstein and David Ben-Gurion on the Einsteins' lawn in Princeton, as well as a photograph of Einstein on a bike in front of his home in Santa Barbara. Other physicists in these photographs include: David Ben Gurian,Arnold Toynbee, Gerald Clemence, Eugene Wigner, Kurt Godel, Rudolf Ladenberg, Niels Bohr, J. This folder contains photographs and photography contact sheets of various administrative buildings on Princeton's campus. Included are photographs of New South, West College (and the Admissions Office), Stanhope, Walker Hall, 1937 Hall, the Infirmary, and Dodge-Osborn Hall.

This subseries contains personal and travel photographs of Félix Candela, often with his family, including early black-and-white photographs, contemporary color photographs, occasional negatives and slides, and several photograph albums. Early photographs albums from the 1920s-1940s show Candela as a young athlete during his school days in Spain, as well as his trips throughout Spain and Mexico with his first wife, Eladia Martín, and their family. Prior to the Spanish Civil War, Candela was a competitive athlete in Spain, playing for the national rugby team and winning championships in both pole-vaulting and ski-jumping. Of note in this subseries is a group of photographs showing Candela competing in these and other sports, including skiing, mountain-climbing, pole-vaulting, and rugby. Also present are travel shots of Candela in later years, often accompanied by his wife, Dorothy Candela, also an architect, in locations such as British Guiana, the United States, Spain, Iran, Peru, Argentina, Armenia, Bulgaria, and England. Candela's interest in regional design styles is also reflected in his travel photographs, which include many shots of local architecture, ruins, and churches in the various countries he visited. Photographs of Candela at several gallery openings and exhibitions are also present, along with photographs of him with other architects, including Fernando Higueras.

The Papers and Projects series is a compilation of Coale's writings, including texts of lectures, reprints of published manuscripts, data, correspondence, and other articles collected by Coale during his research. Notable projects include demographic studies conducted about India (1950s), Mexico (1950s and 1970s), China (1970s and 1990s), and the countries of the former Soviet Union (1990s).

Madison Smartt Bell (1957-) is an American novelist best known for his trilogy of novels about Toussaint Louverture and the Haitian Revolution, published between 1995 and 2004. His papers consist of writings, personal and professional correspondence, family documents, memorandum books, printed materials, and subject files, including drafts, galleys, and proofs for his novels, short stories, and other writings.

The 2015 accession comprises an additional 12.4 linear feet of research, draft, and publishing materials related to Bell's works, The Year of Silence, Behind the Moon, Devil's Dream, The Color of Night, Soldier's Joy, Charm City, Red Stick, Zig Zag Wanderer, Lavoisier in the Year One, Soul in a Bottle, and Toussaint Before the Spirits, as well as additional correspondence from 2002 to 2011 and subject files from 1995 to 2014.
