Formed in the fall of 1972 under the direction of Coach Penny Hinckley, the Princeton Women's Lacrosse team was the first women's team at Princeton to reach an NCAA Final. The collection documents the history of the Princeton Women's Lacrosse team and contains a variety of records including clippings, statistics, schedules, practice notes, and a number of videorecordings of games. Also included are a limited amount of videorecordings, photographs and publications on women's field hockey.

This collection contains images used or considered for use by the publication the Princeton Alumni Weekly. The photographs are generally black-white glossy 8x10 prints; however, 5x7 prints are also found within the collection. The photographs are arranged in general topics, and then alphabetically within each subject. New accruals are added on to the end of the collection and maintained in the order in which they were transferred.

This folder contains photographs of the interior, exterior, and environs of the Princeton University Chapel. Included are photographs of Hibben Garden, the Hibben lectern, a bust of Grover Cleveland, a scuplture of Jonathan Edwards, stained glass windows including the Stevenson window, and services being held in the Chapel. Also included is an aerial shot of the Chapel and the surrounding buildings and a reproduction of a 1935 painting of the Chapel interior by Christine S. Josselyn.

This series contains writings and papers of Sonya Rudikoff, primarily unpublished works, including lectures and academic papers, often about Virginia Woolf, that Rudikoff presented at various conferences on Victorian literature, as well as typescripts of short stories and other fictional works. Of note is a typescript for a novel that portrays the life of a female Abstract Expressionist painter living in New York City in the late 1940s and early 1950s, possibly inspired by Rudikoff's roommate, Helen Frankenthaler. Although the typescript for the novel is untitled, an attached synopsis lists "Abstract Expressionism" and "Sybil, What Do You Want?" as possible titles. A curriculum vitae and bibliography of Rudikoff's published works is also included, documenting her frequent publications from the 1950s through the 1990s, which consist of literary reviews and essays appearing in major journals, including regular articles in The Hudson Review.

The William P. Bundy Papers document Bundy's career in public service, including Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs; Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs; Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs, and editor of Foreign Affairs. Additionally, the collection consists of correspondence and subject files for Bundy's 1998 book, A Tangled Web: The Making of Foreign Policy in the Nixon Presidency.

Brooke R. Stoddard, Class of 2005 is a member of the University Press Club (UPC), who wrote a senior thesis about the history of the UPC in 2005. The collection contains correspondence and interviews with Princeton UPC alumni that Stoddard used for his research, as well as copies of clippings and printed materials.

The Association of Hiroshima University for Sending Atomic-bombed Roof Tiles distributes the tiles in an effort to perpetuate awareness of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and to oppose the use and proliferation of nuclear weapons. The collection includes seven atomic-bombed roof tiles; photographs of the location where the roof tiles were recovered; booklets and pamphlets on the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki; and information and correspondence from Hiroshima University.

The collection includes correspondence to and from Mexican author Elena Garro and Chilean American critic and scholar Gabriela Mora, a handwritten testament by Elena Garro, and photographs of Gabriela Mora, Elena Garro, and Garro's family, friends, and colleagues. Also includes audio recorded interviews of Elena Garro conducted by Gabriela Mora in 1974 and 1979.

Includes two sets of candid photographs of Elena Garro, Elena Garro's friend, Helena Paz, and Gabriela Mora taken in 1974 at Gabriela Mora's home in New York City and in Spain in 1979. Lyman B. Kirkpatrick, Jr. served with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) from its inception in 1947 until 1965. The papers document Kirkpatrick's career at the CIA, including his role as inspector general during the Bay of Pigs invasion, as well as his service in the U.S. Army and Office of Strategic Services during World War II, and his time as a professor of political science at Brown University.

Series 6 Finding Aid: American Civil Liberties Union Records: Audiovisual Materials Series, circa 1920-1995.

The American Civil Liberties Union Records document the activities of the Union in protecting individual rights from 1920 through 1995. The files contain materials on freedom of speech, expression, and association; due process of law; equality before the law; legal case files; and organizational records. Within these categories files reflect subject areas such as academic freedom, censorship, racial discrimination, aliens' rights, privacy concerns, labor concerns, amnesty, and government loyalty and security. The files reflect work on litigation, advocacy and public policy, and subject files on various areas of interest connected with civil liberties. Materials include correspondence, court documents, memoranda, printed matter, minutes, reports, briefs, and legal files. Also included are materials from ACLU affiliate organizations, and the Lawyers Constitutional Defense Committee. Subgroup 2, Series 2, 3, and 4 have been digitized and are available for members of the Princeton community to view here. This series consists of various items mostly relating to Chase's family connections to the artist's colony in Woodstock, New York.

Photographs are primarily of faculty Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, as well as some photographs of graduate students, field trips, research interests and subjects (plants, animals, microorganisms), diagrams and the occasional campus building. Many seem to have been used for the purposes of printing newsletters and brochures, and are marked up and/or duplicated for such use. The box contains a mix of older material (photographs of faculty of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries) and somewhat more recent material dating from the 1960s to the 1990s, with the bulk probably originating in the 1980s-1990s. The box also contains two small cases of metal instruments, one labeled as being John Bonner's.

The Princeton University Publications collection contains issues of nearly 150 different periodicals published by the university and related organizations, as well as a few items published by others about the university, that have not been cataloged individually.

Consists of writings, correspondence, documents, drawings, photographs, papers of others, and printed material of María Rosa Oliver (1898-1977), Argentine essayist, short story writer, literary critic, and translator.

This series contains one scrapbook compiled by Oliver, of articles (1934-1947) by and about her, press clippings of Oliver's published fiction and nonfiction, spanning 1918 to the 1960s(?), and printed articles about Oliver (1920s?-1988). The printed material includes short stories by Oliver and reviews of Oliver's books, including Mundo, mi casa, La vida cotidiana, and the posthumously-published Mi fe es el hombre. There is also a photocopy of Geografía Argentina, a book (26 pp.) for children, with text by María Rosa Oliver, published in Buenos Aires, in 1939. The series is arranged with the author's scrapbook first, followed by the printed material by or about Oliver in chronological order. Finally, there is one folder of miscellaneous printed material saved by Oliver, filed at the end.

Consists primarily of correspondence, photograph albums, lantern slides, printed material, sermon drafts, and film reels documenting the years DuBois S. Morris (Class of 1893) spent as a Presbyterian missionary in Eastern China during the late 1800s through the 1920s.

Materials also pertain to Dubois Morris's missionary work and consist of annual reports to and from the Central Presbyterian Church in New York City, NY, and annual reports from Huaiyuan. There are also sermon outlines, notes, and talks. There are several school papers and a heavily annotated Bible, likely from Dubois Morris's time at Harvard University and/or Columbia University while he was completing his postgraduate theological studies. There are cabinet cards from Morris's time at Princeton, and materials related to his inclusion in the Class of 1893, including Class Day booklets, directories, reunion books, etc. from the decades following. There are a couple of booklets on membership rules and bylaws for other organizations, such as The Pilgrims, the Quill Club, and the Shanghai Tiffin Club. There is a small amount of family papers, including a paper from Dubois Morris's younger brother, James Edgar Morris; and 1997 journal entries and photographs of a trip to Huaiyuan from Robert Morris, Dubois Morris's grandson. The scrapbooks consist of an 1898 scrapbook pertaining to George Candee Buell's passing; a bridal book containing information about the bridal party, engagement gifts, and wedding gifts, with loose scraps and notes; a Huaiyuan photograph album from 1912; and a photograph album which appears to contain photographs from Alice Buell Morris's schooldays and of her travels.

Consists primarily of United States Army officer George E. Albee's correspondence along with other papers, including a diary documenting his service with the 41st Infantry Regiment during the Indian Wars of 1869, which earned him the Medal of Honor. Some research files on Albee and his antiquean arms collection are also included.

Consists of correspondence with Albee's descendants, Carey Strong Selby and Rose Selby, regarding information about George E. Albee's collection of weaponry and personal papers, and Flayderman'a acquisition of both. Inventories of the both portions of the collection at the time they were purchased are included.

The Early Photographs of Greece Collection is an open collection for general photographs of sites and subjects in Greece. Included are panoramic photographs of the Parthenon, Athens, and Smyrna, along with other photographs of Greece.

Consists primarily of material relating to Ohio farmer Luzern Humphrey's overland journey from Kanesville, Iowa, to the Oregon Territory in 1852, his life there through 1853, and his return to Iowa in 1854, including his journal and 51 letters to his wife in Ohio. Also included are some papers relating to the family of William Miller, the founder of Adventism.

This collection consists of offprints of articles written by Princeton alumni and faculty; however, in some instances the articles are written about an individual alumni or faculty member. The offprints generally consist of journals, published articles, speeches, lectures, sermons, memorials, and articles from scientific journals and magazines.

Charles W. Yost (1907-1981) led a varied career as a diplomat, United Nations representative, writer, and scholar. He was a member of the foreign service intermittently between 1930 and 1971, after which time he devoted himself full-time to writing and teaching. Yost's papers document his professional life in the Foreign Service, as well as his time in academia, and include his correspondence, writings, and photographs.
