Richard T. Arndt (1928-) worked in cultural diplomacy for over two decades for the U.S. Information Agency and the Department of State. The collection contains his papers, speeches, article clippings, and correspondence related to cultural diplomacy.

The Lloyd E. Cotsen Papers consist of papers and personal items of Lloyd Cotsen's related to his time as an executive at Neutrogena Corporation, his art and book collection practices, his philanthropic contributions, his archaeological interests, and photographs shot by Cotsen. Items related to the production of Cotsen Occasional Press publications are also included. Material dates from 1949 to 2021.

Materials included are related to Cotsen's time working at Neutrogena. Items include Cotsen's personal and business effects, photo albums, Neutrogena souvenirs and ephemera, awards and certificates given to Cotsen, and video cassettes related to the business. Material also includes documents related to Cotsen's contributions to Neutrogena's art collections and exhibitions as well as inventories of art stored at the Neutrogena offices (including documents related to art that Cotsen bought from Nuetrogena and added to his private collection after Johnson and Johnson bought Nuetrogrena in 1994).

Photographs include promotional and professional portraits; pictures from award ceremonies, lectures, and other events; and casual snapshots of friends and family. Other photographs may also be found with correspondence.

The correspondence files reveal the depth and breadth of Rossi's involvement in a variety of intellectual circles in Mexico and abroad. While the format may have changed over the years from typed or handwritten letters to faxes and emails, the regularity and discipline with which Rossi corresponds with his friends and associates does not at all diminish. If anything, it even flourishes in later years.

Dick Kazmaier was a Princeton University student and football player from 1948 to 1952. The Dick Kazmaier Papers include Kazmaier's course materials (class notes, exams, and thesis research material), as well as football team photographs, award certificates, and a scapbook of newspaper clipplings from 1949 to 1953.

Box 3 contains 13 oversized photographs and awards: Princeton football team photographs from 1949 to 1951; Kazmaier's Varsity Award of 1952, certificates for two All-American football teams in 1951, a Charles Caldwell memorial print, an AP newsfeatures "Talented Tiger" illustration featuring Kazmaier, and a laminated poster for a much later PU salute shared with Bill Bradley (undated).

Portion of Box 2 contains copies of Kazmaier's sports column, "Dick Kazmaier's Football," as well as correspondence and ephemera related to his life and career after Princeton.

The General, Organizations, and Events subseries contains the records of various Princeton alumni groups, events, and publications. Correspondence about particular alumni groups such as the Alumni Council, events such as Alumni Day and the Princeton Alumni Weekly publication are included. In addition, material regarding the leadership conferences sponsored by various class years is located within this subseries.

The Alumni Relations series contains records documenting the Office of the President's interactions with Princeton alumni and alumni organizations.

Consists of papers of the American Astronomical Society, including reports, investments, finances, agendas, publications, and materials related to Project Westford, as well as other materials.

Consists of works of other people. Included are texts, articles, short stories, poems, scripts, and radio talks. A few of the material of other authors have no obvious connection with Kaiē Tsitselē. At the end, there are newspaper clippings and various documents.

Included are autograph manuscripts and typescripts of the following texts: "Hoi hypochreōseis tou anthrōpou stēn psychē tou"; "Synkrisē tou antrou tēs Kalypsōs (tou Homērou) kai tou palatiou kai tou kēpou tou Digenē Akrita"; "Ho choros sēmera"; "Palioi kairoi"; typescript of the play The Return; "Rome, an Oblique View" (pp. 51); "Skepseis gyrō apo to thema 'Synchronē technē kai paradosē'"; "The Moment of Decision"; and several others, as well as autograph notes of Klēridē's thoughts spanning from 1949 to 1960. The second folder includes autograph manuscripts and typescripts of poems and ballet stories; black-and-white photographs of Klēridē; and clippings of Greek newspapers relating to her death.

Includes a notebook (1949) with drafts of the English translation of samples of To kivōtio by Arēs Alexandrou. There is also a copy of the introduction written by Robert Crist; a synopsis composed by the author; a brief biographical note on Alexandrou; a holograph by Kaitē Drossou to Tsitselē (1987); and photocopies of two typed letters by Giannēs Ritsos to Alexandrou, dated 1972. The novel was eventually published by Kedros (1996) in English translation by Robert Christ.

The Publications series consists largely of the published results of Ryder's research. There are a small number of notes, drafts, and correspondence scattered throughout.

Box 36 contains miscellaneous clippings and photocopies, as well as some notes and library research slips for Working a Democratic Constitution. Clippings are primarily focused on India as well as U.S. foreign relations (1949-1987, most 1970s). Included are a 1971 pamphlet by N.A. Palkhivala, "The Constitution and the Common Man" and a photocopy of Rajeev Dhavan's "The Amendment: Conspiracy or Revolution?" (1978). One folder includes ephemera from Austin's travel to India 1990-1991—a list of people interviewed in Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Madras, questions for sources, requisition slips from the National Archives of India, and a few receipts.

Consists chiefly of correspondence of Cecil Beaton, English fashion and portrait photographer and Academy Award winning stage and constume designer for film and theater, with his author friend Hal Burton.

Series 1: International Labour Organisation Files, Subseries 3: Reports of Director-General (1949-1970) consists of lengthy reports on a variety of matters which Morse placed before the annual International Labour Conference, typically held in Geneva, and periodic regional conferences held in cities as far afield as Montevideo and New Delhi. The latter include the Conference of American States Members, the Asian Regional Conference, the European Regional Conference, and the African Regional Conference. Throughout Morse's tenure, the report of the Director-General, who serves as Secretary-General of the International Labour Conference and, frequently, of the regional conferences, played a central role in the deliberations of these assemblies. Heading, as they did, the agenda of each conference, Morse's reports were designed both to inform and animate debate, and to transcend a simple recitation of the ILO's activities by broaching issues of organizational, regional, and global importance. As Morse noted in his report to the International Labour Conference in 1951, "If these pages stimulate thought and discussion, if they help some to see more clearly than before the spirit which must inspire our work, if they encourage others to intensify their efforts to promote understanding between peoples and to improve the lot of their fellow men, they will have served their purpose."

Series 4, Appointment Books (1949-1970) consists of 22 small, bound, yearly planners in which Morse periodically jotted down his daily schedule as Director-General. Although a large percentage of days are blank slates, the pages on which Morse noted his appointments are informative and provide an insight, albeit skeletal, into what his life as head of the ILO was like. On March 2, 1953, for instance, his day began with a meeting followed by five appointments, including one with Egypt's Under Secretary of Labor, followed by another meeting followed by a dinner. On May 14, 1959, seven appointments are recorded, as well as a meeting, a lunch, a reception, and a dinner. During the annual International Labour Conference his schedule could be more crowded still.

This series contains materials from George McGovern's Senate and presidential campaigns. Documents included in this series cover McGovern's first bid for the Senate in 1960, his subsequent campaigns in 1962, 1968, and 1974, and his final, unsuccessful reelection campaign in 1980. The series also documents McGovern's 1968 candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination and his 1972 presidential campaign. In addition, the series includes files on McGovern's political alliances and activities during the 1966 House elections and the 1964 and 1976 presidential elections. Types of materials in this series include files on campaign organization, financial files, promotion and advertising files, issue and policy files, and campaign correspondence.

Named in honor of Christian Gauss (1878-1951), one of Woodrow Wilson's original preceptors and dean of the college from 1925 to 1946, the Gauss Seminars in Criticism were conceived in 1949 by Richard P. Blackmur (1904-1965). One of America's foremost literary critics–and one of Princeton's most distinguished professors of English–Blackmur sought to stimulate discussion and the exchange of ideas in the humanities through presentations from scholars, artists, critics, and writers. The collection is composed of correspondence with guest speakers.

The series complements the files on faculty and staff kept by the Dean of the Faculty (AC #107).

Subseries 1E: Special Programs, 1953-1972 (bulk 1957-1972) concerns the development of special academic and non-academic programs, such as the Creative Arts program (established in 1939) as well as the establishment of new programs, such as African-American Studies (1969), and the graduate program in History and Philosophy of Science (1960). Various cross-departmental studies can be found under "Council of the Humanities."

File of ALsS and TLsS related to Kermode's appointments to King's College, University of Durham (1947), the University of Reading (1949), and the John Edward Taylor Professor of English Literature at the University of Manchester (1957). Includes congratulatory letters from Kermode's friends and academic colleagues.

Series 1: Princeton Prospect Foundation, 1947-1992, is divided into two subseries: General material and Eating Club-Related Records.

The General subseries consists of correspondence between the Princeton Prospect Foundation and the Princeton Prospect Foundation Board of Trustees, members and interested people, and Princeton University faculty and administration in regards to the role of the Foundation and its acceptance by the University. Also included are general memoranda and mailings by the Foundation inquiring about assistance for their cause. There are also reports completed by the Foundation in an effort to show the positive impact it has had on the Eating Clubs and the University. Also incorporated in this subseries are the minutes of the meetings of the Foundation Board of Trustees (including address and telephone lists of the trustees), and the bylaws and certificate of incorporation for the Foundation.

Consists of selected papers of American novelist Caroline Gordon, including some of her correspondence with various family members, friends, and literary associates.

This subseries (0.84 linear feet) contains correspondence, financial records, and legal documents pertaining to the fund established by Robert Marshall and the various ACLU projects the fund supported. Correspondence between officers of the trust fund and the ACLU concerning requests for aid and specific monetary transactions comprise a significant part of the collection. Also included are itemized expense accounts and appropriations lists.

Series 3: Departmental Records, 1942-1988, includes the records of various committees and programs (such as a two week program to introduce local middle school boys to engineering through a surveying project of Jadwin Gym, field trips to construction sites and similar activities), studies on the status of engineering at Princeton, annual reports, minutes from Advisory Council, Executive Committee and faculty meetings, and seminar and conference records (proposals, agendas, published and unpublished papers, etc.), arranged in that order.
