The U.S. Department of Energy Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) is a Collaborative National Center for plasma and fusion science. Its primary mission is to develop the scientific understanding and the key innovations which will lead to a new fusion energy source. The PPPL Records include digitized historical negatives and publications from the PPPL Communications Office, documenting the people, projects, events, activities and physical grounds of the laboratory through a span of 49 years.

Orange Key Guide Service Records, 1953-2009
Orange Key is a volunteer student organization that provides campus tours. The collection consists of records that document the activities of the Orange Key Guide Service, including tour routes, lists of tour guides, guide selection information, subject files, training materials, and procedure manuals, as well as a card index of buildings, inscriptions, sculptures, and other physical gifts donated to the University assembled by Orange Key Office as a reference for campus tour guides.

Series 5, Dillard University and Hurricane Katrina Relief Efforts, 2005-2016
This series consists of records--created primarily by Karen Jezierny, Director of Public Affairs—in both paper and digital formats pertaining to Dillard University Relief Efforts in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Jezierny chiefly led Princeton's role in the partnership with Dillard University, a historically black college or university (HBCU) in New Orleans, Louisiana. Brown University, led at the time by former Princeton professor and dean Ruth Simmons, was initially involved in the relief effort as well. These records provide initial information as the effort began as well as ongoing efforts including speeches and press releases containing updates throughout the process. Also included are the visit agenda and itinerary for Marvalene Hughes, President of Dillard University, to Princeton's campus. All of these records were used by Karen Jezierny as she supported and led the initiative.

In the past, the office has been responsible for matters ranging from student discipline to undergraduate academic life and the curriculum. This record group consists of the files of the faculty, the dean, the office, and its staff. In addition to the office's subject files, the collection includes the records of faculty meetings, faculty and University committees, and the personnel files of faculty, senior staff, and trustees.
Subseries 1A: Complete and Final Minutes of Faculty Meetings, 1781-2010

The Complete and Final Minutes subseries groups together the faculty minutes in their bound, final form. The eighteenth and nineteenth century minutes consist mostly of entries written carefully in minutes books; the minutes from the twentieth century to the present also include printed reports and documents from various committees. Minutes from the later half of the twentieth century to the present include an agenda for the next meeting. Beginning in 1968 and ending in 1984, abstracts (or summaries) were created in the interest of transparency. These abstracts form subseries 1B and, from June 1970 to June 1984, are not restricted. Since 1984, the clerk of the faculty no longer wrote up an abstract in addition to minutes, and simply wrote abstracts as if they were the actual minutes. For this reason, the minutes of the faculty from 1984 to the present are not restricted. Clerks of the faculty changed frequently, and they each put their own stamp on the format and content of the minutes.

The minutes, their drafts, and their appendices have been compiled over the years by the Clerk of the Faculty (a professor appointed by the faculty), with secretarial assistance from the Dean of the Faculty's office.
