Thomas J. Kofodimos Papers, 1927-1998
Consists of documentation that Thomas Kofodimos pulled together, when he was trying to find a United States publisher for his English translation of of Lephousēs' book Asēmina Laiou. Also, includes letters from Ēlias Lephousēs to Thomas Kofodimos and to Joan Kofodimos, family photographs and miscellaneous photographs of ELAS (Greek People's Liberation Army) leaders, materials related to Kofodimos' escape from Greece, information about his career after coming to the United States, various memoirs and personal history, death notices and obituaries of Kofodimos' both in the United States and in Greece.
Photographs, 1927-1947
Consists of black-and-white photographs of Thomas Kofodimos, his parents and their house in Almyros (Volos, Greece); an elementary school photograph; early photographs of Thomas in Indianapolis and after moving back to Almyros; pre-war photographs with his fellow students at the Polytechnic School in Thessalonikē; at BP plant in Thessalonikē during civil war while trying to get out of Greece. There are also photographs of his 54th Regiment on mount Pēlion, and portrait photographs of Arēs Velouchiōtēs. Included also is an oversize group photograph depicting several leaders of the 54th Regiment ELAS taken by N. Stournaras (see folder 1, D-Middle 73, drawer 3).

Consists of Kofodimos' personal documents that were collected in order to escape from Greece to the United States with Nancy/Athena in 1947 (Nancy referred to as "Nana", that was her nickname). Thomas Kofodimos did not participate in the Civil War.

Thomas Burnside Morris graduated from New York University in 1861 with a degree in civil engineering. He was a chief engineer of the Long Island Railroad, 1863; a division chief of the Panama Railroad, 1864-1865; a division chief of the Union Pacific Railroad, 1867-1869; and a division chief of the Northern Pacific Railroad, 1870-1874. He died in Oakland, California, on November 8, 1885. The collection consists primarily of material relating to Morris's role in the construction of the Union Pacific Railroad and the Northern Pacific Railroad.

The Thomas Baird Papers consists of the working and personal papers, primarily manuscripts, of the American educator and author Thomas Baird (1923-1990). Also included, and related to both his published and unpublished works, are idea files, notes, writing journals, correspondence with his publishers and editors, and reviews. Furthermore, the collection contains the following materials that encompass Baird's adult life: talks, addresses, and lectures; general, family and travel correspondence; diaries; personal journals; interviews; documents; photographs and audio recordings.
Subseries 2B: Family Correspondence, 1938-1988
This sub-series consists of the correspondence Baird received from his family members Alice Baird [mother], Edgar Baird [father] and Sarah Lee Baird [sister] (1947-1948). There are also letters from Alice to Agnes Eckley, Baird's nursemaid and family friend (1941-1942), and letters from Baird to Agnes (1938-1984). These letters document Baird's time at Princeton, his military service and beyond. Lastly, there are a few letters between Baird and Thomas Eckley (1987-1988), son of Agnes and Baird's namesake. Upon the death of his mother, Thomas Eckley returned to Baird both Baird and Alice's letters to Agnes. This sub-series is arranged alphabetically by correspondent.
Subseries 1B: Novels and Short Stories, 1919 May 30-1990 March 28
This sub-series consists primarily of manuscripts of Baird's published and unpublished works between 1932 and 1990, including Controlled Substances, the novel Baird was working on at the time of his death. Many of the works also contain notes, writing journals, correspondence between Baird and his publishers and editors, fan mail, and reviews. Within some of the notes files there are clippings of articles and advertisements that inspired Baird, as well as hand-drawn maps that he used to construct fictional settings. The published works found in the collection include Triumphal Entry (1962), The Old Masters (1963), People Who Pull You Down (1970), The Way to the Old Sailors Home (1977), Poor Millie (1978), Villa Aphrodite (1984) and Smart Rats (1990) [young adult]. Some of these works include author's proofs, galley proofs, and folded and gathered sheets. This sub-series is arranged alphabetically by title and then chronologically by date.
