The Syllabi and Course Materials Collection brings together original materials from the university archives that document the content of classes taught at Princeton University.

There are several well-known Princeton theatrical groups, but students and faculty have also organized many smaller groups over the decades, both short-term and long-lived. The collection consists of posters, programs, photographs, news clippings, and a very small amount of design and planning materials gathered about campus theatrical groups that are not already represented in dedicated archival collections.

The Film Stills Collection consists of stills and publicity portraits of actors and actresses in the American film industry.

This collection consists of offprints of articles written by Princeton alumni and faculty; however, in some instances the articles are written about an individual alumni or faculty member. The offprints generally consist of journals, published articles, speeches, lectures, sermons, memorials, and articles from scientific journals and magazines.

Consists of a collection of miscellaneous legal and financial documents, correspondence, and other manuscript materials, assembled from various sources, that relate to New Jersey history or inhabitants of New Jersey from the late 17th century through the mid 20th century.

The collection consists of contemporary documents pertaining to five of the lotteries held in the eighteenth century to raise funds for the colonial College of New Jersey. Also included is some secondary source material about the lotteries.

Each volume or set of volumes in the Princetoniania Collection is represented in the Princeton University Library Main Catalog, which is searchable by title, author, or call number.

Organized competitive athletics appeared on the Princeton campus in the 1850s and 1860s through the formation of intramural and intercollegiate athletics clubs which evolved over the ensuing century into the modern collegiate athletic system. The collection consists of scrapbooks and sets of clippings about sports and athletes at Princeton.

Series 1: Princeton Athletics Scrapbooks and Clippings, circa 1914-1967 consists of scrapbooks and sets of clippings about sports and athletes at Princeton. It includes materials about Hobey Baker, Bill Bradley, and Princeton University football.

Taos Pueblo lost thousands of acres of land as well as Taos Lake, a sacred Pueblo shrine, when Carson National Forest was created in 1906. After a sixty-four year fight, the government returned the land to the Pueblo. This collection brings together four discrete collections: the papers of Barbara Greene Kilberg, a White House Presidential Fellow at the time of the dispute; the papers of Corinne Locker, secretary to Association on American Indian Affairs (AAIA) president Oliver LaFarge (1901-1963) and later AAIA Southwest Field Secretary; the papers of Rufus G. Poole, regional attorney for the AAIA in New Mexico, and the papers of William G. Schaab, an Albuquerque attorney who became involved in the fight in 1967.

The Eating Club Records consist of manuscript and printed material from almost all the clubs. The records of individual eating clubs have been combined with material on Eating Clubs in general. This material includes correspondence, reports, minutes, financial statements, constitutions, and miscellaneous records. Printed material in the records consist of newspaper and magazine clippings, club membership books, and club histories.

Consists of an open collection of miscellaneous letters and memorabilia of American novelist and dramatist Booth Tarkington (1869-1946).

Graduate work in a formal sense emerged at Princeton in the 1870s when President James McCosh added new faculty and graduate fellowships. This collection consists of theses submitted toward the fulfillment of requirements for master's degrees at Princeton University.

The Historical Subject Files Collection documents Princeton University history and related topics from 1746 to the present. The collection consists of documents in almost every two-dimensional format: articles, books and booklets, clippings, correspondence, memoranda, non-photographic images, notes, pamphlets, posters, and reports.

Pell William Foster's scrapbook contains mostly materials related to his experience as an officer during World War I. It includes photographs of Pell Foster, Battery units, combat exercise drills, local scenery, German POWs, documents issued by the U.S. War Department, discharge letters, a few maps, newspaper clippings, and other materials. It also includes a few newsletters from 1927 and 1970.

The Early Photographs of Greece Collection is an open collection for general photographs of sites and subjects in Greece. Included are panoramic photographs of the Parthenon, Athens, and Smyrna, along with other photographs of Greece.

Consists of an assembled collection of correspondence, documents, and manuscripts related to Princeton University, its students, and its employees, some in an official capacity and others as personal or family records of those associated with Princeton University, or the College of New Jersey as it was known prior to the end of the 19th century. Healey made at the same time he discovered the Maya murals at Bonampak while on assignment from The United Fruit Company in 1946, and approximately 1,500 negatives (120 format, 6 centimeters) of the Tzeltal and Lacandón Maya of the Chiapas Highlands taken by Ralph Hilt from approximately 1960 to 1964.

Consists of an open collection containing miscellaneous source material related to Modern Greek studies, including letters, documents, artwork, and other unbound manuscript items.

The Miscellaneous Circus Collection consists of subject files on all aspects of the circus: acts, organizations, and specific performers and circuses. Included are photographs, manuscripts, programs, broadsides, posters, scrapbooks, clippings, and other ephemera.

The Miscellaneous Dance Files Collection contains printed programs, souvenir programs, clippings, and reviews of various ballet companies and choreographers.

Consists of playbills, programs, and some other printed material relating to the works of Gilbert and Sullivan.

Westfield, New Jersey, was part of Elizabethtown from the time it was settled in late 1664 until 1794, when the Township of Westfield was created. The New Jersey Documents Collections, 1601 to 1983, consists of New Jersey legal documents, the bulk of which are from the town of Westfield, Union County, and include land records, financial records, estate records, and court records, many of which were created by various members of the Baker, Downer, Hetfield, Johnson, Miller, Pierson, Ripley, Ross, and Woodruff families. The majority of the collection material dates from 1750 to 1890.

This group of material relates to five generations of the Trenton branch of the Scudder family. The first generation is represented by Richard Betts Scudder (1670-1754) with an appointment as lieutenant in a British company of foot soldiers in Burlington County from 1711 and two inventories relating to his Trenton estate, both dating 1754. For Richard Betts Scudder's grandsons Daniel Scudder (1736-1811) and Amos Scudder (1739-1824), there is an indenture dating 1770. Daniel Scudder's grandsons, John Scudder (1796-1840), Jasper Smith Scudder (1797-1877), and Abner Scudder (1800-1878), are represented by two indentures as well as a receipt for a slave named Samuel Conover, all dated 1825. Edward Wallace Scudder (1822-1893), son of Jasper Smith Scudder, is represented in two documents: a print of the members of the Supreme Court of the State of New Jersey in 1886 and an invitation to a World's Columbian Exposition event in 1892. Finally, the class notebooks of Wallace M. Scudder (1853-1931), son of Edward Wallace Scudder, are present in the collection and provide information regarding his training as an engineer at Lehigh University, circa 1869 to 1873, and his training as a lawyer at Harvard University from 1879 to 1881. The last items in this group of materials are a draft and final version of an article for the newsletter titled "The Scudder Association, Inc.," dating 1983. This newsletter and the drafts contain biographical information on Edward Wallace Scudder (1822-1893), Wallace McIlvaine Scudder (1853-1931), and Edward Wallace Scudder, II (1882-1953).

The Woodrow Wilson Additional Materials consist of materials that the Seeley G. Mudd Manuscript Library has acquired on Woodrow Wilson since the mid-1990s.

The Woodrow Wilson Collection consists of Wilson holdings which have been acquired by the Princeton University Library Special Collections gradually over many years by purchase and gifts from many sources. The collection is rich in material prior to Wilson's presidential years, although it is not limited to this period; researchers will find materials documenting both the public and private life of Woodrow Wilson. Various types of information written by or about Wilson are present in the collection, including manuscripts, addresses, articles, correspondence, telegrams, legal documents, booklets, pamphlets, photographs, portraits, cartoons, newspapers and scrapbooks.

This microfilm consists primarily of pamphlets published by non-governmental organizations and government agencies from various Latin American countries in relation to women and gender issues. The bulk of the material was published during the 1980s and 1990s.

Concerts and recitals by Princeton University's many musical clubs and organizations, as well as performers from outside the University have been standard fare on capus since the 19th century. The collection consists of reports, concert programs, posters, articles, schedules, flyers, correspondence, and photographs pertaining to performances of music on the Princeton University campus and performances elsewhere by University-affiliated groups.

The collection consists of group portraits and other photos of Princeton University classes. Though some photographs depict the classes while their members were students, the majority of the photographs are from alumni reunions.

The Princeton University Library Collection of Historical Subject Files, Grounds and Buildings contains information relating to the buildings, grounds, and architects of Princeton University. The collection also includes information on the development of the campus and the various chronologies of construction and land acquisition that have been gathered.

This collection comprises paintings, drawings, prints, cartoons, and other original artwork and reproductions representing the Princeton campus, its dezinens, sporting and other events, and symbols of the school.

Consists of several hundred lantern slides containing images of Princeton University, primarily the campus and buildings.

Jonathan Belcher, was a merchant and colonial governor of the Provinces of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and New Jersey and was instrumental in the founding of the College of New Jersey (now Princeton). The Jonathan Belcher Collection consists of collected research materials regarding Jonathan Belcher's relation to the history of Princeton University and consist of correspondence, articles, clippings, and copies of original materials from Belcher collections held at Princeton and elsewhere.

John Foster Dulles (1888-1959), was a graduate of the Princeton Class of 1908 who served as Secretary of State of the United States for President Dwight D. Eisenhower. The John Foster Dulles Collection consists of a small group of materials documenting Dulles' connection to Princeton, including materials on his undergraduate career and the Dulles Library.

This collection contains over 1,800 items including mugs, pipes, canes, banners, hatbands, pins, jewelry, and other material collected by many individuals that document reunions, sporting events, student traditions, and other aspects of University life.

Awards given to alumni, primarily at reunions.

This series contains various types of awards given at Princeton University, and has sub-categories for athletic awards and awards for alumni, as well as other types of ceremonial honors.

This collection contains printed athletic programs for football, baseball, basketball, and ice hockey and other sports, with football predominant. The programs, especially the earlier ones, provide a sweeping view of Princeton's athletic history, documenting not only team statistics and scores, but the players, the venues in which the teams competed, social aspects of advertising, and the evolution of the various games.

This collection contains presentation boards related to the design, construction, renovation and expansion of Princeton's grounds and buildings. In addition, the boards include those used for planning purposes, student housing strategies, insurance purposes and recording of features such as fallout shelters, and electrical feeders. The boards primarily include floorplans, artistic renderings, elevations and campus footprints.

Consists of presentation boards related to the design, construction, renovation, and expansion of Princeton University's grounds and buildings. Since its introduction in the mid-1920s the senior thesis has been a core element of the undergraduate curriculum at Princeton University. The collection contains the senior theses of Princeton undergraduates.

This series consists of bulk of the senior theses in our collection representing each of the academic departments of the university. Senior theses in this series appear in variety of formats including microfiche, bound volumes, unbound paper copies and digital files. The Grounds and Buildings Series of the Historical Photograph Collection contains photographs of the grounds and buildings owned by Princeton University. The photographs date from the late 1850s to the present, with the bulk of the photographs dating from the 1870s to the 1940s. Many of these photographs have been digitized and are searchable in Digital PUL.

The Student Photograph Albums Series of the Historical Photograph Collection (HPC) contains 180 photographic albums created by Princeton University students. These albums, along with the other photograph collections in the University Archives, help document the experiences of students, faculty, and staff at Princeton University. The albums date from 1851 to 1995, although the bulk date from the 1860s to the 1910s. New accessions are added regularly to the collection.

Photographs taken by Henry J. Powsner, Class of 1950, while he was a student at Princeton. In three envelopes labeled "Princetonianum" (campus views, including squirrel, and chapel interiors); "In the dorm"; and "About Princeton and band." The latter include dining hall interiors, a student suspended by pulley in a lecture hall, sunbathers, the football stadium, and band members at Richardson Auditorium, along with night exteriors of campus rowdiness.

The Class Records consist of a diverse set of materials documenting the history and activities of Princeton University classes during their time as undergraduates and as alumni. In the collection are correspondence, newsletters, publications, photographs, and memorabilia, all of which pertain to a particular Princeton University graduating class and its members.

The General Manuscripts Collection is largely composed of materials related to United States politics and government, including personal and business correspondence, manuscripts, memorabilia, pamphlets, and reports. The collection includes the papers of many individuals, including Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Theodore Roosevelt and other United States presidents, government officials, authors and journalists, bankers and businessmen, and Princeton University alumni.

The Charles Black Hutchinson Papers primarily include Charles Hutchinson's correspondence and schoolwork from the period 1935 to 1944, when Hutchinson was a student at the Lawrenceville School (1935 to 1939), at Princeton University (1939 to 1943), and serving in the Army's 681st Glider Battalion (beginning in 1943).

Event programs point to some of Hutchinson's pursuits between 1940 and 1942—church services, theatrical productions, a debutante ball, a museum exhibit. Ephemera include items such as membership cards, game tickets, and railroad schedules from the early 1930s through 1944, as well as playing cards, a pen nib, and advertisements. Also included in Series 3 are printed programs from the Lawrenceville School (for commencement 1938 and 1939, for instance), as well as printed materials from the Army, such as the booklet "The Construction of Models for Protective Concealment" (1942) and a Field Artillery School Instruction Memorandum (1942).

Series 6 contains financial records such as cancelled checks and books of check stubs, bank statements and receipts from both Lawrenceville School and Princeton eras, as well as Hutchinson's meal tickets from the Officers' Mess at Fort Bragg (May through December 1943). A few receipts date from a later period, in 1951, showing purchases for garden and farm supplies. The series also contains a folder of cancelled checks and a bank statement belonging to Martin Franklin, who was Hutchinson's roommate in 3 Blair Tower, during 1942.

The Princeton University Library is one of the foremost university libraries in the world. With collections totaling over 12 million volumes, manuscripts, and nonprint items spread across fifteen buildings, the Princeton University Library system serves not only the Princeton University community but the world at large. The Princeton University Library Records consist of the files of the University Librarian and other Library administrators and departments, as well as of the Friends of the Princeton University Library. Materials in the record group include correspondence, reports, publications, clippings, minutes, press releases, proposals, statistics, photographs and other audiovisual materials, and microfilm. The records document the Library's day-to-day operations as well as its involvement with other departments on campus, other college and university libraries, and library users.

The James Thayer Gerould and Lawrence Heyl subseries consists primarily of correspondence documenting the development of special collections within the Library and the expansion of the Library staff. Most of the files originate with Gerould (University Librarian, 1920-1940); however there are also records in this series that were generated by Lawrence Heyl, who was acting librarian 1939-1940, and Julian Boyd, who transitioned into the role of University Librarian in 1940. The records contain correspondence and subject files which document a diverse range of topics. Several folders are dedicated to collections acquired by the Library during this time, while others such as that relating to collector and Princeton's first Curator of Graphic Arts Elmer Adler, (Box 3, Folder 3) hint at long-term plans. Another file, "Federal Aid to Libraries" documents the Library's attempt to engage New Deal funding in the midst of the Great Depression.

This microfilm covers primarily the 1990, 1995, 2000 and 2001 elections in Peru. It contains election propaganda and literature from participating political parties, political analysis, and official government publications.

This collection contains bulletins, evangelical tracts, serials, monographs, pamphlets, and flyers published or distributed in Cuba by non-Christian religious and spiritual bodies.

This microfilm consists primarily of pamphlets published in Peru relating to church and religion. Themes covered include history, indigenous peoples, internal church affairs, youth, social issues, politics, biographies and art. The bulk of the material was published during the 1990s.

This collection of workbooks, reports, serials, pamphlets, and flyers documents the history of Brazilian educational initiatives and programs over the past six decades, from 1940 to 2006, with an emphasis on materials from the late 1980s and early 1990s.

This collection of religious ephemera comprises materials from all over Latin America, with the exception of Cuba. While the date range covered in this extensive collection spans 165 years, the bulk of the items was published between 1960 and 2010.

This collection consists of flyers, pamphlets, and serials concerning the political process and society in Argentina. The material in the elections sections is comprised primarily of propaganda from the 2001 legislative elections and 2003 presidential elections in Argentina.

This microfilm is second in a series and consists of pamphlets, serials, and monographs either published by organizations in Uruguay or published by outside organizations but pertaining to the subject of religion in Uruguay.

This collection contains pamphlets, bulletins, posters, and other miscellaneous items addressing a variety of agrarian issues in Peru, including farming techniques and practices, environmental concerns, land reform, political-economic aspects of agriculture, and the controversy over coca production.

The Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies (PIIRS) is Princeton University's international and regional studies center. The PIIRS Records document the institute's activities and include material from its precursor organizations, the Yale Institute of International Studies and the Center of International Studies at Princeton University.

The Industrial Relations Section at Princeton University was established in 1922 to enhance and extend the knowledge of industrial relations. The Section serves the university community, industry, and the government and includes a research program, a special library, and aids in instruction at Princeton University. The Section's records document the research and administration of the Section and include financial papers and materials related to its conferences, publications, and research.

The Council of the Humanities was founded in 1953 at Princeton University to foster teaching, research and intellectual exchange. Consists of materials collected and generated by the Council of the Humanities, including materials pertaining to the Ford Foundation Project.

Princeton's Graduate School, established officially by the Trustees in late 1900, began its operations in the fall of 1901. These records consist of files of incidental students who earned less than a full semester's worth of credits, as well as the records of visiting fellows.

The Graduate School at Princeton offers masters and doctorate programs in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and engineering. The Graduate School Records consist of minutes, correspondence, reports, writings, applications, surveys, and memoranda, as well as forms, course listings, and information on examinations and fees.

Subseries 1A contains minutes of the Faculty Committee's meetings.

The records consist of the academic files of former graduate students of Princeton University. The information contained in each file varies greatly but can include grades cards, Graduate School applications, a photograph of the student, letters of recommendation, as well as biographical information, lists of achievements, news clippings, and obituaries. Included as part of the final gothic design of Princeton's Graduate School was a 173-foot tower, a national memorial to former U.S. President Grover Cleveland who was also chairman of the trustees' graduate school committee. The collection consists of 11 log books signed by visitors to the Cleveland Memorial Tower.

The records of the Physics Department document the scientific and teaching activities of Princeton University physicists from 1909 to 1962. While routine activities such as the hiring of faculty and the education of graduate and undergraduate students are recorded, these records also detail the Department's activities in early studies of theoretical physics, as well as its participation in World War II research activities. There is also a small amount of material that documents Milton White's efforts toward builing the cyclotron (1936).

Also includes estimated costs for reconstruction of cyclotron and some correspondence with the Office of Naval Research on the progress of nuclear research at Princeton.

The Department of Oriental Studies was formed at Princeton University in the spring of 1927 as the Department of Oriental Languages and Literature. It offered an interdisciplinary curriculum centered on the study of the Arabic, Turkish, and Persian languages and the regions in which they were spoken until 1969, when it was reorganized into the separate Departments of Near Eastern Studies and East Asian Studies. The records consist of correspondence, memoranda, printed materials, course syllabi, and other materials which document the activities of the department and it's faculty inside and outside of the classroom.

Since 1935 Princeton University's Department of Music has offered courses in composition, music history, and related areas to students at the graduate and undergraduate level. The records of the Department of Music document the department's wide range of activities including teaching, research, curriculum development, and the planning of music-related programs on campus.

From the time of the department's institution in 1924, history has typically been one of Princeton's most popular undergraduate concentrations, with the Department of History offering 40 or more undergraduate courses each year. The records consis of subject and faculty files, correspondence, departmental budgets, course syllabi, as well as records from several special projects.

The Department of French and Italian as it exists today at Princeton University originated in 1958 when the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures was split into the separate departments of Romance and Germanic Languages and Literatures. Consists of the records of the contemporary Department of French and Italian, collected while it was operating as the Department of Modern Languages and later the Department of Romance Languages and Literature.

The Department of Facilities at Princeton University is responsible for the construction, maintenance, renovation, and financial management of the buildings and properties owned by the university. The Department of Facilities records document the daily activities of the department and its numerous divisions through blueprints, photographs, correspondence, memos, sketches, contracts, ledgers, tax returns, incorporation papers, by-laws, annual reports, financial statements, newspaper clippings, booklets, and meeting minutes.

The Department of Chemistry at Princeton University dates back to the early days of the College of New Jersey, and today it is one of the University's largest undergraduate concentrations. The collection contains examinations and grade books, records pertaining to chemistry research performed at the department in support of the U.S. Manhattan project and departmental records.

The Technical Correspondence Records, created by the Department of Grounds and Buildings, contain detailed information relating to the construction, maintenance, renovation, and demolition of buildings, and to the grounds and architects of Princeton University.

The study of biology began at the College of New Jersey with the appointment in 1830 of botanist John Torrey into a part-time faculty position; it expanded with the formation of the School of Science in the 1870s; and was established as a department in 1904. The collection primarily consists of the records of the Department of Biology assembled during the tenures of Department Chairmen Edwin G. Conklin and Elmer Butler. Included are correspondence, general subject files, and records pertaining to grants, research endowments, publications, and administrative matters such as budgets and staffing. Also includes sponsored research reports and student grade cards.

The papers of the Astrophysical Sciences Department represent the original observation records, correspondence, and teaching documents of Princeton astrophysicists from 1835 to 1990.

Subseries 1B: Phenomenal Observations, 1874-1966, is arranged alphabetically by the name of the phenomenon observed and chronologically therein. It contains observational records of particular phenomena, such as the Eros asteroid, the Transit of Venus, the Total Lunar Eclipse of 1891, and various comets and satellites. Some astrophysical events, such as the Transit of Venus, have many record books for the same year.

Series 1: Observational Records 1867-1966 is arranged in two subseries: 1A Faculty Observations 1867-1938 and 1B: Phenomenal Observations 1874-1966. This series includes observation notes, measurements, photographs, and record books.

The Department of Psychology dates from 1893, but was not officially established as an independent department until 1920. This collection includes group portraits and portraits of deparment faculty as well as some photos of individuals and locations that may not be Princeton-related.

The Department of Politics at Princeton University is one of the University's largest academic departments, offering undergraduate and graduate courses touching on nearly every aspect of the discipline of political science. The Department of Politics records document the activities of the Department of Politics and its faculty from the time of its founding in 1924 until the mid-1960s, and contain correspondence, course syllabi and notes, examinations, and subject files.

Consists of research materials of faculty members of Princeton University's Department of Near Eastern Studies, most likely Philip Khuri Hitti (1886-1978) and/or his son-in-law, R. Bayly Winder (1920-1988). Materials include photocopied materials relating to Jurji Zaydan (Georgie Zeidan) (1861-1914), and Aramco records, primarily Arabian Research Division, Government Relations Division translations of Current Affairs Radio Broadcasts from 1954 to 1956.

Includes some letters of a congratulatory nature from Arab, Turkish, and Persian publicists as well as a letter from Philip Hitti to Emile Zaydan (1958).

The papers of Princeton University's English Department document the many varied aspects of one of Princeton's largest academic departments. With some writings that pre-date the Department's formal establishment in 1904, the collection includes faculty meeting and sub-committee minutes; faculty personnel papers and correspondence; the papers of many prominent faculty members, which include class lectures, syllabi, and original scholarship; records of departmental majors; student work; and scrapbooks of publicity and memorabilia about the Department, its faculty, staff, and students, both undergraduate and graduate.

The Department of Classics at Princeton University offers courses, both in English and in the original languages, that treat the whole range of ancient culture, from its mythology to its philosophy, law, and literature. Consists of the records of the Department of Classics from the late 19th and early 20th century.

The Art and Archaeology Department is one of the University's most distinguished academic departments, responsible for the education of students on the graduate and undergraduate level as well as the administration of the Princeton Art Museum. This collection consists of the records of the Department of Art and Archaeology, which include advisory council minutes; faculty files; gift records; correspondence; recommendations; project files; course lists; historical documents; and lists of images used in classes.

Following a fire that destroyed the University Gymnasium in 1944, a committee was formed by the Council of Athletics for the purpose of replacing as many of the athletic trophies of the University as possible. The collection consists of the records of the Council on Athletics Trophy Committee, including subject files containing photographs, drawings, purchase orders, and other general information about the trophies.

The Committee on Safety and Insurance was an administrative organization that dealt with occupational safety and insurance issues throughout University facilities and departments. The records consist of Commitee minutes, accident reports, insurance policies, general subject files, and correspondence.

The Bureau of Student Placement was an administrative office at Princeton University that operated roughly from 1945 to 1953 and acted as a liaison between the various armed services and the Princeton University community. The records consist of army, navy, and marine corps plans for colleges, card files containing information about students in the service, and the correspondence of director Gordon G. Sikes which includes letters to and from servicemen, military officials, and other University administrators.

The Bureau of Alumni Records was established in January 1949 as an outgrowth of the records office maintained by the Graduate Council, the governing body of the Princeton University Alumni Association. The collection consists of public files of former graduate students of Princeton University.

Consists of individual files of former undergraduate students of Princeton University, compiled by the Bureau of Alumni Information. Material in each file varies greatly but most include the names of relatives, notable achievements at Princeton and post-graduation, news items, address updates, and obituaries.

The Princeton University Bicentennial Celebration was a year-long series of events that began on September 22, 1946 with a sermon delivered by Geoffrey Francis Fisher, Lord Archbishop of Canterbury, in the University Chapel and ended with an address by President Truman in front of Nassau Hall at the June 17, 1947 Concluding Bicentennial Convocation. The Bicentennial Celebration Records contain correspondence, writings, speeches, press-releases, pamphlets, reports, newspaper clippings, tickets, transcripts, watercolor and pencil sketches and various other materials documenting the 1946-1947 Princeton University Bicentennial Celebration.

The sprint football program at Princeton (sometimes known as lightweight football) has operated since 1933. The collection consists of 196 videotapes (VHS format) of Sprint Football games and one video transfer of a 1947 varsity football game film.

Series 1: 2004 Accession of VHS Tapes, 1947, 1989-2003 consists of videotapes (VHS format) of Sprint Football games, mostly from 1989-2003, and one transfer of a varsity football game film from 1947. Each tape is labeled with the date of the game, the opponent, and in some instances the final score.

The Dillon Gym Library was housed in Dillon Gym, which opened in 1947. Dillon Gym is now mainly used as the headquarters for the Campus Recreation program, and includes various administrative and varsity athletic coaches' offices. The majority of the collection is made up of published material such as athletic handbooks, rule guides and technique charts; athletic organization convention and conference reports; and university publications (sports schedules and programs, admissions material, faculty, staff, and alumni guides and fundraising publications). The collection contains several areas of focus—notably, material on women's sports at Princeton.

Series 1 includes materials on national and regional women's sports associations, the enactment of Title IX, and women's sports at Princeton, particularly during the tenure from 1970 to 1982 of Merrily Dean Baker, founding Director of Women's Physical Education at Princeton.

Princeton University was a participant in the first intercollegiate football game in America in 1869. Since then, the University has maintained a varsity football team, competing each season against other colleges in the Ivy League Athletic Conference, including traditional rival Yale. The collection consists of film reels documenting Princeton varsity football games between 1935 and 1990, as well as video of the 2012 season.

The Alumni Association of Nassau Hall, Princeton's first official organization of alumni, was founded on commencement day 1826. The collection consists primarily of administrative materials such as correspondence, meeting minutes, notebooks and reports belonging to both national and regional associations and their committees, most from the first half of the 20th century. Also contains newsletters, alumni directories, scrapbooks, reunion-related ephemera, photographs, and materials documenting reunions and alumni organization activities from the late 19th century forward.
