Series 4. 2014 Accession, 1966-2011
This accession is comprised of materials related to the Adela Investment Company, Inc. It contains some of the company's internal documentation, such as memoranda and the text of a presentation on divestiture given at a staff meeting. It also contains several reports, including notes on a talk by Peter F. Drucker summarizing an Adela management meeting, a report by Richard Boyle on the mobilization of capital, and a 1996 U.S. Agency for International Development study on venture capital. There is also correspondence between Richard Boyle and Eugene Gonzalez, the former Executive Vice President of Adela who later became President of the Board of Management, and a file on Ernst Keller, the Managing Director of Adela for its first ten years. Ernst Keller's file is mainly comprised of correspondence between himself and Richard Boyle. Both men's correspondence with Boyle mainly pertains to Boyle's project to collect stories on Adela's history.

This series contains one scrapbook compiled by Oliver, of articles (1934-1947) by and about her, press clippings of Oliver's published fiction and nonfiction, spanning 1918 to the 1960s(?), and printed articles about Oliver (1920s?-1988). The printed material includes short stories by Oliver and reviews of Oliver's books, including Mundo, mi casa, La vida cotidiana, and the posthumously-published Mi fe es el hombre. There is also a photocopy of Geografía Argentina, a book (26 pp.) for children, with text by María Rosa Oliver, published in Buenos Aires, in 1939. The series is arranged with the author's scrapbook first, followed by the printed material by or about Oliver in chronological order. Finally, there is one folder of miscellaneous printed material saved by Oliver, filed at the end.

The American Civil Liberties Union Records document the activities of the Union in protecting individual rights from 1920 through 1995. The files contain materials on freedom of speech, expression, and association; due process of law; equality before the law; legal case files; and organizational records. Within these categories files reflect subject areas such as academic freedom, censorship, racial discrimination, aliens' rights, privacy concerns, labor concerns, amnesty, and government loyalty and security. The files reflect work on litigation, advocacy and public policy, and subject files on various areas of interest connected with civil liberties. Materials include correspondence, court documents, memoranda, printed matter, minutes, reports, briefs, and legal files. Davies Collection on Hobey Baker, located in the University Archives, contains research materials gathered by Davies for the publication, The Legend of Hobey Baker (Little, Brown & Company, 1966). These papers contain correspondence, research notes, manuscript drafts, photographs and printed material pertaining to Hobey A. H. Baker's career as an athlete at St. Paul's Preparatory School, at Princeton University, and as a member of the American Expeditionary Force during World War I. Baker died in an airplane crash in 1918.
