Armstrong's works and research material on Edwin Lawrence Godkin (1831-1902), a founder and editor of The Nation (1865-1881) and editor of the New York Evening Post (1883-1900). The collection contains typed manuscripts of Armstrong's biography on Godkin along with other writings, as well as photocopies, microfilms, and typescripts of correspondence.
