The Office of General Counsel, established in 1972, provides legal counsel to officers and departments of the University, and serves as legal representative for the University in litigation, administrative matters, and transactions. The records contain correspondence, memoranda, interview transcripts, administrative material relating to the Office of General Counsel and other departments, legal documents, grant and tax reports, legal briefs, affidavits, depositions, as well as litigation material involving estates, trusts, gifts, University employees, and various individuals and corporations.

The Office of the General Counsel Public Website provides the Princeton community with information on legal matters related to Princeton, information about the office and its services, and legal resources and research. The site also contains a list of the office's attorneys and staff, areas of practice, legal facts about the University, and answers to frequently asked questions.

The Office of Development Communications creates a wide range of publications and other materials to support Princeton's fund-raising initiatives and to keep alumni, parents, and friends closely connected and well-informed about the life of the University. Consists of photographs, promotional materials and VHS tapes created for fundraising activities and publications.

Series 7: 2009 Accessions, 1990, 2007-2009 consists of photographs and promotional materials related to the dedication of sereral campus facilities and the Aspire campaign. Series 9: Office of Stewardship Records regarding Michael Mahoney '51 Scholarships includes files kept by Mahoney on the scholarships that he funded. They include correspondence from the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students regarding beneficiaries of scholarships, announcements from the Trustees regarding recipients, and thank-you letters from recipients of the scholarships.

Series 11: Commemorative Books for Donors includes several small books that recognize significant gifts in support of capital projects and programs from major donors such as William Scheide '36, David Jenner '51, Shelby Davis '58, Thomas Roberts '85, Robert Myslik '90, David Cordish P93 P96 and Anthony Yoseloff '96. Additional small booklets document the Aspire Campaign and the Anniversary Campaign and include the Decade of the 40s Scholarship Luncheon, the the New York Regional Kickoff, and "Learning." Additions include the Bill Bradley Statue Dedication (2015).

The Office of Communications is Princeton University's administrative department with oversight of media relations and publicity, official publications, web site design and development, and photographic services. The Office of Communications Records consist of subject files and photographs created by the office, some going back to the 1920s, when the first Director of Public Relations was appointed.

The General Manuscripts Collection consists of manuscripts and small collections of papers and records which are related in some way to the history of Princeton University. While most documents in the General Manuscripts collection were produced by alumni or student organizations, there are several documents produced by trustees, faculty, and other members of the University community.

The collection consists of class yearbooks that are published to mark class reunions and to provide updates on the lives of alumni.

Consists primarily of material relating to Ohio farmer Luzern Humphrey's overland journey from Kanesville, Iowa, to the Oregon Territory in 1852, his life there through 1853, and his return to Iowa in 1854, including his journal and 51 letters to his wife in Ohio. Also included are some papers relating to the family of William Miller, the founder of Adventism.

The Historical Subject Files Collection documents Princeton University history and related topics from 1746 to the present. The collection consists of documents in almost every two-dimensional format: articles, books and booklets, clippings, correspondence, memoranda, non-photographic images, notes, pamphlets, posters, and reports.

The Eating Club Records consist of manuscript and printed material from almost all the clubs. The records of individual eating clubs have been combined with material on Eating Clubs in general. This material includes correspondence, reports, minutes, financial statements, constitutions, and miscellaneous records. Printed material in the records consist of newspaper and magazine clippings, club membership books, and club histories.

The dissertations represent doctoral work in over forty graduate departments. They date from 1877 to the present and they are arranged chronologically.

Graduate work in a formal sense emerged at Princeton in the 1870s when President James McCosh added new faculty and graduate fellowships. This collection consists of theses submitted toward the fulfillment of requirements for master's degrees at Princeton University.

The Princeton University Printed Materials Collection is made up of programs, small newsletters, brochures, announcements and ephemera that are issued by University offices, departments and programs as well as by student organizations.

This collection contains more than 2,300 items, including film, videotapes, compact discs, audio cassette tapes, reel-to-reel tape, and record albums and covers a broad range of topics including classical music, alumni reunions, lectures, and interviews.

Subseries contains materials related to class reunions and parades.

The Alumni series contains materials related to classes, reunions, and general alumni activities such as class/alumni trips. The Alumni series is arranged into two subseries: General and Reunions.
