Series 6: Financial and Legal Records, 1885-1951
Series 6 contains financial records such as cancelled checks and books of check stubs, bank statements and receipts from both Lawrenceville School and Princeton eras, as well as Hutchinson's meal tickets from the Officers' Mess at Fort Bragg (May through December 1943). A few receipts date from a later period, in 1951, showing purchases for garden and farm supplies. The series also contains a folder of cancelled checks and a bank statement belonging to Martin Franklin, who was Hutchinson's roommate in 3 Blair Tower, during 1942.
Series 3: Event Programs and Ephemera, 1896-1951
Event programs point to some of Hutchinson's pursuits between 1940 and 1942—church services, theatrical productions, a debutante ball, a museum exhibit. Ephemera include items such as membership cards, game tickets, and railroad schedules from the early 1930s through 1944, as well as playing cards, a pen nib, and advertisements. Also included in Series 3 are printed programs from the Lawrenceville School (for commencement 1938 and 1939, for instance), as well as printed materials from the Army, such as the booklet "The Construction of Models for Protective Concealment" (1942) and a Field Artillery School Instruction Memorandum (1942).
Series 2: Schoolwork, 1897-1945
Schoolwork includes notes and notebooks as well as graded papers and exams from both the Lawrenceville School and Princeton University. Lawrenceville School material includes coursework in Mathematics, American History, English, and Latin. Hutchinson's school compositions include an essay on the "Pinies," people living in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey, as well as a tale about the "Jersey Devil." Other essays cover assigned topics such as the work of Shakespeare, Dickens, Browning, Shaw and Lytton Strachey, or the causes of the War of Independence.

The American Civil Liberties Union Records document the activities of the Union in protecting individual rights from 1920 through 1995. The files contain materials on freedom of speech, expression, and association; due process of law; equality before the law; legal case files; and organizational records. Within these categories files reflect subject areas such as academic freedom, censorship, racial discrimination, aliens' rights, privacy concerns, labor concerns, amnesty, and government loyalty and security. The files reflect work on litigation, advocacy and public policy, and subject files on various areas of interest connected with civil liberties. Materials include correspondence, court documents, memoranda, printed matter, minutes, reports, briefs, and legal files. Also included are materials from ACLU affiliate organizations, and the Lawyers Constitutional Defense Committee. Subgroup 2, Series 2, 3, and 4 have been digitized and are available for members of the Princeton community to view here. This series includes Frank's collection of reprints, offprints, and other copies of published writings by fellow academics, poets, and friends. Many are inscribed to Frank by the author. While most materials are scholarly and literary journal articles on French and Russian literature, sociology, and anthropology, also present are several chapbooks and poetry collections inscribed to Frank from poets Francis Ponge, John Berryman, and Theodore Weiss, as well as Yves Bonnefoy's translations of Y. B. Yeats. Printed material that was clearly an enclosure with letters sent to Frank was maintained alongside those letters in Series 1: Correspondence.

This series contains Oberdorfer's writings and research materials dating from his tenure at the Washington Post and after his retirement from journalism. The majority of the series is composed of Oberdorfer's notebooks that document his service as diplomatic correspondent at the Post and his work post-retirement. Other materials in this series include research materials and writings, such as speeches, notes, correspondence, interview transcripts, and articles, on a variety of topics.
Other Writings, 1930-2008
Some of the most prevalent topics in Oberdorfer's other writings are the political climates in Asia (particularly North and South Korea and Japan); U.S. foreign relations under the Ronald Reagan administration, especially during the tenure of Secretary of State Shultz; and Senator Mike Mansfield (1903-2001), the subject of Oberdorfer's 2003 biography. To a lesser extent, there are materials pertaining to Oberdorfer's affiliations with Princeton University and profiles on foreign political leaders. Of particular note are the typescript drafts of Oberdorfer's unpublished autobiography "Beyond the First Taxi Zone: Adventures of a Cold War Correspondent," which include excerpts from his notebooks. Other files throughout the series also contain excerpts from the notebooks and/or appear to have been created as part of Oberdorfer's research for his autobiography.

Series 4, General, 1944-2012
Series 4, General, 1944-2012 reflects Becker's personal activities. Becker used his financial and analytical skills throughout his career. He created a small file of his position papers, included are documents for the Investment Bankers Association of America, John J. Gilhooley during his bid for New York City Comptroller in 1961, and the Critical Issues Council directed by Milton Eisenhower. Some of these position papers can be found elsewhere in the series, for example the paper on the position of comptroller is found in the portfolio assembled by Becker and within the John Gilhooley correspondence. Other writings in this series include the foreign press reviews from Becker's Army service in the mid-1950s, and a manuscript entitled "Selling Municipal Bonds."

The bulk of the collection relates to the SCA's activities on campus (including the campus drive), in the local community, nationally (including the Student Christian Movement and the YMCA), and internationally (including the World's Student Christian Federation). A small group of files describe the activities of other campus religious societies grouped under the SCA's umbrella.
Series 2: Student-Faculty Association Records, 1930-1946
Series 2, Student-Faculty Association Records, 1930-1946, contains primarily papers from the files of the Assistant Dean of the Chapel, who served as the SFA's director. This series includes the SFA's board minutes and materials relating to the Association's various good works. Most important were its Depression relief activities and its programs to bring faculty and students together socially.
Series 1: Philadelphian Society, 1855 March-1970
Series 1, Philadelphian Society Records, 1855-1946, consists of bound volumes and files containing the Society's charter and by-laws, membership lists, and minutes of Society, board, and cabinet (undergraduate officer) meetings. (The bulk of the collection ends in 1930, while board minutes and correspondence continue until 1946, relating to business matters of the Princeton Summer Camp.) Files contain reports of general secretaries and committee chairs to the board and the cabinet. Committee records include bound volumes and files of membership and financial information, including information on the annual campus fund-raising drive, plus material relating to the Society's religious and social work. Among the Society's publications are several journals, the Student Handbook, and a newspaper. Files regarding Buchmanism contain testimony before President Hibben's committee of 1926, the committee's report, and clippings and correspondence related to the controversy. Several scrapbooks include correspondence, circulars and clippings regarding the Society's work on and off campus.

Series 3: Scrapbooks, 1863-1961
This series consists of seven scrapbooks (1863-1961), including one by Clinton Ledyard Blair documenting his years at Princeton University (1881-1890), and two related to John Insley Blair (1863-1908, 1899). This series is arranged chronologically by date.
John Insley Blair Family Papers, 1843-1961 (mostly 1891-1910)
Consists primarily of travel diaries, scrapbooks, and photograph albums composed by railroad industrialist John Insley Blair and his family. There is also a small selection of letters of Clinton Ledyard Blair regarding a fight over Woodrow Wilson's reforms at Princeton University and Blair's relationship with the University's Board of Trustees.

Series 3: Related Materials, 1940-1993
The Related Materials series includes materials pertaining to Rogow's research for his book James Forrestal: A Study of Personality, Politics, and Policy (The Macmillan Press: New York, 1963) and to the book's publication. Research materials include excerpts from speeches and articles by and about Forrestal, newspaper clippings about Forrestal and the medical treatment and privacy rights of public figures, the Federal Bureau of Investigation's (F.B.I.) file on Forrestal, Rogow's notes on his research, and notes and interview questions written by journalist John McLain in preparation for a biography he intended to write on Forrestal. Materials on the book's publication include correspondence to obtain permission to publish quotes and regarding the possibility of publishing a paperback edition of the book, and readers' responses to the book.
Series 1: Chapter Files, 1933-1962
The Chapter Files series contains materials Rogow collected to write chapters 2-9 of his book James Forrestal: A Study of Personality, Politics, and Policy (The Macmillan Press: New York, 1963). The majority of the material is copies of or excerpts from articles in The New York Times and other newspapers, portions of Forrestal's published diaries, and articles and speeches written during and after Forrestal's career in the U.S. military during World War II. Also included are Rogow's notes on his research and interviews he conducted and partial drafts of a few of the chapters.

Series 3: Publications and Scrapbooks, 1949-1967
Portion of Box 2 contains copies of Kazmaier's sports column, "Dick Kazmaier's Football," as well as correspondence and ephemera related to his life and career after Princeton.
Series 2: Photographs and Awards, 1949-2002
Box 3 contains 13 oversized photographs and awards: Princeton football team photographs from 1949 to 1951; Kazmaier's Varsity Award of 1952, certificates for two All-American football teams in 1951, a Charles Caldwell memorial print, an AP newsfeatures "Talented Tiger" illustration featuring Kazmaier, and a laminated poster for a much later PU salute shared with Bill Bradley (undated).
Series 1: Undergraduate Notebooks and Research Materials, 1949-1952
Box 1 and portion of Box 2 contain Kazmaier's course notebooks and lab books, including some examinations, for undergraduate work between 1949 and 1952. It contains Kazmaier's two junior papers in Psychology from 1951, his research materials for his senior thesis, and handwritten manuscript of the thesis ("The Company and the Union: A Case Study"). The box also contains a Princeton Calendar pamphlet publication naming Kazmaier as Man of the Week, a press release from Princeton Public Relations on the varsity season of 1950, and a list of undergraduates eligible for upperclass clubs in February 1950.

Series 3: Printed Material, 1909-1978
Consists of a small amount of assorted material arranged in the following groupings: articles by Yeats, miscellaneous about Yeats, clippings about Yeats, and miscellaneous by and about Jack (John) Butler Yeats.
Series 2: Copies, 1901-1978
Consists of the research material compiled by William Murphy, Glenn O'Malley, and Donald Torchiana, primarily typed transcripts and photocopies of the original correspondence by Yeats in the collection, as well as other correspondence by, to, and about Yeats. The majority of the transcripts and photocopies (with the exception of part of the John Quinn material) are housed in individual folders. These folders are arranged alphabetically, and then chronologically as explained in series I. A large portion is dedicated to the correspondence between John Quinn and Yeats, as well as Quinn and others, from the John Quinn Memorial Collection in the New York Public Library. The part of the John Quinn material not organized as above, includes photocopies from microfilm and autographed transcripts grouped separately in large folders. There are also files concerning the relationship between Yeats and Padraic Colum, miscellaneous research material, and microfilm of the Quinn letters.
