Consists primarily of the correspondence of 20th-century French poet René Char (1907-1988); a smaller subset includes correspondence and records documenting his involvement with the French Resistance during World War II.

There are also (9) photocopied Kazantzakis's own notebooks; Bien's notebooks (general and miscellaneous) containing clippings and other materials that relate to Kazantzakis's works and career; notebooks containing Bien's reading notes from secondary and primary materials or both; small notebooks with material he read. There are also typescripts; a copy of Kazantzakis's "Vios kai politeia tou Alexe Zorba" with marginal notes by Bien and three printed bibliographies: Katsimpale bibliography N. Kazantzakē A 1906-1948, Perantonakē bibliography N. Kazantzakē 1973-2002, and Mantatophoros #5 November 1974. There are also two small file boxes.

The Princeton Shakespeare Company was founded in 1994 by student Davis McCallum '97 and English professor Thomas P. Roche. Consists of clippings, photographs, flyers, press releases, and programs documenting the first years of the Princeton Shakespeare Company.

Elizabeth P. Benson is a curator and historian of Pre-Columbian art who has published and edited many works on the art of the ancient Americas. This small collection of Benson's papers contains material that reflects Benson's relationship with her friend and colleague Gillett G. Griffin, whose papers are also housed in the Princeton University Archives.

The collection includes correspondence to and from Mexican poet and Nobel Prize Laureate Octavio Paz (1914-1998) and French translator and friend Monique Fong Wust. Other correspondents include Robert Lebel, Marie-Jo Paz, and Juan García de Oteyza. Also included are original English typescripts of Paz's essay, "The Centurions of Santiago" with corrections and additions from Paz and Fong Wust, an annotated and corrected printed copy of Paz's Apariencia desnuda. Orange Key is a volunteer student organization that provides campus tours. The collection consists of records that document the activities of the Orange Key Guide Service, including tour routes, lists of tour guides, guide selection information, subject files, training materials, and procedure manuals, as well as a card index of buildings, inscriptions, sculptures, and other physical gifts donated to the University assembled by Orange Key Office as a reference for campus tour guides.

Marc Gaede (1946- ) is an American photographer, environmental activist, and teacher based in California. The collection consists of Gaede's black-and-white photographs of the American West and Southwest, correspondence, contracts, and other working files primarily related to his books on photography, archaeology, and conservation, and a large group of working files, which include audiovisual and digital materials, for a biography project Gaede collaborated on with Hunkpapa Lakota Sioux activist Robert Sundance (1927-1993).

Alexander D. Wainwright (Princeton Class of 1939) was an avid bookman and collector. He had a lengthy career at the Princeton University Library, serving as assistant university librarian for collection development and as curator of the Morris L. Parrish Collection of Victorian Novelists. His collection consists of of manuscripts, correspondence, drawings, and related material by and about Thomas Wolfe, the American novelist, playwright, and storywriter.

The Giōrgos Vakalo Papers consists primarily of papers by and relating to the Greek painter and stage designer George Vakalo (1902-1991). Included are autograph and typed manuscripts of Vakalo's notes, talks, articles, interviews, TV or radio productions, artwork, as well as his correspondence, notebooks, photographs, and printed matter, such as exhibition art catalogs, magazines, and clippings. Of particular importance are the hundreds pieces of his artwork in a variety of media (ink, pencil, watercolor, conté crayon, engravings) and on a variety of supports (paper, carton, and canvas).

Murrow Chair at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, and personal correspondence.

WPRB is the student-operated FM radio station of Princeton University, providing music and live sports broadcasts to the Princeton campus community and surrounding areas. William Byler was Executive Director of the Association on American Indian Affairs (AAIA) from 1962 to 1980. After leaving AAIA, Byler continued advocating for the Native American community, first at Gerard, Byler and Associates and later at William Byler Associates. Byler's papers document his work on behalf of the Native American community after leaving AAIA. The papers include legal memoranda, draft and final agreements between Native American communities and companies or government agencies, and court documents, as well as topical files of related legislation and reports on the issues.

The Council on Foreign Relations is a nonprofit, nonpartisan research and national membership organization dedicated to promoting improved understanding of international affairs and to contributing ideas to United States foreign policy. The Meetings Series documents the work of the Council's Meetings Department, including administrative issues, such as correspondence with speakers, attendance records, and the non-attribution rule, as well as the records of the actual meetings themselves.

The U.S. Department of Energy Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) is a Collaborative National Center for plasma and fusion science. Its primary mission is to develop the scientific understanding and the key innovations which will lead to a new fusion energy source. The PPPL Records include digitized historical negatives and publications from the PPPL Communications Office, documenting the people, projects, events, activities and physical grounds of the laboratory through a span of 49 years.

Norman B. Ryder (1923-2010) was a demographer and sociologist who specialized in fertility studies and established the cohort approach to demographic study. The Ryder papers contain his working research notes, drafts, and publications, as well as correspondence and administrative papers from Ryder's teaching career.

Also, includes letters from Ēlias Lephousēs to Thomas Kofodimos and to Joan Kofodimos, family photographs and miscellaneous photographs of ELAS (Greek People's Liberation Army) leaders, materials related to Kofodimos' escape from Greece, information about his career after coming to the United States, various memoirs and personal history, death notices and obituaries of Kofodimos' both in the United States and in Greece.

Corporate and Foundation Relations is an office within the department of Research at Princeton that raises funds to support education, research, and scholarship at the University. The collection includes annual reports (1980-1997), department statistics (1988-1993), and campaign status reports (1981-1985).

R. W. Apple, Jr. (1934-2006) was a journalist, correspondent and editor at the New York Times. Apple covered a variety of topics including war, revolution, politics and government, and food and drink. The collection is composed of Apple's research for his travel writings on various cities, countries, and chefs. The research is comprised of reporter's notebooks, annotated menus, maps, and news clippings. The collection also includes correspondence and personal documents such as baptismal records, marriage licenses, and family photographs.

Neil Goldstein (b. 1950) and Jerry Feldman (b. 1947) were filmmakers who made a documentary regarding Morris "Moe" Berg (1902-1972), a professional baseball player who also served in the Office of Strategic Service (OSS) during World War II. This collection, dating from 1921 to 1995, consists of Neil Goldstein's working files, including production files for the film and audio and video segments and masters of the documentary; and research on Moe Berg, including hours of oral histories and photocopies of Moe Berg's documents, particularly those created during World War II.

The Brandt & Brandt Contract Files consists primarily of contract files from Brandt & Brandt, the New York City literary agency, for published works where the rights have reverted to the author. Some represented authors are Margaret Banning, Bessie Brewer, Raymond Chandler, Carlos Fuentes, Arthur Machen, Mary McCarthy, Derek Patmore, Edna St. Vincent Millay, and Wallace Stegner. The Fuentes material (1967-1995) is extensive and covers a fuller range of literary agency activities.

Consists of correspondence, manuscripts, and ephemera by and relating to John Steinbeck collected by Preston Beyer, cofounder of the John Steinbeck Society of America. Included is a large amount of correspondence (circa 1939-1993) of Beyer with bibliographers, critics, collectors, biographers, universities, friends, and relatives concerned with the life and works of John Steinbeck.

The James A. Baker III Oral History Project is a joint project run by the Seeley G. Mudd Library at Princeton University and the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy at Rice University. The collection consists of transcripts and audio files of interviews with individuals who knew and worked closely with James A. Baker III during his career in politics and public service.

Samuel W. Lewis (1930-2014) was an American diplomat who is best known for his 1977-1985 service as U.S. Ambassador to Israel and active presence during the 1978 Camp David Summit. The Samuel W. Lewis Papers consist of speeches, correspondence, journals, oral history transcripts, and scrapbooks documenting Lewis's long career in the U.S. foreign service.

This collection of Peruvian ephemera contains flyers, pamphlets, and reports, as well as magazines and serials.

The PAW is successor to the Alumni Princetonian, a weekly publication of the Daily Princetonian. In 1919 the Princeton Printing Company dissolved and printing of the PAW was taken over by the Princeton University Press. The PAW was a weekly magazine during the school year until changing to its current bi-weekly format in 1977. The magazine is now published during the academic year for alumni and professional staff of the University.

Dolores Koch is a noted translator and reviewer of Latin American literature. The materials in this collection were accumulated during her work with Reinaldo Arenas, a Cuban writer living in New York City. Koch translated two of Arenas's books and worked as part of a team handling publication and rights for his work after his death in 1990.

Consists of 136 letters sent by Reinaldo Arenas to Margarita and Jorge Camacho. Also contains 35 letters by Arenas' mother, Oneida Fuentes, to Margarita and Jorge Camacho.

The Princeton University Library Collection of Historical Subject Files, Grounds and Buildings contains information relating to the buildings, grounds, and architects of Princeton University. The collection also includes information on the development of the campus and the various chronologies of construction and land acquisition that have been gathered.
