This subseries contains original manuscripts, typescripts, and copies of manuscripts of Allen's books, screenplays and prose pieces written for different magazines and journals. Some of the manuscripts have not been published or produced as films. The manuscripts include drafts for Allen's more recent movie projects, Cassandra's Dream (2007) and Midnight in Barcelona (released as Vicky Cristina Barcelona, 2008). The folders are arranged in alphabetical order by title or by subject. There are two boxes of miscellaneous, untitled manuscripts, screenplays and essays at the end.
