The John Watson Dalby and George James De Wilde Collection consists of correspondence between John Watson Dalby (b. 1799) and George James De Wilde (1804-1871) covering the years 1826-1871. Both were poets and literary men, as well as friends of Leigh Hunt, whom their letters frequently concern. Dalby's letters often include verses of his poetry, excerpts of Leigh Hunt's works, and discussions on other contemporary authors. Dalby's published work includes Poems (London, 1822) and Tales, Songs, and Sonnets (London, 1866).

The John W. Comfort Papers consists of a letter, hand-drawn map, detailed narrative, military service history, and photograph of the career soldier John W. Comfort (1844-1893). The map and narrative document Comfort's experience fighting Big Foot's Sioux band at the Battle of Wounded Knee, 29 December 1890.

The papers of Joseph A. Robinson, Princeton Class of 1931, are comprised almost entirely of Robinson's letters to his family during the years 1941-1952, when Robinson worked in the Office of War Information and the Foreign Service. The collection includes some drafts and copies of his work, radio scripts and newspaper clippings, as well as photographs, currency, invitations and postcards. Some of the later letters cover portions of his term in the Foreign Service, though with significant gaps. The most fully documented year is 1946. Robinson was involved in the establishment of informational and cultural affairs agencies in Saigon and Warsaw, and describes the internal politics and external challenges of creating an American news presence overseas.

Joseph Coy Green (Princeton Class of 1908) served in a number of State Department positions, including his appointment as special representative to the International Institute of Agriculture in Rome (1931), chairman of the Armaments Commission (1944-1946), member of the U.S. Mission to observe the elections in Greece (1946), director of the Foreign Service Board of Examiners, and ambassador to Jordan (1952-1953). Included in this collection are correspondence, journals, scrapbooks, diaries, reports, notes, and printed matter.

Joseph D. Bennett was an author in the first part of the twentieth-century and co-founder of The Hudson Review. His papers include drafts of his work, correspondence with family, photographs, papers of other people, and a copy of his will.

Joseph Edward Raycroft was Princeton University's Chairman of the Department of Health and Physical Education. The Papers contain correspondence, writings, press-releases, reports, newspaper clippings, photographs, and memorabilia documenting Raycroft's personal life and career. Also included are library catalog lists and other material related to Raycrofts Library of memorabilia

Consists of a ledger (1792–1801), daybook (1796–1801), and receipt book (1810–1814) of Joseph Reynolds of South Kingstown, RI. Customer names include slaveholders, African Americans, and Indigenous Peoples. Some accounts list "Negro" next to the customer's name, such as Stephen Gardner on page 73 of the ledger. Surnames that appear frequently include Babcock, Champlin, Gardiner, Gardner, Hazard, Potter, and Watson.

Consists of the ship's papers of Joseph Tucker while he was shipmaster of several Wiscasset, Maine, merchant ships. The materials reflect the trading activities of a thirty-year period (1841-1875) between ports including Charleston (SC), Savannah (GA), Liverpool, England, and Le Havre de Grâce (today, Le Havre), France.

The Joshua Butler Wright Papers (1909-1938) document a thirty year diplomatic career in legations and embassies of the United States in Europe and South America and as Assistant Secretary of State under President Calvin Coolidge. The Collection contains correspondence, documents, publications and most notably, diaries reflecting Wright's impressions of various official and non-official activities.

Consists of the personal correspondence of Josiah S. Studdiford (1837-1862), documenting his service with the 4th New Jersey Infantry during the U.S. Civil War, including battles in which he was involved; his capture and time as a prisoner of war at Libby Prison (Va.) in the summer of 1862; and his death during the Battle of South Mountain (Md.) on September 14, 1862. Also included is the largely personal correspondence of several of Studdiford's relatives, including his grandfather, John Neely Simpson (1770-1832); his brother, Peter Augustus Studdiford (1828-1886); and his uncles, James Hervey Simpson (1813-1883) and Josiah Simpson (1815-1874). Many of those represented were Princeton University graduates.

Consists of correspondence, financial documents (e.g. account books and receipts), ephemera, and legal documents (e.g. permits, contracts, and affidavits) from J. O. Simmons (1821-1890). Simmons worked in a variety of professions in Ohio, Minnesota, Mississippi, Louisiana, and the Dakota Territory, including as a merchant, storekeeper, farmer, attorney, surveyor, county clerk, justice of the peace, and homeopathic doctor. The collection largely documents agricultural and mercantile exchanges on the Mississippi River during and after the American Civil War, the employment of African American and immigrant laborers during the early Reconstruction era, and land dispute issues among white settlers in the Territory of Dakota in the 1870s.

José Martínez Sotomayor was a Mexican lawyer, judge, and writer who published novels, short stories, and nonfiction. His personal papers includes correspondence and autograph and typescript manuscripts of three of Martínez Sotomayor's books.

Consists of a small group of papers of J. Paul Baldeagle (Princeton University Class of 1923), a South Dakota-born Sioux, who was a schoolteacher for 35 years at William MacFarland High School in Bordentown, New Jersey, as well as a Native American rights activist.

Juan Gelman (1930-2014) was an Argentine poet, translator, journalist, and human rights activist. His papers contain handwritten, typewritten, and printouts of his writings, correspondence, notes, research files, awards and certificates, and personal photographs. A significant portion of the papers feature analog and born-digital investigative files relating to human rights investigations and campaigns Gelman conducted with his spouse, Mara La Madrid, on the forced kidnapping and death of his son and pregnant daughter-in-law, Marcelo Gelman and María Claudia García Irureta Goyena. Also included are files on his search to find his missing granddaughter, Macarena Gelman. Additional materials consist of original drafts and documents related to Juan Gelman's writing; letters; publishing contracts; documents about Juan Gelman's work as a translator; materials related to the campaign to lift the ban on Juan Gelman's entry into Argentina and his return to Buenos Aires; newspaper and magazine clippings related to the ban on Juan Gelman's entry into Argentina, as well as celebrating his return; materials related to Marcelo and Paulina, including photographs of Gelman and the family; works by other writers; and audio cassettes.

Juan José Saer was an Argentine novelist, poet, and literary scholar. This collection contains his notebooks, notes, and drafts of essays, interviews, novels, poetry, and short stories. Also includes photographs of Saer and the city of Santa Fe, Argentina.

Julia Burt Atteberry was the daughter of Maxwell Struthers Burt (Princeton Class of 1904) and Katharine Newlin Burt, who were both writers and established one of the first "dude" ranches in the West. This collection consists of correspondence between various members of the Burt family and some of their manuscripts, miscellaneous correspondence, documents, and journals.

Julia Marlowe (1866-1950), who was also known as Sarah Frances Frost, was an American actress and Shakespearean performer. Her collection consists chiefly of letters to Ida Rissland Perscheid. Also included are photographs of both Marlowe and her husband, E. H. Sothern, articles by and about them, memorabilia, and scrapbooks of newspaper clippings.

Julian L. Street (1879-1947) was a novelist and essayist especially noted for his writing and expertise about food and wine. He was also a friend and great admirer of Theodore Roosevelt. Street's papers on Theodore Roosevelt are composed of correspondence, the majority being letters from Roosevelt to Street, as well as copies of articles, clippings, and other related materials which Street collected and prepared for a book of manuscript materials documenting his association with Roosevelt.

The Julio Cortázar Papers consists of the manuscripts, notes, and notebooks of the Argentine novelist and short story writer Julio Cortázar (1914-1984). These papers primarily contain unpublished prose and poetry, as well as some manuscripts of published materials. Though Cortázar is not generally thought of as a poet, poetry is heavily represented in the collection, including a notebook of poems he wrote at the age of 12 (1927). There are also Spanish translations of some of Jean Cocteau's poetry, and lecture notes from two courses that Cortázar taught. Furthermore, the papers contain a small selection of quotations collected from the work of others, and notebooks that include an assortment of prose, poetry, and notes.

This collection documents Julius Coles's long career in public affairs, notably his service with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and with Africare. It contains speeches, briefing materials, grant proposals, brochures, correspondence, reports, clippings, and audiovisual materials.

Julius C. Hall and his friend Jared T. Kimberly grew up together in rural Wallingford, Connecticut, and went to California to seek their fortunes during the early days of the Civil War. Hiking through the wilderness from San Francisco to Oregon, they nearly lost their lives in an Indian attack, before enlisting together in Company K of the 1st California Infantry Regiment, which embarked on an epic march from San Francisco to Fort Craig in New Mexico. This collection contains first-hand accounts of these two men's Civil War service as they encountered the occasional Confederate sympathizer, but more often Apaches and Navajos who were resisting American encroachment into their territory.

Consists of programs for orations given at commencement, oration contests held by the American Whig and Cliosophic Societies, and other orations given on campus. The programs generally contain the date of the orations, lists of participants, and the subjects to be covered.

Karl Klare is a legal theorist prominent in the field of Critical Legal Studies (CLS). The Karl Klare Papers document Klare's work in the CLS movement. The papers include correspondence and planning materials for CLS conferences, publications and readings assembled for CLS conferences, as well as class readings and syllabi.

The Karl L. Rankin Papers consist of correspondence, writings, memoranda, diaries, scrapbooks, and photo albums kept by Mr. Rankin which span his lifetime and career as an ambassador.

Karl S. Twitchell was an American mining engineer who conducted extensive surveys in the Middle East, Europe, and South America between 1915 and the 1950s. His papers document the span of his career, particularly his interest in the Middle East, and include correspondence, journals, notes, reports, writings, topical files, photographs, and maps. Personal documents and correspondence with family and associates are also contained.

The collection consists primarily of Fox's correspondence with alumni, faculty, and administrators during his tenure as Keeper of Princetoniana.

The Kennett Love Papers contain correspondence, subject files, writings, tape recordings and other material relating to the career of Love as a writer and journalist. Most of the material deals with Love's book, Suez: The Twice Fought War.

The collection consists of letters by American educator and playwright Louis Ellsworth Laflin (Princeton Class of 1924) to George R. Kernodle (a friend from Yale Drama School), written over thirty-three years. Also included are Laflin's notes and papers on Asian/Indian, Egyptian, and Greek drama, copies of six plays written by him, and copies of two essays on the founding and history of Princeton's Theatre Intime.

The collection consists of personal papers of Kimon Friar, one of the first and most prolific translators of modern Greek poetry into English. His work helped bring modern Greek literature to the attention of the international public.

The collection consists of seventeen oral history interviews conducted by Kim Worthington, a graduate student in Princeton University's Department of History, as part of her research for her Ph.D. dissertation on the writings of and about Nelson Mandela.

Consists primarily of over 250 letters and postcards (1952-1979) written by American poet Elizabeth Bishop to her English friends Ilse and Kit Barker, and includes many photographs of Bishop's home in Brazil.

Kōnstantinos Stamatēs (1764-1817) was a Greek patriot and secret agent working for the French government and for Michael Soutzo, the Prince of Wallachia and Moldavia, during the French Revolution. The collection consists of one hundred and ninety-eight letters from Stamatēs to Panagiōtēs Kodrikas (1762-1827), then secretary to Soutzo. Letters are primarily in Greek and are addressed from Paris (November 25, 1788 - 11 September 1793), Rouen (September 17, 1793), Le Havre-de-Grâce (September 30, 1793), Hamburg (October 15, 1793 - February 22, 1794), and Altona (March 1 - December 27, 1794).

This collection consists of personal papers of Kostas and Linda S. Myrsiades, including correspondence, autograph manuscripts and typescripts, photographs, printed and audio material.

The Kreuger & Toll Company, founded by Ivar Kreuger, was the holding company of an international match trust based in Sweden whose securities were popular during the 1920s. The company was organized as a giant pyramid scheme and went bankrupt in 1932. The Kreuger & Toll Company Records document the company's bankruptcy and include court and legal documents and accountants' reports.

These records include the working papers of Kristen Timothy in preparation for the 1995 United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women held in Beijing. They contain materials that document the evolution of the Platform for Action adopted at the conference from a short statement of major campaigns for the international community to mount, drawing on the recommendations of three previous world conferences on women organized by the UN, to a major statement of policy goals in twelve critical areas of concern to women and girls globally.

The papers comprise documents relating to all periods of the life of Kurt Gödel, foremost mathematical logician of the twentieth century, including scientific correspondence, notebooks, drafts, unpublished manuscripts, academic, legal, and financial records, and all manner of loose notes and memoranda.

Kurt Weitzmann left his native Germany in 1935 for Princeton where he spent the remainder of his life, at the Institute for Advanced Study as a permanent member (1935-1972) and as a professor in Princeton University's Dept. of Art and Archaeology (1945-1972). Included are personal and professional correspondence, related files, course outlines, lectures, manuscripts and notes for various published works, scrapbooks of clippings, and printed matter.
