The Russell papers contain drafts and carbon copies of some 13,000 letters which Russell wrote over the years 1908 - 1950 (approx.). These letters are arranged alphabetically by correspondent and then chronologically for each correspondent. Correspondents include not only individuals, but businesses, scientific societies, schools and divisions of Princeton University. Letters to individuals filed under corporate entries may be located by consulting the file of white cards in the manuscripts catalogue.
