Princeton in Africa (PiAf) is an independent affiliate of Princeton University that seeks to develop young leaders and advance Africa through humanitarian efforts. The Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies (PIIRS) is Princeton University's international and regional studies center. The Princeton Nassoons are a close-harmony, all male, student a cappella group that formed in the late 1930s. The collection consists primarily of the Princeton Nassoons' original musical arrangements and correspondence.

The U.S. Department of Energy Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) is a Collaborative National Center for plasma and fusion science. Its primary mission is to develop the scientific understanding and the key innovations which will lead to a new fusion energy source. The PPPL Records include digitized historical negatives and publications from the PPPL Communications Office, documenting the people, projects, events, activities and physical grounds of the laboratory through a span of 49 years.

The Princeton Prize in Race Relations was established in 2003 by alumni volunteers to recognize and encourage high school students who have made efforts to improve racial harmony. The Princeton Prize in Race Relations Records consist of the files of the founder of the Princeton Prize, Henry Von Kohorn '66.

Founded in 1930 as a cooperative enterprise of the History, Politics, and Economics Departments of Princeton University at the undergraduate level, the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs has since grown into one of the nation's foremost centers for professional public policy education, offering degrees on both the undergraduate and graduate level and contributing original research in a wide variety of fields related to public and international affairs. The Princeton University Asian American Students Association (AASA) was organized in 1971 to address the needs of Asian American students at Princeton through social, cultural, political, and educational programs. The Asian American Students Association Records chiefly consist of correspondence, petitions, reports, and proposals that document the campaign for developing an Asian American Studies program at Princeton as well as records that document campus events and activities led and sponsored by the Asian American Student Association.

The Class Records consist of a diverse set of materials documenting the history and activities of Princeton University classes during their time as undergraduates and as alumni. The Princeton University Printed Materials Collection is made up of programs, small newsletters, brochures, announcements and ephemera that are issued by University offices, departments and programs as well as by student organizations.

The Princeton University Publications collection contains issues of nearly 150 different periodicals published by the university and related organizations, as well as a few items published by others about the university, that have not been cataloged individually.

Formed in the fall of 1972 under the direction of Coach Penny Hinckley, the Princeton Women's Lacrosse team was the first women's team at Princeton to reach an NCAA Final. The collection documents the history of the Princeton Women's Lacrosse team and contains a variety of records including clippings, statistics, schedules, practice notes, and a number of videorecordings of games. Also included are a limited amount of videorecordings, photographs and publications on women's field hockey.

Since its founding in 1979, the Program in Hellenic Studies at Princeton University has aimed to promote and support the teaching and study of Byzantine and modern Greek civilization. The Project on Ethnic Relations (PER) was a not-for-profit organization based in Princeton, NJ concerned with the course of interethnic conflicts during the post-communist transitions in Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and former Soviet Union, and the Balkans following 1989 and extending into the 21st century. The collection consists of paper and digital reports and records of consultations, meetings, roundtables (and discussions and preparations for roundtables), and correspondence with leaders of political parties and representatives of governments and international organizations.

Ricardo Piglia was an Argentine author and professor emeritus of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese Languages and Cultures at Princeton University. His papers contain handwritten and typewritten drafts of his writings, diaries and journals, notebooks, loose handwritten research notes, teaching files, correspondence, personal photographs, and born-digital materials.

Richard T. Arndt (1928-) worked in cultural diplomacy for over two decades for the U.S. Information Agency and the Department of State. The collection contains his papers, speeches, article clippings, and correspondence related to cultural diplomacy.

Richard C. Holbrooke was an American diplomat who led negotiations at the Dayton Accords for peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1995. The Richard C. Holbrooke Papers contain Holbrooke's subject files, records of public statements, correspondence, writings and drafts of writings, articles and periodicals, and audiovisual materials.

The material in this collection pertains not only to an individual, Richard Schechner, but also to TDR, The Drama Review, a scholarly journal concerned with the broad range of performance in society and in the arts. Schechner, a renowned scholar, director, writer, and educator, edited The Drama Review from 1962-1969 and again from 1986 to the present date. Particularly in the 1960s, and again in the 1990s, both Schechner and TDR challenged traditional, prevailing ideas about theater-what it is, how it should be presented, and the ritual and ideals behind it. Schechner argued for thinking of "performance" as an all-encompassing genre with "theater" as one of its sub-categories. He is widely recognized as the founder of "performance studies" as an academic discipline. In the process of working out what performance studies is, Schechner and his colleagues at New York University created new ideas and new ways of thinking that still affect today's world of performance, theater, dance, and the social sciences. As "the journal of performance studies," TDR did much to shape the new discipline.

Richardson Auditorium (formerly known as Alexander Hall) is Princeton University's premiere performance venue for a wide variety of events including concerts, plays, lectures, and dance performances. Robert B. Oakley (1931-2014) was a Foreign Service Officer who served as U.S. Ambassador to Zaire, Somalia, and Pakistan. The collection consists of a comprehensive oral history with Oakley, along with his various speeches, articles, and papers on the topics of U.S. diplomacy and foreign relations.

Robert Fagles (1933-2008) was an American professor, poet, and academic, best known for his contemporary translations of ancient Greek and Latin classics, especially his acclaimed translations of the epic poems of Homer. The papers consist of professional and publishing correspondence, along with manuscript and typescript drafts, corrected proofs and galleys, notes, revisions, and other files regarding his English translations of ancient Greek and Latin texts, including Homer's Iliad and Odyssey, Virgil's Aeneid, Aeschylus's Oresteia, Sophocles's Three Theban Plays, as well as poems by Bacchylides and Pindar.

Robert Finn is a an American diplomat, a lecturer in Turkish Studies and International Relations, and a translator of Turkish fiction and poetry. The Robert Finn Papers consist of writings, drafts, speeches, photographs, and a number of audiovisual materials related to Ambassador Finn's career as a diplomat, translator, and Princeton lecturer.

Consists of Robert Moore's files on Ernest Gordon (1916-2002), WWII veteran, author, and former Presbyterian dean of the Princeton University chapel, including correspondence, applications, programs, clippings, and other materials relating to Moore's nomination of Gordon for the 2002 Templeton Prize for Progress in Religion; the motion picture "To End All Wars" (2001) based on Gordon's book "Through the Valley of the Kwai" (1962) (including the DVD); Gordon's death; and CREED (Christians Efforts for the Emancipation of Dissidents). Roberto González Echevarría is a Cuban-born critic and Sterling Professor of Hispanic and Comparative Literature at Yale University. This collection contains his correspondence with Severo Sarduy and other writers and critics including among them Alejo Carpentier, Miguel Barnet, Antonio Benítez Rojo, Guillermo Cabrera Infante, Nancy Morejón, Octavio Paz, Edgardo Rodríguez Juliá, Luis Rafael Sánchez, Mario Vargas Llosa, Calvin Trilin, J. Wright, Carlos Fuentes, Julio Cortázar, Rosario Ferré, and José Donoso. Also in the collection are typescripts, audio recordings, photographs, and printed materials particularly relating to González Echevarría's work on Sarduy.

Robert Ross is an economist specializing in developing Countries. This collection contains reports on the U.S.S.R.; investment proposals; government reports; internal documentation from the Adela Investment Company; documents on the Latin American Agribusiness Development Corporation and the Société Internationale Financière pour les Investissements et le Développement en Afrique; and Richard Boyle's correspondence with Eugene Gonzalez and Ernst Keller.

The Robertson Foundation was established in 1961 to expand and support the graduate program of the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Rodolfo Alonso is an Argentine poet, translator, essayist, and editor. The collection includes Alonso's correspondence with various Latin American writers including Carlos Drummond de Andrade, Raúl Gustavo Aguirre, Juan Gelman, Augusto Roa Bastos, Juan José Saer, Ernesto Sábato, Lêdo Ivo, Hector Tizón, Edgar Bayley, António Ramos Rosa, Milton de Lima Sousa, and Claudio Magris. In addition, the collection includes photographs of Alonso throughout his career with many Latin American figures as well as a personal collection of his family and travels.

Correspondence, personal and business files, publicity materials, drafts, photography props, teaching materials, appointment books, and memorabilia of Ruth Bernhard (1905-2006), a German-born American photographer and teacher, active in the United States from the late 1920s through the early 2000s, best known for her complex black-and-white still lifes and classical photographs of the female nude. The papers contain professional correspondence and files, personal correspondence with friends and students, a small amount of photographic work and writings, some drafts and proofs for publications, publicity folios, exhibition catalogs and announcements, posters, props used for still life photography and teaching, planners, and a large collection of memorabilia, including snapshots of Bernhard, collected fine art photographs and artwork by others, photograph albums, gifts, personal effects, awards, and some audio and visual materials.

R. W. Apple, Jr. (1934-2006) was a journalist, correspondent and editor at the New York Times. Apple covered a variety of topics including war, revolution, politics and government, and food and drink. The collection is composed of Apple's research for his travel writings on various cities, countries, and chefs. The research is comprised of reporter's notebooks, annotated menus, maps, and news clippings. The collection also includes correspondence and personal documents such as baptismal records, marriage licenses, and family photographs.

Samuel W. Lewis (1930-2014) was an American diplomat who is best known for his 1977-1985 service as U.S. Ambassador to Israel and active presence during the 1978 Camp David Summit. The Samuel W. Lewis Papers consist of speeches, correspondence, journals, oral history transcripts, and scrapbooks documenting Lewis's long career in the U.S. foreign service.

The School of Architecture, previously known as the School of Architecture and Urban Planning, is Princeton University's academic unit dedicated to the teaching and study of architecture and related topics. Tom and Ellen Crane are the parents of a Princeton Class of 2010 men's hockey player. The collection consists of email newsletters written by the Cranes for the families and fans of the Princeton men's hockey team.

Todd S. Purdum (1959-) is a political journalist whose work has appeared in a number of publications, including Vanity Fair, The New York Times, and POLITICO. The collection is mostly composed of Purdum's research materials on various political and cultural figures created for his work with Vanity Fair. Other noteworthy materials in the collection relate to Purdum's senior thesis written for Princeton University's History Department on the Eisenhower-era State Department's Loyalty-Security Program.

Tom Reed, a 1971 alumnus with a Master's degree in Public Affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School, is an administrator in the New York City Department of Health as well as a graphic designer and illustrator who has published several instructional works and children's books. The collection consists of computer graphics and illustrations created by Reed of Princeton-related subjects such as James Madison and Albert Einstein, as well as artwork for Association of Princeton Graduate Alumni reunions.

Toni Morrison (born Chloe Ardelia Wofford, 1931-2019) was a Nobel prize-winning American author, editor, and Professor Emeritus at Princeton University. The collection documents the operations of the firm from its establishment in 1948 through its sale in 1991, and also includes some later records from as recent as 2012 related to its continued operation as an imprint of the Orion Publishing Group.

William Horne and Ernest Hemingway were lifelong friends. Horne met Hemingway while a volunteer ambulance driver for the American Red Cross during World War I. They were stationed in Schio, Italy, and drove together on the same ambulance. After Hemingway's failed engagement to Agnes von Kurowsky, they shared an apartment in Chicago during the fall of 1920. When Hemingway married Hadley Richardson in September 1921, Horne was in the wedding party. When the writer died in 1961, Horne was an honorary pallbearer.
