Consists of over one hundred autograph and typed letters (chronologically arranged in 8 folders by date), mostly signed by Harris, to his friend and agent, Esar Levine, dating from 1920 to 1930 and discussing various publication and marketing strategies for My Life and Loves in both Mexico and America, as well as personal and financial matters. There are also letters to Harris and Levine from their mutual business associates, and from such notable persons as Otto Kahn, H.L. Mencken, Upton Sinclair, and G.S. Viereck, arranged by correspondent. Also present is a typed copy of a letter from G. Bernard Shaw to Harris's widow, Nellie O'Hara Harris, as well as one folder of her sporadic correspondence with Levine, ending with the news of her death in 1955

Nancy Crawshaw's photographs are presented in albums with explanatory notes, as negatives with thumbnails, and as mounted and unmounted prints. They include photographs of Greece, Cyprus, Yugoslavia, Albania, Bulgaria, and the Middle East. The photographs on Greece focus on different topics including classical antiquities, agriculture, the Greek Civil War, shipbuilding, fishing, and architecture. There are also photographs from her accompaniment of UN expeditions in the Balkans. Her photographs on the Middle East include photographs of Turkey and photographs taken on assignment for G.B. Instructional Films on Syria and Lebanon and for the British Foreign Office on Iraq's oil industry.
The copies of Crawshaw's published work include two scrapbooks of newspaper clippings, pamphlets and magazines containing her articles and photographs, and loose cuttings and tearsheets of her articles and photographs.

Consists of typescripts of US Press reactions regarding the Cyprus issue, including The New York Times, the New York Herald Tribune, the Christian Science Monitor, and the Washington Post. There is also attached a summary of the armour's report on Greece to Senate Committee.
This sub-series consists primarily of manuscripts of Baird's published and unpublished works between 1932 and 1990, including Controlled Substances, the novel Baird was working on at the time of his death. Many of the works also contain notes, writing journals, correspondence between Baird and his publishers and editors, fan mail, and reviews. Within some of the notes files there are clippings of articles and advertisements that inspired Baird, as well as hand-drawn maps that he used to construct fictional settings. The published works found in the collection include Triumphal Entry (1962), The Old Masters (1963), People Who Pull You Down (1970), The Way to the Old Sailors Home (1977), Poor Millie (1978), Villa Aphrodite (1984) and Smart Rats (1990) [young adult]. Some of these works include author's proofs, galley proofs, and folded and gathered sheets. This sub-series is arranged alphabetically by title and then chronologically by date.

This sub-series consists of the correspondence Baird received from his family members Alice Baird [mother], Edgar Baird [father] and Sarah Lee Baird [sister] (1947-1948). There are also letters from Alice to Agnes Eckley, Baird's nursemaid and family friend (1941-1942), and letters from Baird to Agnes (1938-1984). These letters document Baird's time at Princeton, his military service and beyond. Lastly, there are a few letters between Baird and Thomas Eckley (1987-1988), son of Agnes and Baird's namesake. Upon the death of his mother, Thomas Eckley returned to Baird both Baird and Alice's letters to Agnes. This sub-series is arranged alphabetically by correspondent.
