The collection consists of selected holograph and typescript manuscripts of nonfiction, lectures, essays, poetry, translations, and paraphrases of Williams, as well as correspondence and documents pertaining to him, correspondence of other persons, and some of his works in print.

Charles Ruas is an American author, interviewer, editor, literary and art critic, and French translator, who served as the Director of the Drama and Literature Department for New York's Pacifica radio station WBAI-FM in the late 1970s and interviewed writers for radio broadcast and print, including Toni Morrison, Michel Foucault, Carlos Fuentes, Eudora Welty, Susan Sontag, Truman Capote, Buckminster Fuller, Andy Warhol, Mario Vargas Llosa, and others. Included are photographs and documents on Allen Ginsberg and William Burroughs, the St. Marks poetry project, and avant-garde artists and performers. The papers include transcripts and audiocassette tapes of Ruas's interviews with authors and artists, as well as typescripts and galleys of work by writers Ruas edited, including Marguerite Young, and some related photographs, notes, recordings, and correspondence. There are also some translations and other writings by Charles Ruas, as well as a collection of family photographs and papers documenting the history of his family in Tianjin, China, from the 1860s through the mid-20th century.

American art historian Charles Rufus Morey (1877-1955) served as professor in the Department of Art and Archaeology at Princeton University from 1918-1945 and as chairman from 1924-1945. The collection includes Morey's drafts for catalogues, mainly at the Museo Sacro and Museo Cristiano; photographs; professional papers, lecture and course notes; and drafts, extracts and contents of vertical files.

The Charles T. Lanham Papers document the general's WWII and post war military service and his private sector employment with several corporations. The papers contain correspondence, scrapbooks, photographs, journals, speeches, and legal documents.

American Charles William White wrote historical novels about artists and writers under the pen name of "Max White." Active as a historical fiction writer primarily in the 1930s through 1950s, White traveled in the same social circles as Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas. The collection consists of manuscripts and correspondence of Charles William White ("Max White"), including correspondence with Alice B. Toklas and Gertrude Stein.

Charles W. Yost (1907-1981) led a varied career as a diplomat, United Nations representative, writer, and scholar. He was a member of the foreign service intermittently between 1930 and 1971, after which time he devoted himself full-time to writing and teaching. Yost's papers document his professional life in the Foreign Service, as well as his time in academia, and include his correspondence, writings, and photographs.

Consists of a fragment of the Merriam archive on the Harriman Alaska Expedition (1899) as well as other materials relating to documentation of Alaskan wildlife and native peoples in the early 1890s. Most of the material is the result of proofing the illustration of a series of published papers documenting the expedition and its findings.

This collection contains Chester Kerr's early papers on book publishing. It documents his involvement with Atlantic Monthly Press and his employment at Reynal and Hitchcock. It also documents Kerr's work with the United States International Book Association, a short-lived non-profit organization founded in 1945 and dedicated to addressing the issues surrounding international book trade and exports.

Charles Lawton Campbell (Princeton Class of 1916) was an American playwright and advertising writer. His collection contains ninety-four drafts, fragments, and fully-conceived plays, as well as poems, essays, and an autobiography covering fifty years of his life as a devotee of the theater.

The Princeton Clay Project is an initiative launched in January of 2016 by two first-year undergraduate students, Avigail Gilad and Chiara Ficarelli, to raise funds and awareness for the Amal Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships for Syrian refugees at the Za'atari Refugee Camp in Jordan to attend college. The Clay Project Records document the initiative's first semester of fundraising activities for the Amal Scholarship Fund.

Clement Heaton (1861-1940) was an artist, stained glass painter, sculptor, and mosaicist. His collection consists of material concerning the making and history of stained glass compiled by Heaton. Included are files of original artwork and photographs of stained glass and monuments, many notes, articles, and some correspondence on general studies in Medieval and Gothic art, craftmanship, glassmaking, and cathedrals.

Clinton A. Decker traveled to Russia as part of the American Advisory Commission to Russia of Railway Experts (1917) and later became a member of the Inter-Allied Technical Board (1919-1922). The collection contains personal and business correspondence and photographs documenting Decker's travels in Russia, China, and Japan.

The Clive Bell Correspondence collection consists of letters received by the English writer and art critic Clive Bell (1881-1964) from Raymond Mortimer, Harold Nicolson, and V. (Victoria) Sackville-West ["Vita"]. Their content reflects both personal and professional matters.

Consists of a collection of thirty-one miscellaneous documents concerning the incarceration of Japanese Americans by the United States government during World War II at the Tule Lake Relocation Center (later Tule Lake Segregation Center) and other American concentration camps. Most of the materials in this collection relate to a 1943 loyalty questionnaire and the resulting segregation at Tule Lake of those labeled as "disloyal," which led to thousands of incarcerated Japanese Americans deciding to renounce their U.S. citizenship and apply for repatriation to Japan. Materials document resistance efforts by organized groups, such as Sokuji Kikoku Hoshi-dan, as well as individual acts of resistance by incarcerees.

The Collection on William F. McCombs contains materials on and by William F. McCombs, a lawyer who was actively involved in Woodrow Wilson's gubernatorial and presidential campaigns. McCombs' secretary, Maurice F. Lyons, provided transcripts of correspondence and notes authored by McCombs to Arthur S. Link, as part of Link's work on The Papers of Woodrow Wilson. Correspondence between Lyons and Link concerning the typescripts is also located in this collection, as well as a set of bound newspaper clippings on Wilson's campaigns and administrations created by McComb's sister.

The Princeton University College Republicans are the official student group on campus of the National Republican Party. The College Republican Records consist primarily of photographs from College Republican events, campaigning, and social media.

The Commission on the Future of the College–known also as the Bressler Commission–was charged in October 1970 with assessing Princeton's undergraduate curriculum. The collection contains Professor Marvin Bressler's records as the chair of the Commission. The collection is comprised of internal and external correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, and student surveys. Bressler was a member of the Department of Sociology at Princeton University from 1963 to 1993, and for twenty years served as its chairman.

The Nassau Hall Bicentennial Committee was established to plan the 200th anniversary of Nassau Hall over a two-day period beginning on September 22, 1956. The collection documents the activities of the Committee through correspondence, publications, news articles, and press releases.

The Committee on Safety and Insurance was an administrative organization that dealt with occupational safety and insurance issues throughout University facilities and departments. The records consist of Commitee minutes, accident reports, insurance policies, general subject files, and correspondence.

The Committee on the Education of Women at Princeton Records contain the working papers and correspondence of Gardner Patterson, Committee Chair, and his assistants. In June 1967 the Board of Trustees charged the Committee with the study of "the advisability and feasibility" of enlarging the University's role in the education of women. The final report, "The Education of Women at Princeton," was submitted to the Trustees in July 1968. Adopting the recommendation of the Committee, they voted in favor of coeducation the following January and appointed an Ad-Hoc Committee to advise on how to implement their decision. The collection contains some papers Patterson received as a member of this Ad-Hoc Committee, and drafts of its final report, "The Education of Undergraduate Women at Princeton: An Examination of Coordinate Versus Coeducational Patterns."

The Records of the Committee to Defend America by Aiding the Allies (CDAAA) document the Committee to Defend America from its inception in May 1940 to its official dissolution in October 1942. In January, 1942 CDAAA merged with the Council for Democracy to form Citizens for Victory: To Win the War, To Win the Peace. The Committee to Defend America was a propaganda organization that worked to persuade the American public that the United States should supply the Allies with as much material and financial aid as possible in order to keep the United States out of the war. During its year and a half tenure the Committee successfully garnered support from across the country and from other parts of the world.
