Series 3 contains original film reels (mostly 16 mm or 8 mm) documenting Princeton freshman (frosh) football games between 1951 and 2001. For many games more than one reel exists, documenting only offense or defensive plays, practices or scrimmages, kicking, or specific quarters of the game. Duplicate prints of certain reels are also included in the collection.

Alumni Files, 1921-2005

Consists of individual files of former undergraduate students of Princeton University, compiled by the Bureau of Alumni Information. Material in each file varies greatly but most include the names of relatives, notable achievements at Princeton and post-graduation, news items, address updates, and obituaries.
Series 1: Departmental Files, 1909-1970 contains primarily minutes of faculty meetings and committees, copies of comprehensive examinations, and some correspondence. The series documents the development of modern languages and comparative literature education at Princeton, including departmental evolutions and the origins of the Special Program in European Civlization. The series also includes a selection of autographed photographic portraits of French savants and literati, all dating from approximately the 1920s.

Brothers Gerard "Gerry" Thomas (born 1930) and William R. "Bill" Thomas, Jr. (born 1927) both belonged to the Class of 1951. William R. Thomas had delayed his undergraduate education for Army service. They roomed together, and their letters are written to their father William R. Thomas, mother Virginia Postles and younger brother Jim in Washington, D.C.
