Description:

The Department of Politics records document the activities of Princeton University's Department of Politics from the time of its founding until the mid-1960s. The records consist of faculty correspondence and meeting minutes; course materials such as syllabi, exams, and grades; and subject files.

Collection History

Archival Appraisal Information:

Appraisal has been conducted in accordance with Mudd Library guidelines. No separations were made during the 2007 processing.

Access & Use

Access Restrictions:

Student records in box 11 and 39 are restricted for 75 years from the creation of the records.

Conditions for Reproduction and Use:

Single photocopies may be made for research purposes. For quotations that are fair use as defined under U. S. Copyright Law, no permission to cite or publish is required. The Trustees of Princeton University hold copyright to all materials generated by Princeton University employees in the course of their work.
