Material in each file varies greatly but most include the names of relatives, notable achievements at Princeton and post-graduation, news items, address updates, and obituaries.

Collection Creator Biography:

The Bureau of Alumni Records was established in January 1949 as an outgrowth of the records office maintained by the Graduate Council, the governing body of the Princeton University Alumni Association. In addition to maintaining the records of Princeton University graduates, the Bureau assisted class officers, served the Princeton Alumni Weekly, and was responsible for publishing the Alumni Directory.
