Abstract
James Magnuson is a playwright, writer, and the 1970-71 recipient of Princeton's Hodder Fellowship. The collection consists of drafts of five short plays by James Magnuson, as well as clippings, correspondence, and notes.

Magnuson, James
James Magnuson is a playwright and writer. He was the recipient of the Hodder Fellowship at Princeton in 1970-1971, and over the next four years he wrote and directed several new plays at the University. He went on to publish a series of original novels and to direct the James A. Michener Center for Writers at the University of Texas.
