Scope and Contents

Series 2: Non-Photographic Materials from the Daily Princetonian Photographs Collection, 1988-2002 contains records and other non-photographic materials that were received in the same accession (AR.2004.068) as the Daily Princetonian Photograph Collection (AC286). They include materials related to the management and editing of the Prince from the late 1980s through the early 2000s.


The folders in Series 2: Non-Photographic Materials from the Daily Princetonian Photographs Collection, 1988-2002 have not been arranged in any particular order. The materials remain organized in the folders in which they were received.

Collection History




One email folder, entitled "Labor," was deleted from Series 5 due to the presence of legally protected information.

Processing Information

Container list created by Eleanor Wright '14 in December 2011 and finding aid updated by Christie Peterson in February 2012. Series 7 added and finding aid updated by Phoebe Nobles in 2022.

The collection is open for research use, with the exception of Series 5, which is closed until 2024.

Single photocopies may be made for research purposes. For quotations that are fair use as defined under U. S. Copyright Law, no permission to cite or publish is required. The Trustees of Princeton University hold copyright to all materials generated by Princeton University employees in the course of their work. For materials where the copyright is not held by the University, researchers are responsible for determining who may hold the copyright and obtaining approval from them. Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements

For preservation reasons, original analog and digital media may not be read or played back in the reading room. Users may visually inspect physical media but may not remove it from its enclosure. All analog audiovisual media must be digitized to preservation-quality standards prior to use. Audiovisual digitization requests are processed by an approved third-party vendor. Please note, the transfer time required can be as little as several weeks to as long as several months and there may be financial costs associated with the process. Requests should be directed through the Ask Us Form.
