    <head>Scope and Contents</head>
    <p>Consists of typed copies of letters written by John Williams Walker two his brother at two points in his life. The first group of letters date from 1805-1807 when he attended Princeton University as an undergraduate. The second set of letters is from a later period 1808-1809 when Walker was traveling westward from Charleston, South Carolina to the Mississippi Territory. The collection also contains an index to the letters and a brief biography of Walker.</p>
