Collection Creator Biography:

The Princeton Committee on Palestine is an organization at Princeton University that stands in solidarity with the Palestinian people against injustice and in defense of human rights. They aim to end the occupation of the West Bank and the siege on the Gaza Strip. The organization develops educational programming that raises awareness of the Palestinian narrative, Palestinian culture, and the Israeli government's ongoing occupation of the West Bank and siege on the Gaza Strip, as well as how these intersect with racism, militarism, colonization, environmental justice, freedom of movement, rights to education, and more.

The Princeton Committee on Palestine initiated the Princeton Divests campaign on November 5th, 2014, inviting the Princeton University community to join 48 tenured professors in taking a stand for human rights by calling on the University to divest from companies complicit in the military occupation of the West Bank and the continuing siege of Gaza.
