Francis Catlin was a member of the Princeton University Class of 1947. The collection contains materials distributed at the 1947 Bicentennial Convocation celebrating Princeton University's 200th anniversary.

- Description:
The collection contains materials distributed at the 1947 Bicentennial Convocation celebrating Princeton University's 200th anniversary. The items include programs for Laying the Cornerstone of the Firestone memorial Library, for the Concluding Bicentennial Convocation 1947, a Summary of the Princeton Bicentennial Year 1946-1947, and slides from the Bicentennial Convocation. The collection also consists of miscellaneous documents accumulated by Catlin pertaining to enrollment at the university such as student directory, library handbook, curriculum guide, and commencement materials. The slides, some of which are in color, document people (such as Albert Einstein, General Dwight Eisenhower, and Admiral Chester W. Nimitz) and places at Princeton, Harvard University, the University of Notre Dame, and Asbury Park.
