Scope and Contents

This oral history speaker describes his family difficulties growing up and the intricate social scene he was a part of while studying anthropology at Princeton. He describes the relationship between his identity as a gay man and his passion for intellectual thought. He tells the story of how he met his current husband and partner of 30 years at the G.A.P. office in Princeton University's Aaron Burr Hall. Finally, he discusses his extensive law career and reflects on how being born in Cuba has influenced his life.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements

For preservation reasons, original analog and digital media may not be read or played back in the reading room. Users may visually inspect physical media but may not remove it from its enclosure. All analog audiovisual media must be digitized to preservation-quality standards prior to use. Audiovisual digitization requests are processed by an approved third-party vendor. Please note, the transfer time required can be as little as several weeks to as long as several months and there may be financial costs associated with the process.
