Scope and Contents

In fall 2018, the University Archives curated a list of student organization websites. The list was produced from groups registered with the Office of the Dean of Undergraduates (ODUS). An attempt was made to capture all the sites listed; however, due to technological limitations or appraisal decisions as outlined below, we were unable to capture some sites. In order for a site to be considered for capture a site met the following requirement: the site is for the Princeton organization or chapter not the larger organization, if a corporate site, the University Archives received permission to capture the site, and Archive-It accepted the URL.

There are two frequencies for capturing student websites in this collection: annual and one time. Sites with an annual crawl appeared to have been updated within the past two years. One time captures were determined by the lack of an update within two years and/or known disbandment of the organization.

This collection is not an exhaustive list of the student organizations at Princeton University.
