Box 1: Volume of articles on the history of Sicily, and Portfolios No. 1 (Chicago's 1893 World's Columbian Exposition), No. 2 (European views, primarily of England), No. 3 (proofs of illustrations for Paton's Down the Islands), and No. 4 (England). Box 2: Portfolio No. 5 (Europe and Morocco). Box 3: Portfolios No. 7 (England) and No. 8 (Alps). Box 4: Portfolios No. 9 (yachts) and No. 11 (illustrations for his Picturesque Sicily).

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements

For preservation reasons, original analog and digital media may not be read or played back in the reading room. Users may visually inspect physical media but may not remove it from its enclosure. All analog audiovisual media must be digitized to preservation-quality standards prior to use. Audiovisual digitization requests are processed by an approved third-party vendor. Please note, the transfer time required can be as little as several weeks to as long as several months and there may be financial costs associated with the process. Requests should be directed through the Ask Us Form.
